Fiiliphisiyuus 4
1 Kanaafuu yaa obboloota ko, isin warri ani jaalladhuu fi warri ani yaadu, warri gammachuu kootii fi gonfoo koos taatan, yaa michoota ko, akkanatti Gooftaatti jabaadhaa dhaabadhaa!
Therefore, my dearly beloved brethren, and most desired, my joy and my crown; so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
2 Ani akka isaan Gooftaadhaan yaada tokko qabaataniif Ewoodiyaanin nan kadhadha; Sinxiikeenis nan kadhadha.
I beg of Evodia, and I beseech Syntyche, to be of one mind in the Lord.
3 Yaa hidhata dhugaa, dubartoonni kunneen Qaleeminxoosii fi warra na wajjin hojjetan kanneen maqaan isaanii kitaaba jireenyaa keessatti barreeffame kaan wajjin waan hojii wangeelaa keessatti na wajjin dadhabaniif akka ati isaan gargaartuuf sin kadhadha.
And I entreat thee also, my sincere companion, help those women who have laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement and the rest of my fellow labourers, whose names are in the book of life.
4 Isin yeroo hunda Gooftaatti gammadaa. Ammas ani irra deebiʼee nan jedha, gammadaa!
Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I say, rejoice.
5 Garraamummaan keessan nama hundumaa biratti haa beekamu. Gooftaan dhiʼoo jira.
Let your modesty be known to all men. The Lord is nigh.
6 Waan hundumaa keessatti Waaqa kadhachuu fi waammataan, galata wajjinis gaaffii keessan Waaqatti dhiʼeeffadhaa malee waan tokko illee hin yaaddaʼinaa.
Be nothing solicitous; but in every thing, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God.
7 Nagaan Waaqaa kan hubannaa hundaa ol taʼe sun karaa Kiristoos Yesuusiin qalbii fi yaada keessan ni eega.
And the peace of God, which surpasseth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Dhuma irrattis yaa obboloota, wanni dhugaa taʼe kam iyyuu, wanni ulfina qabeessa taʼe kam iyyuu, wanni qajeelaa taʼe kam iyyuu, wanni qulqulluu taʼe kam iyyuu, wanni jaallatamaa taʼe kam iyyuu, wanni gurra namaatti tolu kam iyyuu, wanni gaarii taʼe yookaan galateeffamaa taʼe kam iyyuu yoo jiraate isin waan akkanaa yaadaa.
For the rest, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever modest, whatsoever just, whatsoever holy, whatsoever lovely, whatsoever of good fame, if there be any virtue, if any praise of discipline, think on these things.
9 Isin waan narraa barattan yookaan narraa argattan yookaan narraa dhageessan yookaan narratti argitan hunda isinis akkasuma godhaa. Waaqni nagaa isin wajjin ni taʼa.
The things which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, these do ye, and the God of peace shall be with you.
10 Sababii isin dhuma irratti deebitanii naa yaaduu jalqabdaniif ani Gooftaatti baayʼee nan gammada. Dhugumaanuu carraa ittiin argisiiftan dhabdaniiti malee isin durumaanuu naa yaadaa turtan.
Now I rejoice in the Lord exceedingly, that now at length your thought for me hath flourished again, as you did also think; but you were busied.
11 Ani waan waa dhabeef akkana jechaa hin jiru; haala kam iyyuu keessatti na gaʼa jechuu baradheeraatii.
I speak not as it were for want. For I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, to be content therewith.
12 Ani dhabuun maal akka taʼe beeka; baayʼee qabaachuunis maal akka taʼe nan beeka. Haala kam iyyuu keessatti, waan hunda keessattis icciitii quufuutii fi beelaʼuu, baayʼee qabaachuutii fi dhabuu baradheera.
I know both how to be brought low, and I know how to abound: (everywhere, and in all things I am instructed) both to be full, and to be hungry; both to abound, and to suffer need.
13 Ani isa humna naa kennu sanaan waan hunda gochuu nan dandaʼa.
I can do all these things in him who strengtheneth me.
14 Haa taʼuu malee rakkina koo keessatti hirmaachuun keessan waan gaarii gochuu keessan ture.
Nevertheless you have done well in communicating to my tribulation.
15 Kana malees isin warri Fiiliphisiyuus akkuma beektan, jalqabatti yeroo ani wangeela isinitti lallabetti, yeroo ani Maqedooniyaadhaa kaʼetti isin qofa malee waldaan kiristaanaa tokko iyyuu waaʼee kennuu fi fudhachuu keessatti na wajjin hin hirmaanne.
And you also know, O Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but you only:
16 Yeroo ani Tasaloniiqee turetti illee yommuu ani rakkadhetti isin yeroo tokkoo ol gargaarsa naaf ergitaniituutii.
For unto Thessalonica also you sent once and again for my use.
17 Kunis akka buʼaan isiniif baayʼatu barbaadeen malee ani kennaa keessan barbaadee miti.
Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that may abound to your account.
18 Ani kaffaltii guutuu argadhee caalaa iyyuu qabaadheera; kennaa isin ergitanis Ephafroodiixuu harkaa fudhadhee hamma na gaʼu argadheera. Kunis kennaa urgaaʼaa fi qalma fudhatamaa Waaqa gammachiisuu dha.
But I have all, and abound: I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things you sent, an odour of sweetness, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.
19 Waaqni koos akkuma badhaadhummaa isaa ulfina qabeessa sanaatti waan isin barbaachisu hunda Kiristoos Yesuusiin isiniif guuta.
And may my God supply all your want, according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
20 Waaqa keenyaa fi Abbaa keenyaaf bara baraa hamma bara baraatti ulfinni haa taʼu. Ameen. (aiōn g165)
Now to God and our Father be glory world without end. Amen. (aiōn g165)
21 Kiristoos Yesuusiin qulqulloota hundatti nagaa naa himaa. Obboloonni na wajjin jiranis nagaa isinii dhaamu.
Salute ye every saint in Christ Jesus.
22 Qulqulloonni hundinuu, keessumattuu warri mana Qeesaarii jiraatan nagaa isinii dhaamu.
The brethren who are with me, salute you. All the saints salute you; especially they that are of Caesar’s household.
23 Ayyaanni Gooftaa keenya Yesuus Kiristoos hafuura keessan wajjin haa taʼu. Ameen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
