2 ਸਮੂਏਲ 15
1 ੧ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਜੋ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੌੜਨ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਹ ਅੰਗ ਰੱਖਿਅਕ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੇ।
and to be from after so and to make to/for him Absalom chariot and horse and fifty man to run: run to/for face: before his
2 ੨ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਸਾਰ ਹੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਜੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਿਆਦੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕੇ ਪੁੱਛਦਾ ਸੀ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਹੈ? ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਆਖਦਾ, ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਫਲਾਣੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੈ।
and to rise Absalom and to stand: stand upon hand: to way: road [the] gate and to be all [the] man which to be to/for him strife to/for to come (in): come to(wards) [the] king to/for justice: judgement and to call: call to Absalom to(wards) him and to say where? from this city you(m. s.) and to say from one tribe Israel servant/slave your
3 ੩ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਵੇਖ, ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਠੀਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੁਣੇ।
and to say to(wards) him Absalom to see: behold! word: case your pleasant and straightforward and to hear: hear nothing to/for you from with [the] king
4 ੪ ਫਿਰ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਿਆਈਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਿਆਦੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ!
and to say Absalom who? to set: make me to judge in/on/with land: country/planet and upon me to come (in): come all man which to be to/for him strife and justice and to justify him
5 ੫ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਲਈ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਫੈਲਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਗਲੇ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਚੁੰਮ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
and to be in/on/with to present: come man: anyone to/for to bow to/for him and to send: reach [obj] hand his and to strengthen: hold to/for him and to kiss to/for him
6 ੬ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਰਾਜਾ ਕੋਲ ਫ਼ਰਿਆਦ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਏ।
and to make: do Absalom like/as Chronicles [the] this to/for all Israel which to come (in): come to/for justice: judgement to(wards) [the] king and to steal Absalom [obj] heart human Israel
7 ੭ ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਜੋ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਜ਼ਾਜਤ ਦਿਓ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਂਵਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਸੁੱਖਣਾ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੁੱਖੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਾਂ।
and to be from end forty year and to say Absalom to(wards) [the] king to go: went please and to complete [obj] vow my which to vow to/for LORD in/on/with Hebron
8 ੮ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦਾਸ ਜਦ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਗਸ਼ੂਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸੁੱਖਣਾ ਸੁੱਖੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
for vow to vow servant/slave your in/on/with to dwell I in/on/with Geshur in/on/with Syria to/for to say if (to dwell *Q(K)*) to return: rescue me LORD Jerusalem and to serve: minister [obj] LORD (in/on/with Hebron *X*)

10 ੧੦ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੋਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਤੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਖਵਾ ਕੇ ਭੇਜੇ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਣਾ, ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੈ!
and to send: depart Absalom to spy in/on/with all tribe Israel to/for to say like/as to hear: hear you [obj] voice: sound [the] trumpet and to say to reign Absalom in/on/with Hebron
11 ੧੧ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੁਰੇ, ਜੋ ਸੱਦੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਹਿਜ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਤੁਰੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।

12 ੧੨ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਗੀਲੋਨੀ ਅਹੀਥੋਫ਼ਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਗਿਲੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਹ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਸੱਦ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਭਾ ਵੱਧਦੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
and to send: depart Absalom [obj] Ahithophel [the] Gilonite to advise David from city his from Giloh in/on/with to sacrifice he [obj] [the] sacrifice and to be [the] conspiracy strong and [the] people to go: continue and many with Absalom

14 ੧੪ ਸੋ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਆਖਿਆ, ਉੱਠੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਭੱਜ ਚੱਲੀਏ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਾਂਗੇ! ਛੇਤੀ ਤੁਰੋ, ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਆ ਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਲਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਲਿਆਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰੇ!
and to say David to/for all servant/slave his which with him in/on/with Jerusalem to arise: rise and to flee for not to be to/for us survivor from face: before Absalom to hasten to/for to go: went lest to hasten and to overtake us and to banish upon us [obj] [the] distress: harm and to smite [the] city to/for lip: edge sword
15 ੧੫ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਰਾਜਾ ਆਖੇ ਉਹੋ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰ ਹਨ।
and to say servant/slave [the] king to(wards) [the] king like/as all which to choose lord my [the] king behold servant/slave your
16 ੧੬ ਤਦ ਰਾਜਾ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਟੱਬਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ ਦਸ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਰਖ਼ੈਲਾਂ ਸਨ, ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਓਹ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਨ।

18 ੧੮ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਕਰੇਤੀ, ਫਲੇਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਗਿੱਤੀ ਜੁਆਨ ਜੋ ਗਥ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਏ ਸਨ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਗਏ।
and all servant/slave his to pass upon hand: themselves his and all [the] Cherethite and all [the] Pelethite and all [the] Gittite six hundred man which to come (in): come in/on/with foot his from Gath to pass upon face: before [the] king
19 ੧੯ ਤਦ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ ਗਿੱਤੀ ਇੱਤਈ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਉਂ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ? ਤੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੀ ਹੈਂ
and to say [the] king to(wards) Ittai [the] Gittite to/for what? to go: went also you(m. s.) with us to return: return and to dwell with [the] king for foreign you(m. s.) and also to reveal: remove you(m. s.) to/for place your
20 ੨੦ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਜਾ! ਕੱਲ ਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਆਇਆ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਲਾ, ਅੱਜ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਧਰ-ਉੱਧਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਫਿਰਾਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਂਵਾਂ? ਸੋ ਤੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੇ।

21 ੨੧ ਤਦ ਇੱਤਈ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਜਾਵੇ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਉੱਥੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦਾਸ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
and to answer Ittai [obj] [the] king and to say alive LORD and alive lord my [the] king that if: except if: except in/on/with place which to be there lord my [the] king if to/for death if to/for life for there to be servant/slave your
22 ੨੨ ਤਦ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਇੱਤਈ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਚੱਲ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਤਈ ਗਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ, ਸਭ ਬੱਚੇ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ, ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਗਏ।
and to say David to(wards) Ittai to go: went and to pass and to pass Ittai [the] Gittite and all human his and all [the] child which with him
23 ੨੩ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭੁੱਬਾਂ ਮਾਰ-ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਰੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਪਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਆਪ ਵੀ ਕਿਦਰੋਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਕੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਚੱਲ ਪਏ।
and all [the] land: country/planet to weep voice great: large and all [the] people to pass and [the] king to pass in/on/with torrent: river Kidron and all [the] people to pass upon face: surface way: direction [obj] [the] wilderness
24 ੨੪ ਵੇਖੋ, ਸਾਦੋਕ ਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ, ਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਯਾਥਾਰ ਨੇ ਭੇਂਟ ਚੜਾਈ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਾ ਆ ਗਏ।
and behold also Zadok and all [the] Levi with him to lift: bear [obj] ark covenant [the] God and to pour: set down [obj] ark [the] God and to ascend: rise Abiathar till to finish all [the] people to/for to pass from [the] city
25 ੨੫ ਤਦ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਲੈ ਜਾਓ। ਜੇਕਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੋਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫਿਰ ਕਰਾਵੇਗਾ।
and to say [the] king to/for Zadok to return: return [obj] ark [the] God [the] city if to find favor in/on/with eye: appearance LORD and to return: return me and to see: see me [obj] him and [obj] pasture his
26 ੨੬ ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਆਖੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹਾਂ! ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੇ।
and if thus to say not to delight in in/on/with you look! I to make: do to/for me like/as as which be pleasing in/on/with eye: appearance his
27 ੨੭ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਭਲਾ, ਤੂੰ ਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ? ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੁੜ ਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਅਹੀਮਅਸ ਜੋ ਤੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਨਾਥਾਨ ਜੋ ਅਬਯਾਥਾਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈ, ਮੁੜ ਜਾਣ।
and to say [the] king to(wards) Zadok [the] priest to see: seer you(m. s.) to return: return [emph?] [the] city in/on/with peace and Ahimaaz son: child your and Jonathan son: child Abiathar two son: child your with you
to see: behold! I to delay (in/on/with plain *Q(K)*) [the] wilderness till to come (in): come word from from with you to/for to tell to/for me
and to return: return Zadok and Abiathar [obj] ark [the] God Jerusalem and to dwell there
30 ੩੦ ਦਾਊਦ ਜ਼ੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਂਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਢੱਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪੈਰੋਂ ਨੰਗਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਢੱਕ ਲਏ ਅਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ।

31 ੩੧ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ, ਅਹੀਥੋਫ਼ਲ ਵੀ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ, ਤਦ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਹੀਥੋਫ਼ਲ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਰਖਤਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਦੇ।

32 ੩੨ ਫਿਰ ਜਦ ਦਾਊਦ ਉਸ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ ਟੀਸੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ ਹੂਸ਼ਈ ਅਰਕੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਆਇਆ।

34 ੩੪ ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੜ ਜਾਵੇਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੇ, ਹੇ ਰਾਜਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਹਾਂ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਸੀ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਾਂ, ਤਦ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਅਹੀਥੋਫ਼ਲ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸਫਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ।

35 ੩੫ ਭਲਾ, ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਯਾਥਾਰ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਜਾਜਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ? ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੂੰ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਣੇਗਾ, ਸੋ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਯਥਾਰ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦੇਵੀਂ।

36 ੩੬ ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਵੀ ਹਨ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਹੀਮਅਸ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਯਾਥਾਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਨਾਥਾਨ। ਫਿਰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੁਣੋ ਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਖਵਾ ਘੱਲਣਾ।
