1 Ammas Yesuus mana sagadaa seene; namichi harki irratti goge tokkos achi ture.
He came again into the synagogue, a man was there having a withered hand.
2 Isaan keessaas namoonni tokko tokko Yesuusin himachuuf jedhanii sababa barbaadaa turan; kanaafuu akka inni Sanbataan namicha fayyisu ilaaluuf isa gaadan.
And they were watching Him, if He will heal him on the Sabbath, that they might accuse Him.
3 Yesuusis namicha harki irratti goge sanaan, “Kaʼii fuula nama hundaa dura dhaabadhu” jedhe.
And He says to the man having a withered hand; Rise up in the midst.
4 Yesuusis, “Sanbataan isa kamtu eeyyamamaa dha? Waan gaarii hojjechuu moo waan hamaa hojjechuu? Lubbuu oolchuu moo ajjeesuu?” jedhee isaan gaafate. Isaan garuu ni calʼisan.
And He says to them; Is it lawful to do good or to do evil on the Sabbath; to save life, or to kill? And they were silent.
5 Innis mata jabina isaaniitti akka malee gaddee, aariidhaan garagalee isaan ilaale; namicha sanaanis, “Harka kee diriirfadhu!” jedhe. Namichis harka diriirfate; harki isaas guutumaan guutuutti fayye.
And looking round on them with indignation, being grieved over the hardness of their hearts, He says to the man; Reach forth thy hand. And he reached it forth and it was restored.
6 Fariisonnis gad baʼanii akka ittiin Yesuusin ajjeesuu dandaʼan garee Heroodis wajjin mariʼachuu jalqaban.
And the Pharisees, having gone out immediately along with the Herodians, took counsel against Him in order that they might kill Him.
7 Yesuus barattoota isaa wajjin achii kaʼee gara galaanichaatti qajeele; tuunni namoota baayʼees Galiilaadhaa isa duukaa buʼe.
And Jesus departed with His disciples to the sea: and a great multitude followed Him from Galilee, and from Judea,
8 Namoonni baayʼeenis yommuu waan inni hojjechaa ture hunda dhagaʼanitti Yihuudaadhaa, Yerusaalemii, Edoomiyaasii, biyya Yordaanos gamaatii, naannoo Xiiroosiitii fi Siidoonaatii gara isaa dhufan.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond the Jordan, and those about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing so many things that He was doing, came to Him.
9 Innis akka baayʼina namaatiin hin dhiibamneef akka isaan bidiruu xinnoo tokko isaaf qopheessan barattoota isaatti hime.
And He said to His disciples, that a little boat should wait on Him in order that they may not tread on Him.
10 Sababii inni nama baayʼee fayyisee tureef, warri dhukkubsatan hundinuu isa tuquuf jedhanii irratti wal cabsaa turan.
For He healed many; so that they were falling before Him so that they might touch Him, so many as had diseases.
11 Hafuuronni xuraaʼoonis yeroo isa argan fuula isaa duratti kufanii, “Ati Ilma Waaqaa ti!” jedhanii iyyu turan.
And unclean spirits, when they saw Him, fell down before Him, and were crying out, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
12 Inni garuu akka isaan akka inni beekamu hin goone jabeessee isaan ajaje.
And He charged them much that they should not make Him known.
13 Yesuusis tulluutti ol baʼee warra ofii isaatii barbaade ofitti waame; isaanis gara isaa dhufan.
And He goes up into the mountain, and calls whom He wished: and they went away to Him.
14 Innis akka isaan isa wajjin jiraatanii fi akka lallabaaf isaan erguuf namoota kudha lama muudee barattoota jedhee moggaase;
And He made twelve (apostles) that they may be with Him and that He may send them out to preach,
15 akka isaan hafuurota hamoo baasaniifis taayitaa kenneef.
and to have power to heal diseases, and to cast out the demons.
16 Warri kudha lamaan inni muudes isaan kana: Simoon isa inni “Phexros” jedhee moggaase,
And He placed the name Peter on Simon;
17 Yaaqoob ilma Zabdewoosii fi obboleessa isaa Yohannis warra inni “Boʼanergees” jedhee moggaase; Boʼanergees jechuun ilmaan “Kakawwee” jechuu dha;
and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and on them He placed the names Boanerges, which is, Sons of thunder:
18 Indiriiyaas, Fiiliphoos, Bartaloomewoos, Maatewos, Toomaas, Yaaqoob ilma Alfewoos, Taadewoos, Simoon Hinaafticha,
and Andrew and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot,
19 Yihuudaa Keeriyoticha isa Yesuusin dabarsee kenne.
who also betrayed Him.
20 Yesuusis mana tokko seene; sababii namoonni akka malee baayʼatan ammas walitti qabamaniif innii fi barattoonni isaa waa nyaachuu illee hin dandeenye.
And He comes into a house; and the multitude come together again so they are not able to eat bread.
21 Firoonni isaas yommuu waan kana dhagaʼanitti isa qabuu dhaqan; namoonni, “Inni qalbii dabarseera” jechaa turaniitii.
And those along with Him hearing came out to arrest Him: for they continued to say, He is beside Himself.
22 Barsiistonni seeraa warri Yerusaalemii gad buʼan, “Inni Biʼeelzebuuliin qabameera! Hangafa hafuurota hamootiin hafuurota hamoo baasaa jira” jedhan.
And the scribes having come down from Jerusalem were saving, He has Beelzebul and He is casting out the demons through the prince of the demons.
23 Yesuus immoo ofitti isaan waamee akkana jedhee fakkeenyaan isaanitti dubbate: “Seexanni akkamitti Seexana baasuu dandaʼa?
And calling them to Him, He continued to speak to them in parables, How is Satan able to cast out Satan?
24 Mootummaan tokko yoo gargar of qoode, mootummaan sun dhaabachuu hin dandaʼu.
And if a kingdom may be divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand,
25 Manni tokko yoo gargar of qoode, manni sun dhaabachuu hin dandaʼu.
and if a house may be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand;
26 Seexannis yoo gargar of qoode, inni dhaabachuu hin dandaʼu; dhumni isaa gaʼeeraatii.
and if Satan stand up against himself, and is divided, he is not able to stand, but has an end.
27 Dhugumaan namni kam iyyuu utuu duraan dursee nama jabaa tokko hin hidhin, mana nama jabaa sanaa seenee qabeenya isaa saamuu hin dandaʼu. Ergasii inni mana namicha jabaa sanaa saamuu dandaʼa.
No one is able, having entered into the house of a strong man, to spoil his goods, unless he may first bind the strong man, and then he will spoil his house.
28 Ani dhuguma isinittin hima; cubbuun isaanii hundii fi arrabsoon isaan dubbatan hundi namootaaf dhiifamuu ni dandaʼa;
Truly I say unto you, that all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies whatsoever they may blaspheme:
30 Yesuusis sababii isaan, “Inni hafuura xuraaʼaa qaba” jechaa turaniif waan kana dubbate.
Because they were saying, He has an unclean spirit.
31 Haatii fi obboloonni isaa dhufanii, ala dhaabatanii nama itti erganii isa waamsisan.
And His mother and His brothers come; and standing without, sent to Him, calling Him.
32 Namoonni baayʼeenis isatti naannaʼanii taaʼaa turan; isaanis, “Haati keetii fi obboloonni kee ala dhadhaabatanii si iyyaafachaa jiru” jedhanii isatti himan.
And the crowd was sitting round Him; and they say to Him, Behold thy mother and thy brothers without are seeking thee.
33 Inni immoo, “Haati kootii fi obboloonni koo eenyu?” jedhee gaafate.
And He responding to them, says, Who is my mother and my brothers?
34 Innis warra naannoo isaa marsanii tataaʼan ilaalee akkana jedhe; “Haati kootii fi obboloonni koo kunoo ti!
And looking round on His disciples sitting about Him in a circle, He says, Behold my mother and my brothers!
35 Namni fedhii Waaqaa raawwatu kam iyyuu obboleessa koo ti; obboleettii koo ti; haadha kootis.”
For whosoever may do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and my mother.
