1 ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 4
1 ੧ ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਓ, ਹਰੇਕ ਆਤਮਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਸਗੋਂ ਆਤਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਖੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਝੂਠੇ ਨਬੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਆਏ ਹਨ।
Beloved, not every spirit do believe but do test the spirits whether of God they are, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 ੨ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋ। ਹਰੇਕ ਆਤਮਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇਹਧਾਰੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ, ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ।
By this (you know *NK(O)*) the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ in [the] flesh having come of God is.
3 ੩ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਆਤਮਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮਸੀਹ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਕਿ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹੁਣ ਵੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।
and any spirit that not confesses Jesus (Christ in flesh having come *K*) from God not is; And this is that of the antichrist which you have heard that is coming and now in the world is already.
4 ੪ ਹੇ ਬੱਚਿਓ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਉਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।
you yourselves from God are, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is the [One] in you than the [one] in the world.
They themselves of the world are; because of this from out of the world they speak and the world to them listens.
6 ੬ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਂ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਧੋਖੇ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
We ourselves of God are; The [one] knowing God listens to us; He who not is from God not listens to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
7 ੭ ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਓ, ਆਓ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਰੱਖੀਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਿਆਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
Beloved, we may love one another, because love from God is and everyone who is loving from God has been born and knows God;
The [one] not loving not has known God, because God love is.
9 ੯ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਕਲੌਤੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੀਏ।
In this has been revealed the love of God among us, that the Son of Him the one and only has sent God into the world so that we may live through Him.
10 ੧੦ ਪਿਆਰ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਚਿੱਤ ਹੋਵੇ।
In this is love, not that we ourselves (have loved *N(k)O*) God, but that He himself loved us and He sent the Son of Him [as] a propitiation for the sins of us.
11 ੧੧ ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਓ, ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੀਏ।
Beloved, if so God loved us, also we ourselves ought one another to love;
12 ੧੨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
God no [one] at any time has seen; if we shall love one another, God in us abides and the love of Him in us perfected is.
13 ੧੩ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
By this we know that in Him we abide and He in us, because from out the Spirit of Him He has given to us.
And we ourselves have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son [as] Savior of the world.
15 ੧੫ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Who[ever] (maybe *N(k)O*) shall confess that Jesus (Christ *O*) is the Son of God, God in him abides and he in God.
16 ੧੬ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਪਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਾਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
And we ourselves have come to know and we have come to believe the love that has God as to us. God love is, and the [one] abiding in love in God abides, and God in him (abides. *NO*)
17 ੧੭ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦਲੇਰੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ।
In this has been perfected love with us, so that confidence we may have in the day of judgment, that even as He is also we ourselves are in world this.
18 ੧੮ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਸਿੱਧ ਪਿਆਰ ਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਡਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਡਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
Fear no there is in love, but perfect love out casts fear, because the fear punishment has; the [one] now fearing not has been perfected in love.
We ourselves love (him *K*) because He himself first loved us.
20 ੨੦ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਆਖੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਝੂਠਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।
If anyone shall say that I love God and the brother of him may hate, a liar he is; The [one] for not loving the brother of him whom he has seen, God whom not he has seen (not *N(K)O*) is he able to love;
21 ੨੧ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੇ ।
And this the commandment we have from Him, that the [one] loving God may love also the brother of him.
