[the] sons of Judah Perez Hezron and Carmi and Hur and Shobal.
2 ੨ ਸ਼ੋਬਾਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਆਯਾਹ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹਥ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਹੂਮਈ ਤੇ ਲਹਦ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰਆਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖੇ ਸਨ।
And Reaiah [the] son of Shobal he fathered Jahath and Jahath he fathered Ahumai and Lahad these [were] [the] clans of the Zorathite[s].
And these [were] [the] father of Etam Jezreel and Ishma and Idbash and [the] name of sister their [was] Hazelelponi.
And Penuel [was] [the] father of Gedor and Ezer [was] [the] father of Hushah these [were] [the] descendants of Hur [the] firstborn of Ephrath [the] father of Beth-lehem.
And to Ashhur [the] father of Tekoa they belonged two wives Helah and Naarah.
And she bore to him Naarah Ahuzzam and Hepher and Temeni and Haahashtari these [were] [the] sons of Naarah.
And [the] sons of Helah Zereth (and Zohar *Q(K)*) and Ethnan.
And Koz he fathered Anub and the Zobebah [clans] and [the] clans of Aharhel [the] son of Harum.
9 ੯ ਯਾਬੇਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਪਤਵੰਤ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਯਅਬੇਸ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
And he was Jabez honored more than brothers his and mother his she had called name his Jabez saying for I gave birth in pain.
10 ੧੦ ਯਾਬੇਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕਾਸ਼ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਬਰਕਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ, ਤੇਰਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇ!” ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
And he called Jabez to [the] God of Israel saying if really you will bless me and you will increase territory my and it will be hand your with me and you will act from harm to not to hurt me and he brought God [that] which he had asked for.
And Kelub [the] brother of Shuhah he fathered Mehir he [was] [the] father of Eshton.
And Eshton he fathered Beth-Rapha and Paseah and Tehinnah [the] father of Ir-nahash these [were] [the] men of Recah.
And [the] sons of Kenaz Othniel and Seraiah and [the] sons of Othniel Hathath. (And Meonothai. *X*)
14 ੧੪ ਮਓਨੋਥਈ ਤੋਂ ਆਫਰਾਹ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਾਯਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਯੋਆਬ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗੇ-ਹਰਾਸ਼ੀਮ ਦਾ ਪੁਰਖਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਸਨ।
And Meonothai he fathered Ophrah and Seraiah he fathered Joab [the] father of Ge Harashim for craftsmen they were.
And [the] sons of Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh Iru Elah and Naam and [the] sons of Elah and Kenaz.
And [the] sons of Jehallelel Ziph and Ziphah Tiria and Asarel.
17 ੧੭ ਅਤੇ ਅਜ਼ਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਥਰ, ਮਰਦ, ਏਫਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਲੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਿਰਯਮ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੰਮਈ ਤੇ ਯਿਸ਼ਬਹ ਅਸ਼ਤਮੋਆ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਣੀ

18 ੧੮ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਯਹੂਦਣ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਗਦੋਰ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਯਰਦ ਤੇ ਸੋਕੋਹ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੇਬਰ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਾਨੋਅਹ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਯਕੂਥੀਏਲ ਜਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਬਿਥਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ ਜਿਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਦ ਨੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਿਆ
And wife his Judahitess she bore Jared [the] father of Gedor and Heber [the] father of Socoh and Jekuthiel [the] father of Zanoah and these [were] [the] sons of Bithiah [the] daughter of Pharaoh whom he had taken Mered.
And [the] sons of [the] wife of Hodiah [the] sister of Naham [were] [the] father of Keilah Garmite and Eshtemoa the Maacathite.
And [the] sons of Shimon Amnon and Rinnah Ben-Hanan (and Tilon *Q(K)*) and [the] sons of Ishi Zoheth and Ben Zoheth.
21 ੨੧ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ੇਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਲੇਕਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਏਰ ਤੇ ਮਾਰੇਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਲਅਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਤ ਅਸ਼ਬੇਆ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਹੀਨ ਕਤਾਨ ਬੁਣਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਸਨ
[the] sons of Shelah [the] son of Judah Er [the] father of Lecah and Laadah [the] father of Mareshah and [the] clans of [the] House of [the] Work of Fine linen of [the] House of Ashbea.
22 ੨੨ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਕੀਮ ਤੇ ਕੋਜ਼ੇਬਾ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਤੇ ਸਾਰਾਫ ਜੋ ਮੋਆਬ ਤੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਸ਼ੂਬੀ-ਲਹਮ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ
And Jokim and [the] men of Kozeba and Joash and Saraph who they ruled to Moab and Jashubi Lehem and the words [are] ancient.
23 ੨੩ ਇਹ ਘੁਮਿਆਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਦੇਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਨਟਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਵੱਸਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ। ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
They [were] the potters and [the] inhabitants of Netaim and Gederah with the king in service his they dwelt there.
[the] descendants of Simeon Nemuel and Jamin Jarib Zerah Shaul.

27 ੨੭ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਮਈ ਦੇ ਸੋਲ਼ਾਂ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਛੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਾਲ ਬੱਚੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੁਲ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਨਾ ਵਧੇ
And [belonged] to Shimei sons six-teen and daughters six and [belonged] to brothers his not sons many and all clan their not they increased up to [the] descendants of Judah.
And they dwelt in Beer Sheba and Moladah and Hazar Shual.
And in Bilhah and in Ezem and in Tolad.
And in Bethuel and in Hormah and in Ziklag.
31 ੩੧ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਤ ਮਰਕਾਬੋਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇ ਹਸਰ-ਸੂਸੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇ ਬੈਤ-ਬਿਰਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਅਰਇਮ ਵਿੱਚ। ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਤੱਕ ਸਨ
And in Beth Marcaboth and in Hazar Susim and in Beth Biri and in Shaaraim these [were] cities their until reigned David.
And villages their [were] Etam and Ain Rimmon and Tochen and Ashan cities five.
33 ੩੩ ਨਾਲੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਬਆਲ ਤੱਕ। ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਸੇਬੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਲਪੱਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਸਨ
And all villages their which [were] around the cities these to Baal this [was] dwelling places their and recording genealogies they [belonged] to them.
And Meshobab and Jamlech and Joshah [the] son of Amaziah.
And Joel and Jehu [the] son of Joshibiah [the] son of Seraiah [the] son of Asiel.
And Elioenai and Jaakobah and Jeshohaiah and Asaiah and Adiel and Jesimiel and Benaiah.
And Ziza [the] son of Shipi [the] son of Allon [the] son of Jedaiah [the] son of Shimri [the] son of Shemaiah.
38 ੩੮ ਇਹ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਰਨਣ ਹੋਇਆ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਵਧ ਗਏ।
These who came by names [were] leaders in clans their and [the] house of ancestors their they spread out to abundance.
And they went to [the] entrance of Gedor to to [the] east of the valley to seek pasture for flock[s] their.
40 ੪੦ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਚਾਰਗਾਹ ਲੱਭੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇਸ ਲੰਮਾ ਚੌੜਾ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਚੈਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਹਾਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੁੱਢੋਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਸਨ।
And they found pasture fertile and good and the land [was] broad of both hands and at peace and at ease for [were] from Ham the inhabitants there before.
41 ੪੧ ਉਹ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਖੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਡੇਰਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਊਨੀਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਜੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਚਾਰਾ ਸੀ
And they came these who were written by names in [the] days of - Hezekiah [the] king of Judah and they struck down tents their and (the Meunites *Q(K)*) who they were found there and they totally destroyed them until the day this and they dwelt in place of them for pasture for flock[s] their [was] there.
42 ੪੨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸ਼ਿਮਓਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਸੇਈਰ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਏ ਯਿਸ਼ਈ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਲਟਯਾਹ ਤੇ ਨਅਰਯਾਹ ਤੇ ਰਫ਼ਾਯਾਹ ਤੇ ਉੱਜ਼ੀਏਲ ਸਨ
And some of them - of [the] descendants of Simeon they went to [the] mountain of Seir men five hundred and Pelatiah and Neariah and Rephaiah and Uzziel [the] sons of Ishi [were] at head their.
43 ੪੩ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਭੱਜ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ ਸਨ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਉੱਥੇ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ।
And they struck down [the] remnant of the escaped remnant of Amalek and they have dwelt there until the day this.
