1 Yaa lubbuu ko, Waaqayyoon eebbisi. Yaa Waaqayyo, Waaqa ko, ati akka malee guddaa dha; miidhaginaa fi surraa uffatteerta.
Mi soule, blesse thou the Lord; my Lord God, thou art magnyfied greetli. Thou hast clothid knouleching and fairnesse; and thou art clothid with liyt,
2 Ati akkuma wayyaa ifa uffatta; samiiwwanis akkuma dunkaanaa diriirsita.
as with a cloth. And thou stretchist forth heuene as a skyn;
3 Dareeraa diinqa isaa bishaanota irra buufta. Duumessoota gaarii isaa godhata; qoochoo bubbee yaabbattee deema.
and thou hilist with watris the hiyer partis therof. Which settist a cloude thi stiyng; which goest on the fetheris of wyndis.
4 Inni ergamoota isaa hafuurota, tajaajiltoota isaa immoo arraba ibiddaa godha.
Which makist spiritis thin aungels; and thi mynystris brennynge fier.
5 Inni lafa hundee ishee irra dhaabeera; isheenis gonkumaa hin sochootu.
Which hast foundid the erthe on his stablenesse; it schal not be bowid in to the world of world.
6 Ati akkuma wayyaatti tuujubaan ishee haguugde; bishaanonnis tulluuwwanii ol dhaabatan.
The depthe of watris as a cloth is the clothing therof; watris schulen stonde on hillis.
7 Ati ifannaan bishaanonni baqatan; sagalee qaqawwee keetii dhageenyaan gugatan.
Tho schulen fle fro thi blamyng; men schulen be aferd of the vois of thi thundur.
8 Isaan tulluuwwan irraan dhangalaʼan; gara iddoo ati isaanii qopheessitee, gara sululootaatti gad yaaʼan.

9 Akka isaan deebiʼanii lafa hin haguugneef ati daarii isaan darbuu hin dandeenye isaan dura dhaabde.

10 Akka burqaawwan sululoota keessa yaaʼan goota; isaanis tulluuwwan gidduu yaaʼu.
And thou sendist out wellis in grete valeis; watris schulen passe bitwix the myddil of hillis.
11 Isaan bineensota bakkee hundaaf bishaan kennu; harroonni diidaas dheebuu baʼu.
Alle the beestis of the feeld schulen drynke; wielde assis schulen abide in her thirst.
12 Simbirroonni samii bishaanota biratti mandhee ijaarratan; dameewwan gidduutti ni faarfatan.

13 Inni mana isaa kan olii irraa tulluuwwan bishaan obaafta; laftis ija hojii keetiitiin quufti.
And thou moistist hillis of her hiyer thingis; the erthe schal be fillid of the fruyt of thi werkis.
14 Inni lafa irraa nyaata kennuuf jedhee looniif marga, faayidaa namaatiif immoo biqiltuuwwan biqilcha;
And thou bringist forth hei to beestis; and eerbe to the seruyce of men. That thou bringe forth breed of the erthe;
15 akka daadhiin wayinii garaa nama gammachiisu, akka zayitiin fuula nama cululuqsuu fi akka midhaan nama jajjabeessu ni goota.
and that wiyn make glad the herte of men. That he make glad the face with oile; and that breed make stidefast the herte of man.
16 Mukkeen Waaqayyoo, birbirsi Libaanoon kan inni dhaabe sun bishaan quufaniiru.
The trees of the feeld schulen be fillid, and the cedris of the Liban, whiche he plauntide;
17 Simbirroonni achitti mandhee isaanii ijaarratu; huummoonis birbirsa irraa mana qabdi.

18 Tulluuwwan dhedheeroon daʼoo reʼee diidaa ti; holqi kattaawwanii immoo daʼoo osolee ti.

19 Inni akka jiʼi waqtiilee gargar qoodu godha; biiftuunis yeroo itti lixxu ni beekti.

Liouns whelpis rorynge for to rauysche; and to seke of God meete to hem silf.
22 Isaan yommuu biiftuun baatutti walitti qabamu; dachaʼaniis goda isaanii keessa ciciisu.
The sunne is risun, and tho ben gaderid togidere; and tho schulen be set in her couchis.
23 Namni gara hojii isaatti, hamma galgalaattis gara jiruu isaatti ni baʼa.
A man schal go out to his werk; and to his worching, til to the euentid.
24 Yaa Waaqayyo, hojiin kee akkam baayʼee dha! Ati hunda isaanii ogummaadhaan hojjette; laftis uumamawwan keetiin guutamte.
Lord, thi werkis ben magnefiede ful myche, thou hast maad alle thingis in wisdom; the erthe is fillid with thi possessioun.
25 Galaanni guddaa fi balʼaan kun, uumamawwan hamma hin qabneen guutame; kan lubbuu qabeeyyiin gurguddaa fi xixinnoon keessa jiraatan kuunnoo jira.
This see is greet and large to hondis; there ben crepinge beestis, of which is noon noumbre. Litil beestis with grete;
26 Dooniiwwan as irra deddeebiʼu; lewaataan kan akka inni achi keessa taphatuuf ati uumtes achi jira.
schippis schulen passe there. This dragoun which thou hast formyd; for to scorne hym.
27 Akka ati nyaata isaanii yeroo barbaachisuutti isaaniif kennituuf, isaan hundi si eeggatu.
Alle thingis abiden of thee; that thou yyue to hem meete in tyme.
28 Yeroo ati isaaniif kennitutti, isaan walitti qabatu; yeroo ati harka kee balʼiftutti, isaan waan gaarii quufu.
Whanne thou schalt yyue to hem, thei schulen gadere; whanne thou schalt opene thin hond, alle thingis schulen be fillid with goodnesse.
29 Yeroo ati fuula kee dhokfattutti, isaan ni naʼu; yeroo ati hafuura isaanii fudhattutti, isaan duʼanii biyyootti deebiʼu.
But whanne thou schalt turne awey the face, thei schulen be disturblid; thou schalt take awei the spirit of them, and thei schulen faile; and thei schulen turne ayen in to her dust.
30 Yeroo ati Hafuura kee ergitutti isaan ni uumamu; atis fuula lafaa ni haaromsita.
Sende out thi spirit, and thei schulen be formed of the newe; and thou schalt renule the face of the erthe.
31 Ulfinni Waaqayyoo bara baraan haa jiraatu; Waaqayyo hojii isaatti haa gammadu;
The glorie of the Lord be in to the world; the Lord schal be glad in hise werkis.
32 inni ilaallaan lafti hollatte; inni tuqnaan tulluuwwan keessaa aarrii baʼe.
Which biholdith the erthe, and makith it to tremble; which touchith hillis, and tho smoken.
33 Bara jireenya koo guutuu ani Waaqayyoof nan faarfadha; hamma lubbuun koo jirtuttis faarfannaadhaan Waaqa koo nan galateeffadha.
I schal singe to the Lord in my lijf; Y schal seie salm to my God, as longe as Y am.
34 Irra deddeebiʼee yaaduun koo isa haa gammachiisu; ani Waaqayyotti nan gammadaatii.
Mi speche be myrie to him; forsothe Y schal delite in the Lord.
35 Cubbamoonni lafa irraa haa badan; hamoonnis siʼachi hin jiraatin. Yaa lubbuu koo Waaqayyoon eebbisi. Haalleluuyaa.
Synneris faile fro the erthe, and wickid men faile, so that thei be not; my soule, blesse thou the Lord.
