1 “‘Guyyaa jalqaba jiʼa torbaffaatti wal gaʼii qulqulluu godhadhaa; gaafas hojii idilee hin hojjetinaa. Guyyaan kun guyyaa isin itti malakata afuuftanii dha.
“Now the first day of the seventh month also shall be venerable and holy to you. In it, you shall not do any servile work, because it is the day of the sounding of the trumpets.
2 Dibicha loonii tokko, korbeessa hoolaa tokkoo fi xobbaallaawwan hoolaa torba kanneen umuriin isaanii waggaa tokko tokko taʼee fi kanneen hundi isaanii hirʼina hin qabne aarsaa gubamu kan fooliin isaa Waaqayyotti tolu dhiʼeessaa.
And you shall offer a holocaust, as a most sweet odor to the Lord: one calf from the herd, one ram, and seven immaculate one-year-old lambs;
3 Dibicha sana wajjinis kennaa midhaanii kan daakuu bullaaʼaa iifii tokkoo irraa harka kudhan keessaa harka sadii zayitiidhaan sukkuumame dhiʼeessaa. Korbeessa hoolaa wajjinis iifii tokko irraa harka kudhan keessaa harka lama,
and, as their sacrifices, fine wheat flour sprinkled with oil: three tenths for each calf, two tenths for a ram,
4 xobbaallaawwan hoolaa torban sana wajjinis iifii tokko harka kudhan keessaa harka tokko dhiʼeessaa.
one tenth for a lamb, which all together are seven lambs;
5 Akkasumas akka araarri isinii buufamuuf korbeessa reʼee tokko itti dabalaatii aarsaa cubbuutiif dhiʼeessaa.
and a he-goat for sin, which is offered as an expiation for the people,
6 Aarsaawwan kunneen akkuma amala isaaniitti aarsaawwan gubaman kanneen jiʼa jiʼattii fi guyyaa guyyaatti dhiʼeeffamanii fi kennaawwan midhaaniittii fi dhibaayyuu isaaniitti dabalamanii dhiʼeeffamanii dha. Isaanis aarsaawwan ibiddaan Waaqayyoof dhiʼeeffaman kanneen fooliin isaanii toluu dha.
aside from the holocaust of the first day of the month with its sacrifices, and the perpetual holocaust with the usual libations. By these same ceremonies, you shall offer incense as a most sweet odor to the Lord.
7 “‘Bultii kurnaffaa jiʼa torbaffaa kanaatti wal gaʼii qulqulluu godhadhaa; isinis gad of deebisaa; hojii tokko illees hin hojjetinaa.
Likewise, the tenth day of this seventh month shall be for you holy and venerable, and you shall afflict your souls. You shall do no servile work in it.

and a he-goat for sin, apart from those things which are usually offered for offenses as an expiation, and as a perpetual holocaust, with their sacrifice and libations.
12 “‘Bultii kudha shanaffaa jiʼa torbaffaatti wal gaʼii qulqulluu godhadhaa; hojii idilee hin hojjetinaa. Waaqayyoofis bultii torba ayyaana ayyaaneffadhaa.
Yet truly, on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, which shall be for you holy and venerable, you shall not do any servile work in it, but you shall celebrate a solemnity to the Lord for seven days.
13 Jiboota loonii kudha sadii, korbeeyyii hoolaa lamaa fi xobbaallaawwan hoolaa kudha afur kanneen umuriin isaanii waggaa tokko tokko taʼee fi kanneen hundi isaanii hirʼina hin qabne aarsaa gubamu kan fooliin isaa Waaqayyotti toluu fi kan ibiddaan dhiʼeeffamu dhiʼeessaa.
And you shall offer a holocaust, as a most sweet odor to the Lord: thirteen calves from the herd, two rams, fourteen immaculate one-year-old lambs;
14 Tokkoo tokkoo jiboota kudha sadanii wajjinis kennaa midhaanii kan daakuu bullaaʼaa iifii tokkoo irraa harka kudhan keessaa harki sadii zayitiidhaan sukkuumame dhiʼeessaa; tokkoo tokkoo korbeeyyii hoolaa lamaan sanaa wajjinis iifii tokko irraa harka kudhan keessaa harka lama,
and as their libations, fine wheat flour sprinkled with oil: three tenths for each calf, which is all together thirteen calves, and two tenths for each ram, that is, all together two rams,

and one tenth for each lamb, which is all together fourteen lambs;
16 Akkasumas aarsaa gubamu kan yeroo hunda dhiʼeeffamu kennaa midhaan isaattii fi dhibaayyuu isaatti dabalaatii korbeessa reʼee tokko aarsaa cubbuutiif dhiʼeessaa.
and a he-goat for sin, apart from the perpetual holocaust, and the sacrifice and its libation.
17 “‘Bultii lammaffaatti jiboota loonii kudha lama, korbeeyyii hoolaa lamaa fi xobbaallaawwan hoolaa kudha afur kanneen umuriin isaanii waggaa tokko tokko taʼee fi kanneen hundi isaanii hirʼina hin qabne dhiʼeessaa.
On the next day, you shall offer twelve calves from the herd, two rams, and fourteen immaculate one-year-old lambs.

20 “‘Bultii sadaffaatti jiboota loonii kudha tokko, korbeeyyii hoolaa lamaa fi xobbaallaawwan hoolaa kudha afur kanneen umuriin isaanii waggaa tokko tokko taʼee fi kanneen hundi isaanii hirʼina hin qabne dhiʼeessaa.
On the third day, you shall offer eleven calves, two rams, and fourteen immaculate one-year-old lambs.

23 “‘Bultii afuraffaatti jiboota loonii kudhan, korbeeyyii hoolaa lamaa fi xobbaallaawwan hoolaa kudha afur kanneen umuriin isaanii waggaa tokko tokko taʼee fi kanneen hundi isaanii hirʼina hin qabne dhiʼeessaa.
On the fourth day, you shall offer ten calves, two rams, and fourteen immaculate one-year-old lambs.

26 “‘Bultii shanaffaatti jiboota loonii sagal, korbeeyyii hoolaa lamaa fi xobbaallaawwan hoolaa kudha afur kanneen umuriin isaanii waggaa tokko tokko taʼee fi kanneen hundi isaanii hirʼina hin qabne dhiʼeessaa.
On the fifth day, you shall offer nine calves, two rams, and fourteen immaculate one-year-old lambs.

On the sixth day, you shall offer eight calves, two rams, and fourteen immaculate one-year-old lambs.

On the seventh day, you shall offer seven calves, and two rams, and fourteen immaculate one-year-old lambs.

35 “‘Bultii saddeettaffaatti wal gaʼii qulqulluu godhadhaa; hojii idilee hin hojjetinaa.
On the eighth day, which is most honored, you shall not do any servile work,
36 Dibicha loonii tokko, korbeessa hoolaa tokkoo fi xobbaallaawwan hoolaa torba kanneen umuriin isaanii waggaa tokko tokko taʼee fi kanneen hundi isaanii hirʼina hin qabne aarsaa gubamu kan ibiddaan dhiʼeeffamuu fi kan fooliin isaa Waaqayyotti tolu dhiʼeessaa.

with a he-goat for sin, apart from the perpetual holocaust, and its sacrifice and libation.
39 “‘Aarsaa keessan kan gubamu, kennaa midhaan keessanii, dhibaayyuu keessanii fi aarsaa keessan kan nagaa, kan wareega keessaniitii fi aarsaa fedhii keessaniin dhiʼeessitanitti dabalaatii ayyaana keessan beekamaa sana irratti Waaqayyoof dhiʼeessaa.’”
These things you shall offer to the Lord in your solemnities, aside from the vowed and voluntary oblations, as a holocaust, as a sacrifice, as a libation, or as peace-offering victims.”
40 Museenis waan Waaqayyo isa ajaje hunda Israaʼelootatti hime.
And Moses explained to the sons of Israel all that the Lord had commanded him.
