< Faarfannaa 93 >
1 Waaqayyo ni moʼa; surraas ni uffata; Waaqayyo surra ni uffata; jabinas hidhata. Addunyaan cimtee dhaabamteerti; hin sochoofamtus.
The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with excellency; the Lord is clothed, he hath girded himself with strength: [therefore] also the world is firmly established, that it cannot be moved.
2 Teessoon kee durumaa jalqabee cimee dhaabateera; ati durii duriitii jalqabdee jirta.
Firmly established is thy throne from the beginning: from everlasting art thou [God].
3 Yaa Waaqayyo, galaanonni ol kaasaniiru; galaanonni sagalee isaanii ol kaafataniiru; galaanonni huursuu isaanii ol kaafataniiru.
The rivers have lifted up, O Lord, the rivers have lifted up their voice; the rivers lift up their waves.
4 Sagalee bishaan baayʼee caalaa, jabina dhaʼaa galaanaa caalaas, Waaqayyo ol gubbaa jiru sun humna qabeessa.
[But] more than the noise of great waters, than the mighty billows of the sea, is the Lord excellent on high.
5 Seerri kee jabaatee ni dhaabata; Yaa Waaqayyo, qulqullummaan bara baraan faaya mana keetii ti.
Thy testimonies are exceedingly steadfast: in thy house abideth holiness, O Lord! to the utmost length of days.
