Faarfannaa 42
1 Dura buʼaa faarfattootaatiif. Maskiilii Ilmaan Qooraahi. Akkuma gadamsi bishaan yaaʼutti gaggabu sana, yaa Waaqa ko, lubbuun koo sitti gaggabdi.
To the choirmaster a poem of [the] sons of Korah. Like a deer [which] it pants towards channels of water so being my it pants to you O God.
2 Lubbuun koo Waaqayyoon Waaqa jiraataa dheebotti. Ani yoomin dhaqee fuula Waaqaa arga?
It thirsts being my - for God for [the] God living when? will I go and I may appear? [the] presence of God.
3 Imimmaan koo halkanii guyyaa soora naa taʼeera; namoonni guyyaa guutuu “Waaqni kee eessa jira?” anaan jedhuutii.
It has been of me tear[s] my food by day and night when say to me all the day where? [is] God your.
4 Ani yommuun waan kana yaadadhutti, lubbuu koo of keessatti nan dhangalaasa: ilillee fi faarfannaa galataatiin tuuta ayyaana ayyaaneffatu tokko, hiriiraan gara mana Waaqaatti geggeessaa tuuticha wajjin akkamitti akka ani deemaa ture yaadadha.
These [things] I will remember - and I will pour out on myself - soul my that I passed on - with the crowd I led them to [the] house of God with [the] sound of a shout of joy and thanksgiving a multitude celebrating a festival.
5 Yaa lubbuu ko, ati maaliif gaddita? Na keessattis maaliif raafamta? Abdii kee Waaqa irra keeyyadhu; ani amma iyyuu isa nan jajadha. Fayyisaa koo fi Waaqa koo nan jajadha.
Why? are you bowed down - O soul my and were you in turmoil? on me wait for God for again I will give thanks to him [the] salvation of presence his.
6 Lubbuun koo na keessatti gadditeerti; kanaafuu ani biyya Yordaanos irraa, fiixee Hermoonii fi Gaara Miizaarii irraa si yaadadha.
O God my on me being my it is bowed down there-fore I will remember you from [the] land of [the] Jordan and Hermon from mount Mizar.
7 Huursaa fincaaʼaa keetiitiin, tuujubni tuujuba waama; dambalii fi dhaʼaan kee hundinuu, narra yaaʼan.
Deep to deep [is] calling to [the] sound waterfalls your all breakers your and waves your over me they have passed.
8 Waaqayyo guyyaadhaan jaalala isaa kan hin geeddaramne ni ajaja; halkan immoo faarfannaan isaa na wajjin jira; kunis kadhannaa ani Waaqa jireenya kootii kadhadhuu dha.

9 Anis Waaqa Kattaa kootiin akkana nan jedha; “Ati maaliif na dagatte? Maaliif ani diinaan cunqurfamee gaddaan jiraadha?”

10 Amajaajonni koo guyyaa guutuu, “Waaqni kee eessa jira?” jedhanii natti qoosudhaan, akkuma goraadee lafee koo keessaatti na dhiphisu.

11 Yaa lubbuu ko, ati maaliif gaddita? Na keessattis maaliif raafamta? Abdii kee Waaqa irra kaaʼadhu; ani amma iyyuu isa nan galateeffadha; Fayyisaa koo fi Waaqa koo nan jajadha.
