1 Anis sagalee guddaa, ergamoota torbaniin, “Dhaqaatii, waciitiiwwan dheekkamsa Waaqaa torban keessaa lafa irratti dhangalaasaa” jedhu tokko mana qulqullummaa keessaa nan dhagaʼe.
I heard a loud voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth."
2 Ergamaan Waaqaa inni jalqabaa dhaqee waciitii isaa keessaa lafa irratti dhangalaase; namoota mallattoo bineensichaa of irraa qabanii fi fakkii isaatiif sagadanittis madaan hamaanii fi dhukkubsaan ni yaaʼe.
The first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth, and it became a harmful and evil sore on the people who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.
3 Ergamaan lammaffaan waciitii isaa keessaa galaanatti dhangalaase; galaanichis dhiiga akka dhiiga nama duʼee taʼe; lubbuu qabeeyyiin galaana sana keessaa hundinuus ni duʼan.
The second one poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood as of a corpse. And every living thing in the sea died.
4 Ergamaan sadaffaan waciitii isaa keessaa lageenii fi burqaawwan bishaanii irratti dhangalaase; isaanis dhiiga taʼan.
The third poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.
5 Ergamaan bishaanota irratti itti gaafatamummaa qabus utuu akkana jedhuu nan dhagaʼe: “Yaa Isa Qulqulluu, kan jirtu, kan turte, sababii wantoota kanneen murteessiteef, ati qajeelaa dha;
I heard the angel of the waters saying, "You are righteous, who is and who was, the Holy One, because you have judged these things.
6 Waan isaan dhiiga qulqullootaatii fi dhiiga raajotaa dhangalaasaniif, ati immoo akka isaan dhuganiif dhiiga isaaniif kenniteerta; kun isaaniif ni malaatii.”
For they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this."
7 Anis utuu iddoon aarsaa, “Eeyyee yaa Waaqayyo Gooftaa Waan Hunda Dandeessu, murtiin kee dhugaa fi qajeelaa dha” jedhuu nan dhagaʼe.
I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God of hosts, true and righteous are your judgments."
8 Ergamaan afuraffaanis waciitii isaa keessaa aduu irratti dhangalaase; aduudhaafis akka isheen ibiddaan nama gubduuf humni ni kenname.
The fourth poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to scorch people with fire.
9 Namoonnis hoʼa guddaa sanaan ni gubatan; maqaa Waaqa dhaʼicha kanneen irratti humna qabu sanaas ni abaaran; qalbii jijjiirrachuu fi ulfina isaaf kennuus ni didan.
People were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.
10 Ergamaan shanaffaanis waciitii isaa keessaa teessoo bineensichaa irratti dhangalaase; mootummaan bineensichaas dukkanaan liqimfame. Namoonnis dhiphachuudhaan arraba isaanii cicciniinan;
The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was darkened. They gnawed their tongues because of the pain,
11 sababii dhukkubbii fi madaa isaaniitiifis Waaqa samii ni abaaran; garuu hojii isaanii irraa qalbii hin jijjiirranne.
and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores. They did not repent of their works.
12 Ergamaan jaʼaffaanis waciitii isaa keessaa Efraaxiis lagicha guddaa irratti dhangalaase; bishaan laga sanaas mootota Baʼa Biiftuutii dhufaniif akka karaan qopheeffamuuf ni goge.
The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates. Its water was dried up, that the way might be made ready for the kings that come from the sunrise.
13 Ergasii afaan bineensa jawwee fakkaatu sanaa keessaa, afaan bineensichaa keessaa fi afaan raajii sobaa keessaa hafuuronni xuraaʼoon fattee fakkaatan sadii utuu baʼanuu nan arge.
I saw coming out of the mouth of the serpent, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, something like frogs;
14 Isaanis hafuurota hafuura hamaa kanneen hojiiwwan dinqii hojjetanii dha; isaanis lola guyyaa guddichaa kan Waaqa Waan Hunda Dandaʼu sanaatiif walitti isaan qabuuf gara mootota addunyaa hundaatti kan baʼanii dha.
for they are spirits of demons, performing signs; which go forth to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God the Almighty.
15 “Kunoo, ani akka hattuutti nan dhufa! Namni akka qullaa hin deemneef, akka qaaniin isaas hin mulʼanneef dammaqee uffata isaa eeggatu eebbifamaa dha.”
"Look, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his clothes, so that he does not walk naked, and they see his shame."
16 Isaanis iddoo afaan Ibraayisxiitiin Armaageedon jedhamutti mootota sana walitti qaban.
He gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew, Har Megiddo.
17 Ergamaan torbaffaanis waciitii isaa keessaa qilleensa keessatti dhangalaase; sagaleen guddaan, “Raawwatameera!” jedhu tokkos mana qulqullummaatii teessoo keessaa baʼe.
The seventh poured out his bowl into the air. A loud voice came forth out of the temple, from the throne, saying, "It is done."
18 Ergasiis balaqqeen, sagaleen, kakawweetii fi sochiin lafaa hamaan tokko ni taʼe. Sochiin lafaa kan akkanaas erga namni lafa irra jiraachuu jalqabee kaasee takkumaa taʼee hin beeku; sochiin lafaa sunis akka malee guddaa ture.
There were lightnings, voices, and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since man was on the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.
19 Magaalattiin guddoon iddoo sadiitti gargar qoodamte; magaalaawwan sabootaas ni kufan. Waaqnis Baabilon Guddittii ni yaadate; xoofoo daadhii wayinii dheekkamsa isaa sodaachisaadhaan guutames ni kenneef.
The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20 Biyyoonni bishaaniin marfaman hundinuu ni baqatan; tulluuwwanis argamuu hin dandeenye.
Every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 Dhagaan cabbii gurguddaan tokkoon tokkoon isaa gara kiiloo giraamii afurtamii shanii ulfaatu samii irraa namoota irra bubbuʼe. Dhaʼichi sunis waan akka malee hamaa tureef namoonni sababii dhaʼicha cabbii sanaatiif Waaqa ni abaaran.
Great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, came down out of the sky on people. People blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague is exceedingly severe.
