1 Kanaafuu amantiidhaan qajeeltota erga taasifamnee nu karaa Gooftaa keenya Yesuus Kiristoosiin Waaqa wajjin nagaa qabna.
BECAUSE, then, we are justified by faith, we have peace with Aloha through our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
2 Ayyaana amma jabaannee ittiin dhaabannu kanattis karaa isaatiin amantiin galuuf carraa arganneerra. Abdii ulfina Waaqaattis ni gammanna.
And by him we have been admitted through faith into this grace in which we stand, and exult in hope of the glory of Aloha.
3 Kana qofa miti; nu dhiphina keenyattis ni gammanna; akka dhiphinni obsa fidu ni beeknaatii;
And not thus only, but also in afflictions we exult; for we know that affliction perfecteth patience in us,
4 obsi jabaatanii dhaabachuu, jabaatanii dhaabachuun immoo abdii fida.
and patience experience, and experience hope:
5 Jaalalli Waaqaa karaa Hafuura Qulqulluu nuu kennamee sanaatiin garaa keenya keessatti waan dhangalaafameef abdiin nu hin qaanessu.
but hope maketh us not ashamed, because the love of Aloha is shed forth upon our hearts by the Spirit of Holiness who is given to us.
6 Utuu nu amma illee dadhabdoota taanee jirruu yeroo malutti Kiristoos cubbamootaaf jedhee duʼe.
But if the Meshiha on account of our infirmity in this time for the wicked hath died:
7 Yoo namni tokko nama gaariif duʼuuf ija jabaachuu dandaʼe iyyuu, namni nama qajeelaaf duʼu akka malee muraasa.
for hardly for the wicked one dieth; for on account of the good one may perhaps dare to die.
8 Garuu utuma nu cubbamoota taanee jirruu Kiristoos nuuf jedhee duʼe; kunis jaalala Waaqni nuuf qabu argisiisa.
Nevertheless Aloha hath manifested his love for us, in that, when we were sinners, the Meshiha for us died:
9 Egaa nu amma erga dhiiga isaatiin qajeeltota taasifamnee, akkam karuma isaatiin dheekkamsa Waaqaa jalaa hin baane ree!
how much more, then, shall we be now justified through his blood, and by him be delivered from wrath?
10 Nu utuu diinota Waaqaa taanee jirruu erga duʼa ilma isaatiin isatti araaramnee, erga isatti araaramnee booddee immoo hammam caalaa jireenya isaatiin hin fayyinu ree!
For if, while we were adversaries, Aloha was reconciled with us through the death of his Son, how much more, then, in reconciliation with him, shall we be saved by his life?
11 Kana qofa miti; nu garuu Gooftaa keenya Yesuus Kiristoos isa ittiin amma araara arganne sanaan Waaqatti ni gammanna.
And not thus only, but we also exult in Aloha through our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, by whom we have now received the reconciliation.
12 Kanaaf akkuma cubbuun karaa nama tokkootiin addunyaa seene, duuti immoo karaa cubbuutiin seene; sababii namni hundinuu cubbuu hojjeteefis duuti nama hundatti dhufe.
As by one man sin entered into the world, and by sin death, so death hath passed upon all men through this, that all have sinned.
13 Utuu seerri hin kennaminiin dura iyyuu cubbuun addunyaa keessa tureetii; yeroo seerri hin jirretti garuu cubbuun hin lakkaaʼamu.
For until the law, sin, while it was in the world, was not reckoned sin, because the law was not;
14 Taʼus duuti bara Addaam irraa jalqabee hamma bara Museetti warra dogoggora akka Addaam hin hojjetin irratti illee moʼee ture; Addaamis Isa dhufuuf jiru sanaaf fakkeenya ture.
yet death reigned from Adam until Musha on them also who had not sinned after the manner of the transgression of the law of Adam, who was the type of him who was to be.
15 Kennaan tolaa sun garuu akka balleessaa sanaa miti. Erga sababii balleessaa nama tokkootiin namoonni baayʼeen duʼanii, ayyaanni Waaqaatii fi kennaan karaa ayyaana nama tokkootiin jechuunis kennaan karaa Yesuus Kiristoosiitiin dhufe sun immoo hammam caalaa namootaaf haa baayʼatu ree!
But not as was the fall, so is the gift; for if, on account of the fall of one, many died, how much more the grace of Aloha, and his gift, for the sake of one man, Jeshu Meshiha, in many will abound?
16 Kennaan Waaqaa miidhaa cubbuun namni tokko hojjete fiduun tokko miti: Murtiin cubbuu tokkichaaf kenname yakkamtummaa fideera; kennaan tolaa kan balleessaa baayʼee irratti kenname garuu qajeelummaa fide.
And not as the transgression of one, so is the gift; for the judgment that was by one was unto condemnation, but the gift (which saves) from many sins was unto righteousness.
17 Erga sababii balleessaa nama tokkootiin karaa namicha sanaatiin duuti moʼee, warri ayyaana baayʼatee irraa hafaa taʼee fi kennaa qajeeltota nama taasisu argatan immoo karaa nama tokkoo karaa Yesuus Kiristoosiitiin hammam caalaa jireenyaan hin moʼan ree!
For if because of the transgression of one death was made to reign, much more (shall) they who receive the abundance of the grace and of the gift and of righteousness, reign in life by one, Jeshu Meshiha.
18 Kanaafuu akkuma balleessaan tokko nama hundatti yakka mursiise, akkasuma immoo hojiin qajeelummaa tokko nama hundaaf qajeelummaa jireenya fidu taʼe.
As then on account of the transgression of one was the condemnation of all men, so, on account of the righteousness of one shall there be acquittal unto the life of all men.
19 Akkuma ajajamuu diduu nama tokkootiin namoonni baayʼeen cubbamoota taʼan, akkasuma immoo ajajamuu nama tokkootiin namoonni baayʼeen qajeeltota ni taasifamu.
For as on account of the disobedience of one man many became sinners, so also on account of the obedience of one many became righteous.
20 Seerris akka cubbuun baayʼatuuf dhufe. Lafa cubbuun baayʼatetti garuu ayyaanni akka malee baayʼate;
But the entrance which was of the law, (made) sin to increase; and where sin increased, there grace hath abounded:
21 kunis akkuma cubbuun karaa duʼaatiin moʼe sana ayyaannis karaa Gooftaa keenya Yesuus Kiristoosiitiin akka jireenya bara baraa fiduuf karaa qajeelinaatiin akka moʼuuf. (aiōnios g166)
that as sin hath reigned in death, so grace might reign in righteousness unto the life which is eternal, by the hand of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha. (aiōnios g166)
