1 Warri jireenyi isaanii mudaa hin qabne, kanneen akka seera Waaqayyootti jiraattan eebbifamoo dha.
Alleluia. Blessed are the blameless in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Warri ajajawwan isaa eegan, kanneen garaa guutuun isa barbaadan eebbifamoo dha.
Blessed are they that search out his testimonies: they will diligently seek him with the whole heart.
3 Isaan balleessaa hin hojjetan; karaa isaa irras ni deemu.
For they that work iniquity have not walked in his ways.
4 Akka Seerri kee amanamummaadhaan eegamuuf ati ajajjeerta.
Thou hast commanded [us] diligently to keep thy precepts.
5 Akka ani ajaja kee eeguuf utuu karaan koo naa qajeelee jiraatee!
O that my ways were directed to keep thine ordinances.
6 Ani utuun ajajawwan kee hunda xiyyeeffadhee ilaalee silaa hin qaanaʼun ture.
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all thy commandments.
7 Ani yommuun seera kee qajeelaa sana baradhutti, garaa tolaadhaan sin galateeffadha.
I will give thee thanks with uprightness of heart, when I have learnt the judgments of thy righteousness.
8 Ani sirna keetiif nan bula; ati gonkumaa na hin dhiisin.
I will keep thine ordinances: O forsake me not greatly.
9 Dargaggeessi akkamitti jireenya qulqulluu jiraachuu dandaʼa? Akka dubbii keetiitti jiraachuudhaan.
Wherewith shall a young man direct his way? by keeping thy words.
10 Ani garaa koo guutuudhaan sin barbaada; akka ani ajajawwan kee irraa jalʼadhu na hin godhin.
With my whole heart have I diligently sought thee: cast me not away from thy commandments.
11 Ani akkan cubbuu sitti hin hojjenneef, dubbii kee garaa koo keessa dhokfadheera.
I have hidden thine oracles in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 Yaa Waaqayyo, galanni siif haa taʼu; sirna kee na barsiisi.
Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thine ordinances.
13 Ani seera afaan keetii baʼu hundumaa, afaan kootiin nan dubbadha.
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 Akkuma namni tokko badhaadhummaa guddaatti gammadu, ani ajaja kee faana buʼuutti nan gammada.
I have delighted in the way of thy testimonies, [as much] as in all riches.
15 Ajajawwan kee irra deddeebiʼee nan yaada; karaa kee irraas ija koo hin buqqifadhu.
I will meditate on thy commandments, and consider thy ways.
16 Ani sirna keetti nan gammada; dubbii kees hin dagadhu.
I will meditate on thine ordinances: I will not forget thy words.
17 Akka ani jiraadhuu fi dubbii kee eeguuf, garbicha keetiif waan gaarii godhi.
Render a recompense to thy servant: [so] shall I live, and keep thy words.
18 Akka ani seera kee keessatti waan dinqisiisaa arguuf, ija koo naa bani.
Unveil thou mine eyes, and I shall perceive wondrous things of thy law.
19 Ani lafa irratti keessummaa dha; ajajawwan kee na duraa hin dhoksin.
I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
20 Lubbuun koo yeroo hunda seera kee hawwuudhaan, laafaa jirti.
My soul has longed exceedingly for thy judgments at all times.
21 Ati of tuultota warra abaaramoo, kanneen ajajawwan kee irraa jalʼatan ni ifatta.
Thou has rebuked the proud: cursed are they that turn aside from thy commandments.
22 Waan ani seera kee eeguuf, arrabsoo fi tuffii isaanii narraa fageessi.
Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have sought out thy testimonies.
23 Bulchitoonni walii wajjin taaʼanii yoo maqaa na balleessan iyyuu, tajaajilaan kee irra deddeebiʼee labsii kee ni yaada.
For princes sat and spoke against me: but thy servant was meditating on thine ordinances.
24 Ajajni kee gammachuu koo ti; gorsituu kootis.
For thy testimonies are my (meditation) and thine ordinances are my counsellors.
25 Lubbuun koo biyyootti maxxante; ati akkuma dubbii keetiitti na oolchi.
My soul has cleaved to the ground; quicken thou me according to thy word.
26 Yeroo ani waaʼee karaa koo sitti himetti, ati deebii naa kennite; sirna kees na barsiisi.
I declared my ways, and thou didst hear me: teach me thine ordinances.
27 Barsiisa seera keetii na hubachiisi; anis irra deddeebiʼee dinqii kee nan yaada.
Instruct me in the way of thine ordinances; and I will meditate on thy wondrous works.
28 Lubbuun koo gaddaan laafteerti; ati akkuma dubbii keetiitti na jabeessi.
My soul has slumbered for sorrow; strengthen thou me with thy words.
29 Karaa sobaa irraa na fageessi; arjumaadhaanis seera kee na barsiisi.
Remove from me the way of iniquity; and be merciful to me by thy law.
30 Ani karaa dhugaa filadheera; seera kees of dura kaaʼadheera.
I have chosen the way of truth; and have not forgotten thy judgments.
31 Yaa Waaqayyo, ani ajaja kee jabeessee qabadheera; ati na hin qaanessin.
I have cleaved to thy testimonies, O Lord; put me not to shame.
32 Sababii ati hubannaa koo naa balʼifteef ani daandii ajajawwan keetii irra nan fiiga.
I ran the way of thy commandments, when thou didst enlarge my heart.
33 Yaa Waaqayyo, akka ani sirna kee duukaa buʼu na barsiisi; anis hamma dhumaatti isa nan eega.
Teach me, O Lord, the way of thine ordinances, and I will seek it out continually.
34 Akka ani seera kee eegee garaa koo guutuun isaaf ajajamuuf hubannaa naa kenni.
Instruct me, and I will search out thy law, and will keep it with my whole heart.
35 Daandii ajajawwan keetii irra na deemsisi; anis achitti gammachuu nan argadhaatii.
Guide me in the path of thy commandments; for I have delighted in it.
36 Garaa koo gara ofittummaadhaan faayidaa argachuutti utuu hin taʼin, gara sirna keetiitti naa deebisi.
Incline mine heart to thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
37 Ija koo waan faayidaa hin qabne irraa deebisi; akkuma dubbii keetiittis na jiraachisi.
Turn away mine eyes that I may not behold vanity: quicken thou me in thy way.
38 Ati akka sodaatamtuuf, waadaa kee garbicha keetiif guuti.
Confirm thine oracle to thy servant, that he may fear thee.
39 Salphina ani sodaadhu narraa fageessi; seerri kee gaariidhaatii.
Take away my reproach which I have feared: for thy judgments are good.
40 Kunoo, ani sirna kee nan hawwa; qajeelummaa keetiin na jiraachisi.
Behold, I have desired thy commandments: quicken me in thy righteousness.
41 Yaa Waaqayyo, jaalalli kee kan hin geeddaramne sun, fayyisuun kees akkuma dubbii keetiitti gara koo haa dhufu;
And let thy mercy come upon me, O Lord; [even] thy salvation, according to thy word.
42 yoos ani sababii dubbii kee amanadhuuf, warra na arrabsaniif deebii kenna.
And [so] I shall render an answer to them that reproach me: for I have trusted in thy words.
43 Waan ani seera kee abdadheef, ati dubbii dhugaa afaan koo keessaa hin balleessin.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments. So shall I keep thy law continually, for ever and ever.
44 Bara baraa hamma bara baraatti, ani yeroo hunda seera kee nan eega.
45 Ani ajaja kee waanan barbaaduuf, bilisummaadhaan nan deddeebiʼa.
I walked also at large: for I sought out thy commandments.
46 Ani waaʼee ajaja keetii mootota duratti nan dubbadha; hin qaaneffamus;
And I spoke of thy testimonies before kings, and was not ashamed.
47 waan ani ajajawwan kee jaalladhuuf, isaanitti nan gammada.
And I meditated on thy commandments, which I loved exceedingly.
48 Ani gara ajajawwan kee kanneen ani jaalladhu sanaatti harka koo ol nan fudhadha; labsii kees irra deddeebiʼee nan yaada.
And I lifted up my hands to thy commandments which I loved; and I meditated in thine ordinances.
49 Waadaa tajaajilaa keetiif seente sana yaadadhu; ati isumaan abdii naa kenniteertaatii.
Remember thy words to thy servant, wherein thou hast made me hope.
50 Rakkina koo keessatti jajjabinni koo kana: Waadaan kee na jiraachisa.
This has comforted me in mine affliction: for thine oracle has quickened me.
51 Of tuultonni akkuma barbaadanitti natti qoosu; ani garuu seera kee irraa hin jalʼadhu.
The proud have transgressed exceedingly; but I swerved not from thy law.
52 Yaa Waaqayyo, ani seera kee durii sana nan yaadadha; isa keessattis jajjabina nan argadha.
I remembered thy judgments of old, O Lord; and was comforted.
53 Sababii hamoota warra seera kee dhiisaniitiif, aariin na gugguba.
Despair took hold upon me, because of the sinners who forsake thy law.
54 Iddoo keessummummaa koo hundatti seerri kee faarfannaa koo ti.
Thine ordinances were my songs in the place of my sojourning.
55 Yaa Waaqayyo, ani halkan keessa maqaa kee nan yaadadha; seera kees nan eega.
I remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and kept thy law.
56 Waan ani ajaja kee eegeef, kun naaf taʼeera.
This I had, because I diligently sought thine ordinances.
57 Yaa Waaqayyo, ati qooda koo ti; anis dubbii keetiif ajajamuuf waadaa galeera.
Thou art my portion, O Lord: I said that I would keep thy law.
58 Ani garaa koo guutuun fuula kee barbaaddadheera; ati akkuma waadaa keetiitti naa araarami.
I besought thy favour with my whole heart: have mercy upon me according to thy word.
59 Ani karaa koo itti deddeebiʼee yaadeera; tarkaanfii koo gara sirna keetiitti deebiseera.
I thought on thy ways, and turned my feet to thy testimonies.
60 Ani ajajawwan kee eeguuf, nan ariifadha; hin barfadhus.
I prepared myself, (and was not terrified, ) to keep thy commandments.
61 Hamoonni yoo funyoodhaan na hidhan iyyuu, ani seera kee hin irraanfadhu.
The snares of sinners entangled me: but I forgot not thy law.
62 Sababii seera kee qajeelaa sanaatiif, ani si galateeffachuuf jedhee halkan walakkaa nan kaʼa.
At midnight I arose, to give thanks to thee for the judgments of thy righteousness.
63 Ani warra si sodaatan hundaaf, warra ajaja kee eegan hundaafis michuu dha.
I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy commandments.
64 Yaa Waaqayyo, lafti jaalala keetiin guutamteerti; sirna kee na barsiisi.
O Lord, the earth is full of thy mercy: teach me thine ordinances.
65 Yaa Waaqayyo, ati akkuma dubbii keetiitti, tajaajilaa keetiif waan gaarii gooteerta.
Thou hast wrought kindly with thy servant, o Lord, according to thy word.
66 Murtii gaarii fi beekumsa na barsiisi; ani ajajawwan keetti nan amanaatii.
Teach me kindness, and instruction, and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
67 Ani utuun hin rakkatin karaa irraa badee ture; amma garuu dubbii kee nan eega.
Before I was afflicted, I transgressed; therefore have I kept thy word.
68 Ati gaarii dha; wanni ati hojjettus gaarii dha; sirna kee na barsiisi.
Good art thou, O Lord; therefore in thy goodness teach me thine ordinances.
69 Of tuultonni yoo sobaan maqaa na balleessan iyyuu, ani garaa koo guutuudhaan seera kee nan eega.
The injustice of the proud has been multiplied against me: but I will search out thy commandments with all my heart.
70 Onneen isaanii mooraan haguugamteerti; ani garuu seera keetti nan gammada.
Their heart has been curdled like milk; but I have meditated on thy law.
71 Akka ani sirna kee baradhuuf, rakkachuun koo anaaf gaarii ture.
[It is] good for me that thou hast afflicted me; that I might learn thine ordinances.
72 Meetii fi warqee kumaatama irra, seeri afaan keetii baʼu anaaf gaariidha.
The law of thy mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Harki kee na uume; na tolches; akka ani ajaja kee baradhuuf ati hubannaa naa kenni.
Thy hands have made me, and fashioned me: instruct me, that I may learn thy commandments.
74 Sababii ani dubbii kee abdadheef, warri si sodaatan yommuu na arganitti haa gammadan.
They that fear thee will see me and rejoice: for I have hoped in thy words.
75 Yaa Waaqayyo, ani akka murtiin kee qajeelaa taʼe, akka atis amanamummaadhaan na dhiphiste beeka.
I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are righteousness, and [that] thou in truthfulness hast afflicted me.
76 Akkuma ati tajaajilaa keetiif waadaa galte sanatti, jaalalli kee kan hin geeddaramne sun na haa jajjabeessu.
Let, I pray thee, thy mercy be to comfort me, according to thy word to thy servant.
77 Akka ani lubbuun jiraadhuuf gara laafinni kee gara koo haa dhufu; seerri kee gammachuu kootii.
Let thy compassions come to me, that I may live: for thy law is my (meditation)
78 Of tuultonni waan sababii malee na yakkaniif haa qaanaʼan; ani garuu irra deddeebiʼee seera kee nan yaada.
Let the proud be ashamed; for they transgressed against me unjustly: but I will meditate in thy commandments.
79 Warri si sodaatan, kanneen seera kee hubatan gara kootti haa deebiʼan.
Let those that fear thee, and those that know thy testimonies, turn to me.
80 Akka ani hin qaanofneef garaan koo seera kee duratti hanqina hin qabaatin.
Let mine heart be blameless in thine ordinances, that I may not be ashamed.
81 Lubbuun koo fayyisuu kee hawwuudhaan gaggabdi; ani garuu dubbii kee nan abdadha.
My soul faints for thy salvation: I have hoped in thy words.
82 Iji koo waadaa kee eeggachuudhaan dadhabe; anis, “Ati yoom na jajjabeessita?” nan jedha.
Mine eyes failed [in waiting] for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
83 Qalqalloo wayinii kan aara keessa ture fakkaadhus ani ajaja kee hin irraanfadhu.
For I am become as a bottle in the frost: [yet] I have not forgotten thine ordinances.
84 Tajaajilaan kee hamma yoomiitti obsuu qaba? Ati warra na ariʼatanitti yoom murta?
How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment for me on them that persecute me?
85 Of tuultonni warri akka seera keetiitti hin bulle, boolla naa qotaniiru.
Transgressors told me [idle tales]; but not according to thy law, O Lord.
86 Ajajawwan kee hundinuu amanamoo dha; namoonni sababii malee waan na ariʼataniif ati na gargaari.
All thy commandments are truth; they persecuted me unjustly; help thou me.
87 Isaan lafa irraa na balleessuu gaʼanii turan; ani garuu sirna kee hin dhiifne.
They nearly made an end of me in the earth; but I forsook not thy commandments.
88 Ati akkuma jaalala keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari; anis seera afaan keetii baʼu nan eega.
Quicken me according to thy mercy; so shall I keep the testimonies of thy mouth.
89 Yaa Waaqayyo, dubbiin kee bara baraan jiraata; samii keessas jabaatee ni dhaabata.
Thy word, O Lord, abides in heaven for ever.
90 Amanamummaan kee dhaloota hundaaf itti fufa; ati lafa hundeessite; isheenis ni jiraatti.
Thy truth [endures] to all generations; thou hast founded the earth, and it abides.
91 Sababii wanni hundinuu si tajaajiluuf, seerri kee hamma harʼaatti jiraateera.
The day continues by thy arrangement; for all things are thy servants.
92 Utuu seerri kee gammachuu naa taʼuu baatee, ani silaa rakkina kootiin badeen ture.
Were it not that thy law is my (meditation) then I should have perished in mine affliction.
93 Sababii ati isaan na jiraachifteef, ani gonkumaa ajaja kee hin irraanfadhu.
I will never forget thine ordinances; for with them thou hast quickened me.
94 Sababii ani kan kee taʼeef na fayyisi; anis sirna kee barbaadeera.
I am thine, save me; for I have sought out thine ordinances.
95 Hamoonni na balleessuuf na eeggachaa jiru; ani garuu irra deddeebiʼee seera kee nan yaada.
Sinners laid wait for me to destroy me; [but] I understood thy testimonies.
96 Ani akka wanni mudaa hin qabnee hundinuu daangaa qabu argeera; ajajni kee garuu baayʼee balʼaa dha.
have seen an end of all perfection; [but] thy commandment is very broad.
97 Ani seera kee akkaman jaalladha! Guyyaa guutuu irra deddeebiʼee waaʼee isaa nan yaada.
How I have loved thy law, O Lord! it is my meditation all the day.
98 Ajajawwan kee waan yeroo hunda na wajjin jiraniif, diinota koo caalaa ogeessa na godhan.
Thou hast made me wiser than mine enemies [in] thy commandment; for it is mine for ever.
99 Ani sababiin irra deddeebiʼee seera kee yaaduuf, barsiisota koo hundumaa caalaa hubannaa qaba.
I have more understanding than all my teachers; for thy testimonies are my medication.
100 Ani sababiin ajaja kee eeguuf, maanguddoota caalaa hubannaa guddaan qaba.
I understand more that the aged; because I have sought out thy commandments.
101 Ani akkan dubbii kee eeguuf, karaa hamaa hunda irraa miilla koo adabadheera.
I have kept back my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy words.
102 Waan ati mataan kee na barsiifteef, ani seera kee irraa hin fagaanne.
I have not declined from thy judgments; for thou hast instructed me.
103 Dubbiin kee akkam arraba kootti miʼaawa; nadhii dammaa caalaa afaan kootti miʼaawa!
How sweet are thine oracles to my throat! more so than honey to my mouth!
104 Ani qajeelfama kee irraa hubannaa argadheera; kanaafuu daandii sobaa hunda nan jibba.
I gain understanding by thy commandments: therefore I have hated every way of unrighteousness.
105 Dubbiin kee miilla kootiif ibsaa dha; daandii kootiif immoo ifa.
Thy law is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my paths.
106 Ani akkan seera kee qajeelaa sana eeguuf, kakadheera; kanas mirkaneesseera.
I have sworn and determined to keep the judgments of thy righteousness.
107 Ani akka malee dhiphadheen jira; yaa Waaqayyo, ati akkuma dubbii keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari.
I have been very greatly afflicted, O Lord: quicken me, according to thy word.
108 Yaa Waaqayyo, galata fedhiidhaan afaan kootii baʼu fudhadhu; seera kees na barsiisi.
Accept, I pray thee, O Lord, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, and teach me thy judgments.
109 Jireenyi koo yeroo hunda harka koo keessa jiraatu iyyuu, ani seera kee hin irraanfadhu.
My soul is continually in thine hands; and I have not forgotten thy law.
110 Hamoonni kiyyoo naa kaaʼaniiru; ani garuu ajaja kee irraa hin jalʼanne.
Sinners spread a snare for me; but I erred not from thy commandments.
111 Seerri kee dhaala koo kan bara baraa ti; gammachuu garaa kootiitis.
I have inherited thy testimonies for ever; for they are the joy of my heart.
112 Garaan koo hamma dhumaatti ajaja kee eeguuf kutateera.
I have inclined my heart to perform thine ordinances for ever, in return [for thy mercies].
113 Ani nama yaada lamaa nan jibba; seera kee garuu nan jaalladha.
I have hated transgressors; but I have loved thy law.
114 Ati iddoo ani itti baqadhuu fi gaachana koo ti; ani dubbii kee abdadheera.
Thou art my helper and my supporter; I have hoped in thy words.
115 Akka ani ajajawwan Waaqa koo eeguuf, isin warri waan hamaa hojjettan narraa fagaadhaa!
Depart from me, ye evil-doers; for I will search out the commandments of my God.
116 Ati akkuma waadaa keetiitti na deeggari; anis nan jiraadha; akka ani abdii kootti qaanaʼu na hin godhin.
Uphold me according to thy word, and quicken me; and make me not ashamed of my expectation.
117 Akka ani nagaadhaan jiraadhuuf na deeggari; yeroo hunda seera kee nan kabaja.
Help me, and I shall be saved; and I will meditate in thine ordinances continually.
118 Sababii gowwoomsaan isaanii faayidaa hin qabneef; ati warra seera kee irraa jalʼatan hunda tuffattee gatta.
Thou hast brought to nought all that depart from thine ordinances; for their inward thought is unrighteous.
119 Ati hamoota lafa irraa hunda akka kosiitti gatta; kanaafuu ani seera kee nan jaalladha.
I have reckoned all the sinners of the earth as transgressors; therefore have I loved thy testimonies.
120 Foon koo si sodaachuudhaan hollata; anis murtii kee nan sodaadha.
Penetrate my flesh with thy fear; for I am afraid of thy judgments.
121 Ani waan qajeelaa fi tolaa hojjedheera; ati warra na hacuucanitti dabarsitee na hin kennin.
I have done judgment and justice; deliver me not up to them that injure me.
122 Nagaan jiraachuu tajaajilaa keetii mirkaneessi; akka of tuultonni na cunqursanis hin eeyyamin.
Receive thy servant for good: let not the proud accuse me falsely.
123 Iji koo fayyisuu kee eeguudhaan, waadaa kee qajeelaas eeguudhaanis dadhabeera.
Mine eyes have failed for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
124 Akkuma jaalala keetiitti tajaajilaa kee yaadadhu; seera kees na barsiisi.
Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, and teach me thine ordinances.
125 Ani tajaajilaa kee ti; akka ani ajaja kee beekuuf hubannaa naa kenni.
I am thy servant; instruct me, and I shall know thy testimonies.
126 Yaa Waaqayyo, kun yeroo ati itti hojjettuu dha; seerri kee cabsamaa jiraatii.
[It is] time for the Lord to work: they have utterly broken thy law.
127 Kanaafuu ani warqee caalaa, warqee qulqulluu caalaa, ajajawwan kee nan jaalladha;
Therefore have I loved thy commandments more than gold, or the topaz.
128 ani akka seerri kee hundi qajeelaa taʼe nan amana; daandii sobaa hundas nan jibba.
Therefore I directed myself [according] to all thy commandments: I have hated every unjust way.
129 Sirni kee dinqisiisaa dha; kanaafuu ani isa nan eega.
Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore my soul has sought them out.
130 Ibsamuun dubbii keetii ifa kenna; wallaalotaafis hubannaa kenna.
The manifestation of thy words will enlighten, and instruct the simple.
131 Ani ajajawwan kee hawwuudhaan afaan koo banee nan hargana.
I opened my mouth, and drew breath: for I earnestly longed after thy commandments.
132 Ati akkuma yeroo hunda warra maqaa kee jaalataniif gootu sana, gara kootti garagalii na maari.
Look upon me and have mercy upon me, after the manner of them that love thy name.
133 Akkuma dubbii keetiitti tarkaanfii miilla kootii naa qajeelchi; cubbuun tokko iyyuu narratti hin moʼin.
Order my steps according to thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Akka ani ajaja kee eeguuf hacuuccaa namootaa jalaa na furi.
Deliver me from the false accusation of men: so will I keep thy commandments.
135 Akka fuulli kee tajaajilaa kee irratti ifu godhi; sirna kees na barsiisi.
Cause thy face to shine upon thy servant: and teach me thine ordinances.
136 Sababii namoonni seerra kee hin eegneef, iji koo imimmaan lolaasa.
Mine eyes have been bathed in streams of water, because I kept not thy law.
137 Yaa Waaqayyo, ati qajeelaa dha; murtiin kees qajeelaa dha.
Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy judgments.
138 Seerri ati kennite qajeelaa dha; guutummaattis amanamaa dha.
Thou has commanded righteousness and perfect truth, [as] thy testimonies.
139 Sababii diinonni koo dubbii kee dagataniif, hinaaffaan ani qabu na guggubeera.
Thy zeal has quite wasted me: because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.
140 Waadaan kee sirriitti qoramee ilaalameera; tajaajilaan kees isa jaallata.
Thy word [has been] very fully tried; and thy servant loves it.
141 Xinnaadhee tuffatamu iyyuu, ani ajaja kee hin irraanfadhu.
I am young and despised: [yet] I have not forgotten thine ordinances.
142 Qajeelummaan kee bara baraan jiraata; seerri kees dhugaa dha.
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is truth.
143 Rakkinnii fi dhiphinni natti dhufeera; ajajawwan kee garuu gammachuu koo ti.
Afflictions and distresses found me: [but] thy commandments [were] my (meditation)
144 Seerri kee bara baraan qajeelaa dha; akka ani jiraadhuuf hubannaa naa kenni.
Thy testimonies [are] an everlasting righteousness: instruct me, and I shall live.
145 Yaa Waaqayyo, ani garaa koo guutuudhaan sin waammadha; deebii naa kenni; anis sirna keetiif nan ajajama.
I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord: I will search out thine ordinances.
146 Ani sittin iyyadha; ati na fayyisi; seera kees nan eega.
I cried to thee; save me, and I will keep thy testimonies.
147 Ani utuu lafti hin bariʼin kaʼee gargaarsaaf nan iyyadha; ani dubbii kee abdadheera.
I arose before the dawn, and cried: I hoped in thy words.
148 Akka ani irra deddeebiʼee waadaa kee yaaduuf, iji koo halkan guutuu banamee bula.
Mine eyes prevented the dawn, that I might meditate on thine oracles.
149 Akkuma jaalala keetiitti sagalee koo dhagaʼi; Yaa Waaqayyo, akkuma seera keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari.
Hear my voice, O Lord, according to thy mercy; quicken me according to thy judgment.
150 Warri daba mariʼatan as dhiʼoo jiru; seera kee irraa garuu fagoo jiru.
They have drawn nigh who persecuted me unlawfully; and they are far removed from thy law.
151 Yaa Waaqayyo, ati garuu dhiʼoo jirta; ajajawwan kee hundis dhugaa dha.
Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy ways are truth.
152 Akka ati ajajawwan kee bara baraan hundeessite, ani seera kee irraa dur baradheera.
I have known of old concerning thy testimonies, that thou hast founded them for ever.
153 Dhiphina koo argiitii na oolchi; ani seera kee hin daganneetii.
Look upon mine affliction, and rescue me; for I have not forgotten thy law.
154 Dubbii koo naa falmi; na furis; akkuma waadaa keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari.
Plead my cause, and ransom me: quicken me because of thy word.
155 Sababii isaan sirna kee hin barbaanneef, fayyinni hamoota irraa fagaateera.
Salvation is far from sinners: for they have not searched out thine ordinances.
156 Yaa Waaqayyo, gara laafinni kee guddaa dha; akkuma seera keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari.
Thy mercies, O Lord, are many: quicken me according to thy judgment.
157 Diinonni koo warri na ariʼatan baayʼee dha; ani garuu seera kee irraa hin jalʼanne.
Many are they that persecute me and oppress me: [but] I have not declined from thy testimonies.
158 Sababii isaan dubbii keetiif hin ajajamneef, ani warra amantii hin qabne ija jibbaatiin nan ilaala.
I beheld men acting foolishly, and I pined away; for they kept not thine oracles.
159 Akkam akka ani qajeelfama kee jaalladhu mee ilaali; Yaa Waaqayyo, akkuma jaalala keetiitti lubbuu koo baraari.
Behold, I have loved thy commandments, O Lord: quicken me in thy mercy.
160 Dubbiin kee hundinuu dhugaa dha; seerri kee qajeelaan hundinuus bara baraan jiraata.
The beginning of thy words is truth; and all the judgments of thy righteousness [endure] for ever.
161 Bulchitoonni sababii malee na ariʼatan; garaan koo garuu dubbii kee sodaachuudhaan hollata.
Princes persecuted me without a cause, but my heart feared because of thy words.
162 Ani akka nama boojuu guddaa argate tokkootti, dubbii keetti nan gammada.
I will exult because of thine oracles, as one that finds much spoil.
163 Ani soba nan jibba; nan xireeffadhas; seera kee garuu nan jaalladha.
I hate and abhor unrighteousness; but I love thy law.
164 Sababii seera kee qajeelaa sanaatiif, ani guyyaatti yeroo torba sin galateeffadha.
Seven times in a day have I praised thee because of the judgments of thy righteousness.
165 Warri seera kee jaallatan nagaa guddaa qabu; wanni isaan gufachiisu tokko iyyuu hin jiru.
Great peace have they that love thy law: and there is no stumbling-block to them.
166 Yaa Waaqayyo, ani fayyisuu kee nan abdadha; ajaja kee duukaas nan buʼa.
I waited for thy salvation, O Lord, and have loved thy commandments.
167 Ani waanan guddaa isa jaalladhuuf, ajaja kee nan eega.
My soul has kept thy testimonies, and loved them exceedingly.
168 Ati karaa koo hunda waan beektuuf, ani sirna keetii fi seera kee nan eega.
I have kept thy commandments and thy testimonies; for all my ways are before thee, O Lord.
169 Yaa Waaqayyo, iyyi koo fuula kee dura haa gaʼu; ati akkuma dubbii keetiitti hubannaa naa kenni.
Let my supplication come near before thee, o Lord; instruct me according to thine oracle.
170 Waammanni koo fuula kee dura haa gaʼu; akkuma waadaa keetiitti na baasi.
Let my petition come in before thee, O Lord; deliver me according to thine oracle.
171 Sababii ati qajeelfama kee na barsiiftuuf, hidhiin koo galata haa dhangalaasu.
Let my lips utter a hymn, when thou shalt have taught me thine ordinances.
172 Arrabni koo dubbii kee haa faarfatu; ajajni kee hundi qajeelaadhaatii.
Let my tongue utter thine oracles; for all thy commandments are righteous.
173 Waan ani sirna kee filadheef, harki kee na gargaaruuf haa qophaaʼu.
Let thine hand be [prompt] to save me; for I have chosen thy commandments.
174 Yaa Waaqayyo, ani fayyisuu kee nan hawwa; seerri kees gammachuu koo ti.
I have longed after thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my (meditation)
175 Lubbuun koo si galateeffachuuf haa jiraattu; seerri kees na haa gargaaru.
My soul shall live, and shall praise thee; and thy judgments shall help me.
176 Ani akkuma hoolaa badee karaa irraa jalʼadheera. Ani ajajawwan kee hin irraanfanneetii, tajaajilaa kee barbaadi.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I have not forgotten thy commandments.
