1 Anis sagalee guddaa, ergamoota torbaniin, “Dhaqaatii, waciitiiwwan dheekkamsa Waaqaa torban keessaa lafa irratti dhangalaasaa” jedhu tokko mana qulqullummaa keessaa nan dhagaʼe.
Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out on the earth the seven bowls of God’s wrath.”
2 Ergamaan Waaqaa inni jalqabaa dhaqee waciitii isaa keessaa lafa irratti dhangalaase; namoota mallattoo bineensichaa of irraa qabanii fi fakkii isaatiif sagadanittis madaan hamaanii fi dhukkubsaan ni yaaʼe.
So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and loathsome, malignant sores broke out on those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.
3 Ergamaan lammaffaan waciitii isaa keessaa galaanatti dhangalaase; galaanichis dhiiga akka dhiiga nama duʼee taʼe; lubbuu qabeeyyiin galaana sana keessaa hundinuus ni duʼan.
And the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned to blood like that of the dead, and every living thing in the sea died.
4 Ergamaan sadaffaan waciitii isaa keessaa lageenii fi burqaawwan bishaanii irratti dhangalaase; isaanis dhiiga taʼan.
And the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they turned to blood.
5 Ergamaan bishaanota irratti itti gaafatamummaa qabus utuu akkana jedhuu nan dhagaʼe: “Yaa Isa Qulqulluu, kan jirtu, kan turte, sababii wantoota kanneen murteessiteef, ati qajeelaa dha;
And I heard the angel of the waters say: “Righteous are You, O Holy One, who is and was, because You have brought these judgments.
6 Waan isaan dhiiga qulqullootaatii fi dhiiga raajotaa dhangalaasaniif, ati immoo akka isaan dhuganiif dhiiga isaaniif kenniteerta; kun isaaniif ni malaatii.”
For they have spilled the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink, as they deserve.”
7 Anis utuu iddoon aarsaa, “Eeyyee yaa Waaqayyo Gooftaa Waan Hunda Dandeessu, murtiin kee dhugaa fi qajeelaa dha” jedhuu nan dhagaʼe.
And I heard the altar reply: “Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are Your judgments.”
8 Ergamaan afuraffaanis waciitii isaa keessaa aduu irratti dhangalaase; aduudhaafis akka isheen ibiddaan nama gubduuf humni ni kenname.
Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given power to scorch the people with fire.
9 Namoonnis hoʼa guddaa sanaan ni gubatan; maqaa Waaqa dhaʼicha kanneen irratti humna qabu sanaas ni abaaran; qalbii jijjiirrachuu fi ulfina isaaf kennuus ni didan.
And the people were scorched by intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues; yet they did not repent and give Him glory.
10 Ergamaan shanaffaanis waciitii isaa keessaa teessoo bineensichaa irratti dhangalaase; mootummaan bineensichaas dukkanaan liqimfame. Namoonnis dhiphachuudhaan arraba isaanii cicciniinan;
And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness, and men began to gnaw their tongues in anguish
11 sababii dhukkubbii fi madaa isaaniitiifis Waaqa samii ni abaaran; garuu hojii isaanii irraa qalbii hin jijjiirranne.
and curse the God of heaven for their pains and sores; yet they did not repent of their deeds.
12 Ergamaan jaʼaffaanis waciitii isaa keessaa Efraaxiis lagicha guddaa irratti dhangalaase; bishaan laga sanaas mootota Baʼa Biiftuutii dhufaniif akka karaan qopheeffamuuf ni goge.
And the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East.
13 Ergasii afaan bineensa jawwee fakkaatu sanaa keessaa, afaan bineensichaa keessaa fi afaan raajii sobaa keessaa hafuuronni xuraaʼoon fattee fakkaatan sadii utuu baʼanuu nan arge.
And I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.
14 Isaanis hafuurota hafuura hamaa kanneen hojiiwwan dinqii hojjetanii dha; isaanis lola guyyaa guddichaa kan Waaqa Waan Hunda Dandaʼu sanaatiif walitti isaan qabuuf gara mootota addunyaa hundaatti kan baʼanii dha.
These are demonic spirits that perform signs and go out to all the kings of the earth, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.
15 “Kunoo, ani akka hattuutti nan dhufa! Namni akka qullaa hin deemneef, akka qaaniin isaas hin mulʼanneef dammaqee uffata isaa eeggatu eebbifamaa dha.”
“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who remains awake and clothed, so that he will not go naked and let his shame be exposed.”
16 Isaanis iddoo afaan Ibraayisxiitiin Armaageedon jedhamutti mootota sana walitti qaban.
And they assembled the kings in the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
17 Ergamaan torbaffaanis waciitii isaa keessaa qilleensa keessatti dhangalaase; sagaleen guddaan, “Raawwatameera!” jedhu tokkos mana qulqullummaatii teessoo keessaa baʼe.
Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came from the throne in the temple, saying, “It is done!”
18 Ergasiis balaqqeen, sagaleen, kakawweetii fi sochiin lafaa hamaan tokko ni taʼe. Sochiin lafaa kan akkanaas erga namni lafa irra jiraachuu jalqabee kaasee takkumaa taʼee hin beeku; sochiin lafaa sunis akka malee guddaa ture.
And there were flashes of lightning, and rumblings, and peals of thunder, and a great earthquake the likes of which had not occurred since men were upon the earth—so mighty was the great quake.
19 Magaalattiin guddoon iddoo sadiitti gargar qoodamte; magaalaawwan sabootaas ni kufan. Waaqnis Baabilon Guddittii ni yaadate; xoofoo daadhii wayinii dheekkamsa isaa sodaachisaadhaan guutames ni kenneef.
The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. And God remembered Babylon the great and gave her the cup of the wine of the fury of His wrath.
20 Biyyoonni bishaaniin marfaman hundinuu ni baqatan; tulluuwwanis argamuu hin dandeenye.
Then every island fled, and no mountain could be found.
21 Dhagaan cabbii gurguddaan tokkoon tokkoon isaa gara kiiloo giraamii afurtamii shanii ulfaatu samii irraa namoota irra bubbuʼe. Dhaʼichi sunis waan akka malee hamaa tureef namoonni sababii dhaʼicha cabbii sanaatiif Waaqa ni abaaran.
And great hailstones weighing almost a hundred pounds each rained down on them from above. And men cursed God for the plague of hail, because it was so horrendous.
