Lakkoobsa 6
1 Waaqayyo Museedhaan akkana jedhe;
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
2 “Akkana jedhii saba Israaʼelitti dubbadhu: ‘Dhiirri yookaan dubartiin tokko yoo Waaqayyoof addaan of baasuuf wareega addaa yookaan wareega Naazirummaa wareegan,
“Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: When a man or woman does extraordinarily by vowing a vow of a Nazarite, to be separate to YHWH,
3 daadhii wayinii fi dhugaatii nama macheessu irraa of haa eeggatan; namni sun dhangaggaaʼaa daadhii wayinii irraa hojjetame yookaan dhangaggaaʼaa dhugaatii nama macheessuu biraa hin dhugin. Inni cuunfaa gumaa wayinii dhuguu yookaan ija wayinii asheetii yookaan goggogaa isaa nyaachuu hin qabu.
he keeps separate from wine and strong drink; he does not drink vinegar of wine and vinegar of strong drink, and he does not drink any juice of grapes, and he does not eat moist or dry grapes;
4 Innis bara Naazirummaa isaa hunda keessa waan gumaa wayinii irraa argamu kam iyyuu sanyii isaas taʼu qola isaa nyaachuu hin qabu.
all [the] days of his separation he does not eat of anything which is made of the wine-vine, from kernels even to husk.
5 “‘Bara wareega addaan baafamuu isaa hunda keessa qarabaan tokko iyyuu mataa isaa hin tuqin. Hamma yeroon inni itti Waaqayyoof addaan baafame sun xumuramutti inni qulqulluu haa taʼu; akka rifeensi mataa isaa guddatuufis gad haa dhiisu.
All [the] days of the vow of his separation a razor does not pass over his head; he is holy until the fullness of the days [in] which he separates himself to YHWH; the upper part of the hair of his head has grown up.
6 “‘Naazirichi bara Waaqayyoof addaan of baase hunda keessa reeffatti dhiʼaachuu hin qabu.
All [the] days of his keeping separate to YHWH, he does not go near a dead person;
7 Sababii mallattoon inni ittiin Waaqayyoof addaan baafame mataa isaa irra jiruuf yoo abbaan isaa yookaan haati isaa, obboleessi isaa yookaan obboleettiin isaa duʼan illee isaaniif jedhee akka seeraatti of hin xureessin.
for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister—he does not become unclean for them at their death, for the separation of his God [is] on his head;
8 Inni bara itti addaan baafame sana hunda keessa kan Waaqayyoof qulqulleeffamee dha.
all [the] days of his separation he [is] holy to YHWH.
9 “‘Yoo namni tokko iddoo Naazirichi jirutti akka tasaa duʼee akkasiin rifeensa inni addaan baase sana xureesse, inni guyyaa itti qulqulleeffamutti jechuunis guyyaa torbaffaatti mataa isaa haa haaddatu.
And when the dead dies beside him in an instant, suddenly, and he has defiled the head of his separation, then he has shaved his head in the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shaves it,
10 Ergasiis inni guyyaa saddeettaffaatti gugee lama yookaan gugee sosookkee lama balbala dunkaana wal gaʼii irratti lubatti haa fidu.
and on the eighth day he brings in two turtle-doves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the opening of the Tent of Meeting,
11 Sababii inni iddoo reeffi jirutti argamuudhaan cubbuu hojjeteef lubichi isa tokko aarsaa cubbuu, isa kaan immoo aarsaa gubamu godhee araara buusuuf haa dhiʼeessuuf. Guyyuma sanas rifeensa mataa isaa addaan haa baasu.
and the priest has prepared one for a sin-offering and one for a burnt-offering, and has made atonement for him because of that which he has sinned by the body, and he has hallowed his head on that day;
12 Inni yeroo itti addaan baafame keessa ammas Waaqayyoof addaan of haa baasu; xobbaallaa hoolaa kan umuriin isaa waggaa tokko taʼes aarsaa yakkaa godhee haa fidu. Garuu sababii inni yeroo addaan baʼiisa isaa keessa xureeffameef guyyoonni darban hin lakkaaʼaman.
and he has separated to YHWH the days of his separation, and he has brought in a lamb, a son of a year, for a guilt-offering, and the former days are fallen, for his separation has been defiled.
13 “‘Egaa yeroo addaan baʼumsi isaa xumuramutti seerri Naazirichaa kanaa dha: Inni gara karra dunkaana wal gaʼiitti haa fidamu.
And this [is] the law of the Nazarite: in the day of the fullness of the days of his separation, he is brought to the opening of the Tent of Meeting,
14 Achitti aarsaa isaa Waaqayyoof haa dhiʼeessu; kunis xobbaallaa korbeessa hoolaa hirʼina hin qabnee kan umuriin isaa waggaa tokko taʼe aarsaa gubamuuf, xobbaallaa hoolaa dhaltuu hirʼina hin qabne kan umuriin ishee waggaa tokko taʼe aarsaa cubbuutiif, korbeessa hoolaa hirʼina hin qabne aarsaa nagaatiif,
and he has brought his offering near to YHWH—one male lamb, a son of a year, a perfect one, for a burnt-offering, and one female lamb, a daughter of a year, a perfect one, for a sin-offering, and one ram, a perfect one, for peace-offerings,
15 kana wajjinis Maxinoo gundoo tokko, Maxinoo daakuu bullaaʼaa irraa tolfame kan zayitiidhaan sukkuumame, bixxillee zayitiin irra dibame akkasumas kennaa midhaanii fi dhibaayyuu isaanii haa dhiʼeessu.
and a basket of unleavened things of flour, cakes mixed with oil, and thin cakes of unleavened things anointed with oil, and their present, and their drink-offerings.
16 “‘Lubichis fuula Waaqayyoo duratti isaan fidee aarsaa cubbuutii fi aarsaa gubamu haa dhiʼeessu.
And the priest has brought [them] near before YHWH, and has made his sin-offering and his burnt-offering;
17 Innis korbeessa hoolaa sana Maxinoo gundoo irra jiru sana wajjin aarsaa nagaa godhee Waaqayyoof haa dhiʼeessu; akkasumas lubichi kennaa midhaaniitii fi dhibaayyuu isaa haa dhiʼeessu.
and he makes the ram [as] a sacrifice of peace-offerings to YHWH, besides the basket of unleavened things; and the priest has made its present and its drink-offering.
18 “‘Ergasii Naazirichi balbala dunkaana wal gaʼii duratti rifeensa addaan baase sana haa haaddatu. Rifeensa sanas fuudhee ibidda aarsaa nagaa jalaan jiru sana keessa haa buusu.
And the Nazarite has shaved (at the opening of the Tent of Meeting) the head of his separation, and has taken the hair of the head of his separation, and has put [it] on the fire which [is] under the sacrifice of the peace-offerings.
19 “‘Erga Naazirichi rifeensa ittiin addaan baafame sana haaddatee booddee lubni sun foon gatiittii korbeessa hoolaa kan affeelamee fi Maxinoo fi bixxillee hin bukaaʼin gundoo sana irraa fuudhee harka namichaa irra haa kaaʼu.
And the priest has taken the boiled shoulder from the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one thin unleavened cake, and has put [them] on the palms of the Nazarite after his shaving [the hair of] his separation;
20 Ergasiis lubichi aarsaa sochoofamu godhee fuula Waaqayyoo duratti isaan haa sochoosu; isaanis handaraafa sochoofamee fi tafa dhiʼeeffame sana wajjin lubichaaf kan qulqulleeffamanii dha. Ergasii Naazirichi daadhii wayinii dhuguu ni dandaʼa.
and the priest has waved them [as] a wave-offering before YHWH; it [is] holy to the priest, besides the breast of the wave-offering, and besides the leg of the raised-offering; and afterward the Nazarite drinks wine.
21 “‘Seerri Naaziricha waan kennuu dandaʼu kaan dabalatee akkuma addaan baʼumsa isaatti kennaa isaa Waaqayyoof wareegu tokkoo kanaa dha. Innis akkuma seera Naazirichaatti waan wareege sana raawwachuu qaba.’”
This [is] the law of the Nazarite who vows his offering to YHWH for his separation, apart from that which his hand attains; according to his vow which he vows so he does by the law of his separation.”
22 Waaqayyo Museedhaan akkana jedhe;
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
23 “Aroonii fi ilmaan isaatti akkana jedhii himi; ‘Akki isin itti Israaʼeloota eebbiftan kanaa dha. Akkana jedhaanii:
“Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, Thus you bless the sons of Israel, saying to them:
24 “‘“Waaqayyo si haa eebbisu; si haa eegus;
YHWH bless you and keep you;
25 Waaqayyo fuula isaa siif haa ibsu; garaa siif haa laafu.
YHWH cause His face to shine on you, And favor you;
26 Waaqayyo fuula isaa gara keetti haa deebisu; nagaas siif haa kennu.”’
YHWH lift up His countenance on you, And appoint for you—peace.
27 “Akkasitti isaan maqaa koo saba Israaʼel irra kaaʼu; anis isaan nan eebbisa.”
And they have put My Name on the sons of Israel, and I bless them.”
