1 Waaqayyo Musee fi Arooniin akkana jedhe:
And the Lord spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2 “Israaʼeloonnis tokkoon tokkoon namaa faajjii ofii isaanii jalatti faajjii maatii isaa wajjin dunkaana irraa xinnuma fagaatee naannoo dunkaana wal gaʼii haa qubatu.”
Every man by his own standard, by the ensign of their family division, shall the children of Israel pitch their tent; at some distance round about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they encamp.
3 Gama baʼaatiin, karaa baʼa biiftuutiin: kutaawwan qubata Yihuudaa faajjii isaanii jala haa qubatan. Hoogganaan ijoollee Yihuudaa Nahishoon ilma Amiinaadaabii ti.
And they, who encamp on the east, toward the rising of the sun, shall be [those who belong to] the standard of the camp of Judah according to their armies: and the prince of the children of Judah shall be Nachshon the son of 'Amminadab.
4 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 74,600.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were seventy and four thousand and six hundred.
5 Gosti Yisaakor isaanitti aanee haa qubatu. Hoogganaan ijoollee Yisaakor Naatnaaʼel ilma Zuuwaar ture.
And those that encamp next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and the prince of the children of Issachar shall be Nethanel the son of Zuar.
6 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 54,400.
And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
7 Gosti Zebuuloon kanatti haa aanu. Hoogganaan ijoollee Zebuuloon Eliiyaab ilma Heeloonii ti.
[Then] the tribe of Zebulun: and the prince of the children of Zebulun shall be Eliab the son of Chelon.
8 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 57,400.
And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
9 Namoonni qubata Yihuudaatti lakkaaʼaman hundis akkuma kutaa kutaa isaaniitti 186,400 turan. Isaanis duraan dursanii qajeelu.
All that were numbered of the camp of Judah were one hundred thousand and eighty thousand and six thousand and four hundred, according to their armies: they shall first set forward.
10 Gama kibbaatiin: kutaawwan qubata Ruubeen faajjii isaanii jalaan haa qubatan. Hoogganaan ijoollee Ruubeen Eliizuur ilma Shedeeʼuurii ti.
The standard of the camp of Reuben shall be on the south side, according to their armies: and the prince of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.
11 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 46,500.
And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
12 Gosti Simiʼoon isaanitti aanee haa qubatu. Hoogganaan gosa Simiʼoon Shilumiiʼeel ilma Zuriishadaayii ti.
And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the prince of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of 'Zurishaddai.
13 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 59,300.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
14 Gosti Gaad isaanitti haa aanu. Hoogganaan gosa Gaad Eliyaasaaf ilma Deʼuuʼeelii ti.
Then the tribe of Gad: and the prince of the sons of Gad shall be Elyassaph the son of Reuel.
15 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 45,650.
And his host, and those who were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty.
16 Namoonni qubata Ruubeenitti lakkaaʼaman hundis akkuma kutaa kutaa isaaniitti 151,450 turan. Isaan kunneenis warra duraatti aananii deemu.
All that were numbered of the camp of Reuben were one hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, according to their armies; and as the second shall they set forward.
17 Ergasiis dunkaanni wal gaʼiitii fi qubanni Lewwotaa qubatawwan gidduu haa deeman. Isaanis akkuma toora qubata isaaniitti tokkoon tokkoon isaanii iddoo isaanii eeggatanii faajjii isaanii jala haa deeman.
Then shall the tabernacle of the congregation, the camp of the Levites, set forward in the midst of the camps: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place after their standards.
18 Gama dhiʼaatiin gareen qubata Efreem faajjii isaanii jalaan haa qubatan. Hoogganaan ilmaan Efreem Eliishaamaa ilma Amiihuudii ti.
The standard of the camp of Ephraim shall be on the west side, according to their armies: and the prince of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of 'Ammihud.
19 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 40,500:
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred.
20 Gosti Minaasee isaanitti haa aanu. Hoogganaan ijoollee Minaasee Gamaaliʼeel ilma Phedaasuurii ti.
And by him shall be the tribe of Menasseh; and the prince of the children of Menasseh shall be Gamliel the son of Pedahzur.
21 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 32,200.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
22 Gosti Beniyaam itti haa aanu. Hoogganaan ilmaan Beniyaam Abiidaan ilma Gaadeyoonii ti.
Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the prince of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gidoni.
23 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 35,400:
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
24 Namoonni qubata Efreemitti lakkaaʼaman hundis kutaa kutaa isaaniitti 108,100 turan. Isaan kunneen immoo kutaa sadaffaa taʼanii deeman.
All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were one hundred thousand and eight thousand and one hundred, according to their armies; and as the third shall they set forward.
25 Gama kaabaatiin kutaawwan qubata Daan faajjii isaanii jalaan haa qubatan. Hoogganaan gosa Daan Ahiiʼezer ilma Amiishadaayii ti.
The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side, according to their armies: and the prince of the children of Dan shall be Achiezer the son of 'Ammishaddai.
26 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 62,700.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were sixty and two thousand and seven hundred.
27 Gosti Aasheer isaanitti aanee haa qubatu. Hoogganaan ijoollee Aseer Fagiʼeel ilma Okraanii ti.
And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the prince of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of 'Ochran.
28 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 41,500:
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
29 Gosti Niftaalemitti haa aanu. Hoogganaan ijoollee Niftaalem Ahiiraa ilma Eenaanii ti.
Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the prince of the children of Naphtali shall be Achira the son of 'Enan.
30 Lakkoobsi kutaa isaas namoota 53,400:
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
31 Namoonni qubata Daaniitti lakkaaʼaman hundis 157,600 turan. Isaanis dhuma irratti faajjii isaanii jalaan haa deeman.
All those that were numbered of the camp of Dan were one hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred; the hindmost shall they set forward according to their standards.
32 Namoonni kunneen saba Israaʼel warra akkuma maatii isaaniitti lakkaaʼamanii dha. Lakkoobsi warra qubata keessaa kanneen kutaa kutaa isaaniitiin lakkaaʼaman hundaa 603,550.
These are those that were numbered of the children of Israel according to their family divisions: and all those that were numbered of the camps, according to their armies, were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
33 Lewwonni garuu akkuma Waaqayyo Musee ajaje sanatti Israaʼeloota kaan wajjin hin lakkaaʼamne.
But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
34 Akkasiin Israaʼeloonni waan Waaqayyo Musee ajaje hunda hojjetan; isaanis haaluma kanaan faajjii isaanii jala haa qubatan; haaluma kanaanis tokkoon tokkoon isaanii balbalaa fi maatii isaanii wajjin baʼanii haa deeman.
And the children of Israel did all just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so did they encamp by their standards, and so did they set forward every one after his family, by his division.
