1 Dura buʼaa faarfattootaatiif. Faarfannaa Ilmaan Qooraahi. Isin saboonni hundinuu harka keessan rukutaa; sagalee ol fudhadhaatii gammachuudhaan Waaqaaf ililchaa.

To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. All people clap your hands: sing loude vnto God with a ioyfull voyce.

2 Waaqayyo Waaqa Waan Hundaa Olii, Mootichi guddaan lafa hundumaa, sodaachisaadhaatii!

For the Lord is high, and terrible: a great King ouer all the earth.

3 Inni saboota nu jala, namootas miilla keenya jala galcheera.

He hath subdued the people vnder vs, and the nations vnder our feete.

4 Innis nu warra Yaaqoob isa inni jaallate sanaaf ulfina taaneef, dhaala keenya nuu fileera.

Hee hath chosen our inheritance for vs: euen the glory of Iaakob whom he loued. (Selah)

5 Waaqni ililleedhaan, Waaqayyo sagalee malakataatiin ol baʼe.

God is gone vp with triumph, euen the Lord, with the sound of the trumpet.

6 Faarfannaa galataa Waaqaaf faarfadhaa; faarfannaa galataa faarfadhaa; faarfannaa galataa Mootii keenyaaf faarfadhaa; faarfannaa galataa faarfadhaa.

Sing prayses to God, sing prayses: sing prayses vnto our King, sing prayses.

7 Waaqni Mootii lafa hundaa ti; faarfannaa galataa hubannaadhaan faarfadhaa.

For God is the King of all the earth: sing prayses euery one that hath vnderstanding.

8 Waaqni saboota irratti Mootii dha; Waaqni teessoo isaa qulqulluu irra taaʼeera.

God reigneth ouer the heathen: God sitteth vpon his holy throne.

9 Qondaaltonni sabootaa, akkuma saba Waaqa Abrahaamitti walitti qabamu; mootonni lafa irraa kan Waaqaatii; innis guddisee ol ol jedheera.

The princes of the people are gathered vnto the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the world belong to God: he is greatly to be exalted.
