1 Dura buʼaa faarfattootaatiif. Yeedaloo “Daraaraa kakuu” jedhamuun faarfatame. Miiktaamii Daawit. Barsiisuuf. Yeroo inni Arraam Nahaaraayimii fi Arraam Zoobaa lolee fi yeroo Yooʼaabin deebisee warra Edoomii keessaa namoota kuma kudha lama Sulula soogiddaa keessatti fixetti faarfatame. Yaa Waaqi, ati nu gatteerta; nu caccabsiteertas; nutti aarteerta; amma garuu iddootti nu deebisi!

O God, thou hast cast vs out, thou hast scattered vs, thou hast bene angry, turne againe vnto vs.
2 Ati lafa sochoofteerta; tarsaaftees afaan bansiifteerta; caccabaa ishees walitti suphi; isheen raafamteertii.
Thou hast made the land to tremble, and hast made it to gape: heale the breaches thereof, for it is shaken.
3 Ati akka sabni kee waan hamaadhaan dhiphatu gooteerta; daadhii wayinii nu gatantarsus nuu kenniteerta.
Thou hast shewed thy people heauy things: thou hast made vs to drinke the wine of giddines.
4 Akka isaan iddaa jalaa gara isaatti baqataniif, ati warra si sodaataniif mallattoo kenniteerta.
But now thou hast giuen a banner to them that feare thee, that it may be displayed because of thy trueth. (Selah)
5 Akka warri ati jaallattu furamaniif, harka kee mirgaatiin nu oolchi; nu gargaaris.
That thy beloued may be deliuered, helpe with thy right hand and heare me.
6 Waaqni iddoo qulqullummaa isaatii akkana jedhee dubbateera; “Ani gammachuudhaan Sheekemin gargar nan qooda; Sulula Sukootis nan safara.
God hath spoken in his holines: therefore I will reioyce: I shall deuide Shechem, and measure the valley of Succoth.
7 Giliʼaad kan koo ti; Minaaseenis kan koo ti. Efreem gonfoo sibiilaa koo ti; Yihuudaanis bokkuu mootummaa koo ti.
Gilead shalbe mine, and Manasseh shalbe mine: Ephraim also shalbe the strength of mine head: Iudah is my lawgiuer.
8 Moʼaab caabii dhiqannaa koo ti; Edoom irra kophee koo darbadhee nan buusa; Filisxeem irrattis moʼannaadhaan nan geerara.”
Moab shalbe my wash pot: ouer Edom will I cast out my shoe: Palestina shew thy selfe ioyfull for me.
9 Eenyutu magaalaa jabeeffamtee ijaaramtetti na fida? Eenyutu Edoomitti na geessa?
Who will leade me into the strong citie? who will bring me vnto Edom?
10 Yaa Waaqi, kan nu gatte suma mitii? Yaa Waaqi, kan loltoota keenya wajjin baʼuu diddes suma mitii?
Wilt not thou, O God, which hadest cast vs off, and didest not go forth, O God, with our armies?
11 Diina keenya of irraa dhowwuu nu gargaar; gargaarsi namaa faayidaa hin qabuutii.
Giue vs helpe against trouble: for vaine is the helpe of man.
12 Nu Waaqa wajjin ni moʼanna; innis diinota keenya gad dhidhiita.
Through God we shall doe valiantly: for he shall tread downe our enemies.
