1 Faarfannaa Daawit. Innis fuula Abiimelek duratti maraatuu of fakkeesseef Abiimelek isa ariinaan yeroo achii deemetti faarfate. Ani yeroo hunda Waaqayyoon nan eebbisa; galanni isaas yeroo hunda afaanii na hin buʼu.
To Dauid, whanne he chaungide his mouth bifor Abymalech, and he `droof out Dauid, `and he yede forth. I schal blesse the Lord in al tyme; euere his heriyng is in my mouth.
2 Lubbuun koo Waaqayyoon boonti; cunqurfamtoonni dhagaʼanii haa gammadan.
Mi soule schal be preisid in the Lord; mylde men here, and be glad.
3 Na wajjin Waaqayyoof ulfina kennaa; kottaa walii wajjin maqaa isaa ol kaafnaa.
Magnyfie ye the Lord with me; and enhaunse we his name into it silf.
4 Waaqayyoon nan barbaaddadhe; innis deebii naa kenne; sodaa koo hunda keessaas na baase.
I souyte the Lord, and he herde me; and he delyueride me fro alle my tribulaciouns.
5 Warri gara isaa ilaalan ni ifu; fuulli isaaniis yoom iyyuu hin qaanaʼu.
Neiye ye to him, and be ye liytned; and youre faces schulen not be schent.
6 Hiyyeessi kun ni iyye; Waaqayyos isa dhagaʼe; rakkina isaa hundumaa keessaas isa baase.
This pore man criede, and the Lord herde hym; and sauyde hym fro alle hise tribulaciouns.
7 Ergamaan Waaqayyoo naannoo warra Waaqa sodaatanii ni qubata; isaan ni oolchas.
The aungel of the Lord sendith in the cumpas of men dredynge hym; and he schal delyuere hem.
8 Akka Waaqayyo gaarii taʼe mee miʼeeffadhaa ilaalaa; namni isatti kooluu galu eebbifamaa dha.
Taaste ye, and se, for the Lord is swete; blessid is the man, that hopith in hym.
9 Isin qulqulloonni isaa Waaqayyoon sodaadhaa; warri isa sodaatan homaa hin dhabaniitii.
Alle ye hooli men of the Lord, drede hym; for no nedynesse is to men dredynge hym.
10 Leenci saafelli iyyuu waa ni dhaba; ni beelaʼas; namni Waaqayyoon barbaaddatu garuu waan gaarii tokko illee hin dhabu.
Riche men weren nedi, and weren hungri; but men that seken the Lord schulen not faile of al good.
11 Yaa ijoollee ko, kottaa na dhagaʼaa; anis Waaqayyoon sodaachuu isinan barsiisa.
Come, ye sones, here ye me; Y schal teche you the drede of the Lord.
12 Namni jireenya jaallatu, kan bara gaarii arguudhaafis bara baayʼee hawwu eenyu?
Who is a man, that wole lijf; loueth to se good daies?
13 Arraba kee waan hamaa irraa, afaan kees soba dubbachuu irraa eeggadhu.
Forbede thi tunge fro yuel; and thi lippis speke not gile.
14 Hammina irraa deebiʼi; gaarii hojjedhu; nagaa barbaadi; duukaa buʼis.
Turne thou awei fro yuel, and do good; seke thou pees, and perfitli sue thou it.
15 Iji Waaqayyoo qajeeltota irra jira; gurri isaas iyya isaaniitiif banamaa dha;
The iyen of the Lord ben on iust men; and hise eeren ben to her preiers.
16 yaadannoo isaanii lafa irraa balleessuudhaaf, fuulli Waaqayyoo warra hamaa hojjetanitti ni hammaata.
But the cheer of the Lord is on men doynge yuels; that he leese the mynde of hem fro erthe.
17 Qajeeltonni gargaarsaaf iyyatu; Waaqayyos isaan dhagaʼa. Rakkina isaanii hunda keessaas isaan baasa.
Just men cryeden, and the Lord herde hem; and delyueride hem fro alle her tribulaciouns.
18 Waaqayyo warra garaan isaanii cabetti dhiʼoo dha; warra abdii kutatanis ni fayyisa.
The Lord is nyy hem that ben of troblid herte; and he schal saue meke men in spirit.
19 Rakkinni nama qajeelaa baayʼee dha; Waaqayyo garuu hunda isaa jalaa isa baasa;
Many tribulaciouns ben of iust men; and the Lord schal delyuere hem fro alle these.
20 lafee isaa hunda ni eega; isaan keessaas tokko illee hin cabu.
The Lord kepith alle the boonys of hem; oon of tho schal not be brokun.
21 Hamoota hamminatu ajjeesa; warra nama qajeelaa jibbanitti ni murteeffama.
The deth of synneris is werst; and thei that haten a iust man schulen trespasse.
22 Waaqayyo lubbuu tajaajiltoota isaa ni fura; warra isatti kooluu galan keessaa tokkotti illee hin murteeffamu.
The Lord schal ayenbie the soulis of hise seruauntis; and alle, that hopen in him, schulen not trespasse.
