1 Egaa maal jenna ree? Akka ayyaanni baayʼatuuf ittuma fufnee cubbuu haa hojjennuu?
Therfor what schulen we seie? Schulen we dwelle in synne, that grace be plenteuouse?
2 Gonkumaa hin taʼu! Nu warri cubbuuf duune, siʼachi akkamitti cubbuu jala jiraanna?
God forbede. For hou schulen we that ben deed to synne, lyue yit ther ynne?
3 Yookaan nu warri Kiristoos Yesuusitti cuuphamne hundi akka duʼa isaattis cuuphamne isin hin beektanii?
Whether, britheren, ye knowen not, that whiche euere we ben baptisid in Crist Jhesu, we ben baptisid in his deth?
4 Kanaafuu akkuma Kiristoos ulfina Abbaatiin warra duʼan keessaa kaafame sana nus akka jireenya haaraa jiraannuuf cuuphaadhaan duʼa isaa keessatti hirmaannee isa wajjin awwaalamne.
For we ben togidere biried with hym bi baptym `in to deth; that as Crist aroos fro deth bi the glorie of the fadir, so walke we in a newnesse of lijf.
5 Nu erga duʼa isaatiin akkasitti isa wajjin tokko taane, duʼaa kaʼuu isaatiinis akkasuma isa wajjin tokko ni taana.
For if we plauntid togidere ben maad to the licnesse of his deth, also we schulen be of the licnesse of his risyng ayen;
6 Akka dhagni cubbamaan balleeffamuuf, nus akka siʼachi garboota cubbuu hin taaneef akka namummaan keenya moofaan sun isa wajjin fannifame ni beekna;
witynge this thing, that oure olde man is crucified togidere, that the bodi of synne be distruyed, that we serue no more to synne.
7 namni duʼe cubbuu irraa bilisoomeeraatii.
For he that is deed, is iustefied fro synne.
8 Egaa nu yoo Kiristoos wajjin duune, akka isa wajjin jiraannus ni amanna.
And if we ben deed with Crist, we bileuen that also we schulen lyue togidere with hym;
9 Kiristoos warra duʼan keessaa waan kaʼeef, akka inni deebiʼee hin duune ni beeknaatii; duutis siʼachi isa irratti gooftummaa hin qabu.
witinge for Crist, rysynge ayen fro deth, now dieth not, deeth schal no more haue lordschip on hym.
10 Inni duʼa duʼe sana siʼa tokko yeroo hundaaf cubbuuf duʼe; jireenya jiraatu sana garuu Waaqaaf jiraata.
For that he was deed to synne, he was deed onys; but that he lyueth, he liueth to God.
11 Isinis akkasuma akka cubbuuf duutanitti, Kiristoos Yesuusiin garuu akka Waaqaaf jiraattota taatanitti of hedaa.
So ye deme you silf to be deed to synne, but lyuynge to God in `Jhesu Crist oure Lord.
12 Kanaafuu isin akka fedhii isaa hamaadhaaf hin ajajamneef dhagna keessan kan duʼa hin oolle irratti cubbuu hin moosisinaa.
Therfor regne not synne in youre deedli bodi, that ye obeische to hise coueityngis.
13 Akka warra duʼa irraa gara jireenyaatti fidamaniitti Waaqaaf of dhiʼeessaa malee kutaa dhagna keessanii miʼa jalʼinaa gootanii cubbuuf hin dhiʼeessinaa; garuu kutaa dhagna keessanii miʼa qajeelinaa godhaatii Waaqaaf dhiʼeessaa.
Nether yyue ye youre membris armuris of wickidnesse to synne, but yyue ye you silf to God, as thei that lyuen of deed men, and youre membris armuris of riytwisnesse to God.
14 Isin ayyaana jala jirtu malee waan seera jala hin jirreef, cubbuun isin irratti gooftummaa hin qabaatu.
For synne schal not haue lordschipe on you; for ye ben not vndur the lawe, but vndur grace.
15 Egaa maal haa taʼu ree? Nu sababii ayyaana jala malee seera jala hin jirreef cubbuu haa hojjennuu? Gonkumaa hin taʼu!
What therfor? Schulen we do synne, for we ben not vndur the lawe, but vndur grace?
16 Cubbuu gara duʼaatti nama geessuufis taʼu yookaan ajajamuu gara qajeelummaatti nama geessuuf, yommuu akka garbootaatti nama tokkoof ajajamuuf of kennitanitti, nama ajajamtaniif sanaaf akka garboota taatan hin beektanii?
God forbede. Witen ye not, that to whom ye yyuen you seruauntis to obeie to, ye ben seruauntis of that thing, to which ye han obeschid, ether of synne to deth, ether of obedience to riytwisnesse?
17 Isin yoo garboota cubbuu turtan illee amma garuu barumsa itti kennamtan sanaaf waan garaa guutuun ajajamtaniif Waaqaaf galanni haa taʼu.
But Y thanke God, that ye weren seruauntis of synne; but ye han obeischid of herte in to that fourme of techyng, in which ye ben bitakun.
18 Isin cubbuu irraa bilisoomtanii garboota qajeelummaa taataniirtu.
And ye delyuered fro synne, ben maad seruauntis of riytwisnesse.
19 Sababii isin uumamaanuu dadhaboo taataniif ani jecha namaa galuun nan dubbadha; akkuma kutaa dhagna keessanii xuraaʼummaa fi hammina guddachaa deemuuf garba gootanii dhiʼeessaa turtan sana ammas kutaa dhagna keessanii qajeelummaa gara qulqullummaatti geessuuf garba godhaatii dhiʼeessaa.
Y seie that thing that is of man, for the vnstidefastnesse of youre fleisch. But as ye han youun youre membris to serue to vnclennesse, and to wickidnesse `in to wickidnesse, so now yyue ye youre membris to serue to riytwisnesse in to hoolynesse.
20 Isin yeroo garboota cubbuu turtanitti, qajeelummaa irraa bilisa turtan.
For whanne ye weren seruauntis of synne, ye weren fre of riytfulnesse.
21 Waan amma itti qaanoftan kana irraa yeroo sana buʼaa maalii argattan ree? Dhumni waan sanaa duʼaatii!
Therfor what fruyt hadden ye thanne in tho thingis, in whiche ye schamen now? For the ende of hem is deth.
22 Amma garuu waan cubbuu irraa bilisoomtanii garboota Waaqaa taataniif faayidaan isin argattan gara qulqullummaatti isin geessa; dhumni isaas jireenya bara baraa ti. (aiōnios g166)
But now ye delyuered fro synne, and maad seruauntis to God, han your fruyt in to holinesse, and the ende euerlastinge lijf. (aiōnios g166)
