Luqaas 17
1 Yesuus barattoota isaatiin akkana jedhe; “Wantoonni akka namoonni gufatan godhan dhufuun hin oolu; garuu nama wantoonni kunneen karaa isaatiin dhufaniif wayyoo!
And Jhesu seide to hise disciplis, It is impossible that sclaundris come not; but wo to that man, bi whom thei comen.
2 Inni warra xixinnaa kanneen keessaa tokko illee gufachiisuu mannaa dhagaan daakuu morma isaatti hidhamee galaanatti utuu darbatamee isaa wayya ture.
It is more profitable to him, if a mylne stoon be put aboute his necke, and he be cast in to the see, than that he sclaundre oon of these litle.
3 Kanaafuu of eeggadhaa. “Yoo obboleessi kee yakka sitti hojjete isa ifadhu; yoo inni qalbii jijjiirrate immoo dhiifama godhiif.
Take ye hede you silf; if thi brothir hath synned ayens thee, blame hym; and if he do penaunce, foryyue hym.
4 Yoo inni guyyaa tokkotti yeroo torba cubbuu sitti hojjetee yeroo torbanuu sitti deebiʼee, ‘Ani qalbii nan jijjiirradha’ siin jedhe dhiifama godhiif.”
And if seuene sithis in the dai he do synne ayens thee, and seuene sithis in the dai he be conuertid to thee, and seie, It forthenkith me, foryyue thou hym.
5 Ergamoonnis Gooftaadhaan, “Amantii keenya nuu guddisi” jedhan.
And the apostlis seiden to the Lord, Encrese to vs feith.
6 Innis akkana jedhee deebise; “Isin amantii xinnoo hamma ija sanaaficaa illee yoo qabaattan, muka qilxuu kanaan, ‘Buqqaʼiitii galaana keessa dhaabami!’ jechuu dandeessu; innis isinii ajajama.
And the Lord seide, If ye han feith as the corn of seneuei, ye schulen seie to this more tre, Be thou drawun vp bi the rote, and be ouerplauntid in to the see, and it schal obeie to you.
7 “Isin keessaa namni tokko garbicha lafa qotu yookaan kan hoolota tiksu qaba haa jennu; inni yeroo garbichi sun alaa galutti, ‘Dafii kottuutii taaʼii waa nyaadhu’ jedhaanii?
But who of you hath a seruaunt erynge, or lesewynge oxis, which seith to hym, whanne he turneth ayen fro the feeld, Anoon go, and sitte to mete;
8 Qooda kanaa inni garbicha sanaan, ‘Irbaata naa qopheessi; hamma ani nyaadhee dhugutti marxifadhuutii na tajaajili; sana booddee ati ni nyaattaa; ni dhugdas’ hin jedhuunii?
and seith not to hym, Make redi, that Y soupe, and girde thee, and serue me, while Y ete and drynke, and aftir this thou schalt ete and drynke;
9 Namichis sababii garbichi sun waan ajajame sana raawwateef isa ni galateeffataa?
whether he hath grace to that seruaunt, for he dide that that he comaundide hym?
10 Kanaafuu isinis yommuu waan ajajamtan hunda raawwattanitti, ‘Nu garboota faayidaa hin qabnee dha; waanuma hojjechuu qabnu qofa hojjenne’ jedhaa.”
Nay, Y gesse. So ye, whanne ye han don alle thingis that ben comaundid to you, seie ye, We ben vnprofitable seruauntis, we han do that that we ouyten to do.
11 Yesuus utuu Yerusaalem dhaquu Samaariyaa fi Galiilaa gidduu darbaa ture.
And it was do, the while Jhesus wente in to Jerusalem, he passide thorou the myddis of Samarie, and Galilee.
12 Akkuma inni ganda tokko seeneenis, namoonni lamxaaʼan kudhan isatti dhufan. Isaanis fagoo dhadhaabatanii,
And whanne he entride in to a castel, ten leprouse men camen ayens hym, whiche stoden afer,
13 sagalee isaanii ol fudhatanii, “Yesuus yaa Gooftaa, nuu naʼi!” jedhan.
and reiseden her voys, and seiden, Jhesu, comaundoure, haue merci on vs.
14 Innis yommuu isaan argetti, “Dhaqaatii lubootatti of argisiisaa!” jedheen; isaanis utuma deemaa jiranuu qulqullaaʼan.
And as he say hem, he seide, Go ye, `schewe ye you to the prestis. And it was don, the while thei wenten, thei weren clensid.
15 Isaan keessaas inni tokko yommuu fayyuu isaa argetti sagalee guddaadhaan Waaqaaf ulfina kennaa deebiʼee dhufe.
And oon of hem, as he saiy that he was clensid, wente ayen, magnifiynge God with grete vois.
16 Adda isaatiinis miilla Yesuus irratti gombifamee isa galateeffate; innis nama Samaariyaa ture.
And he fel doun on the face bifore hise feet, and dide thankyngis; and this was a Samaritan.
17 Yesuusis akkana jedhee gaafate; “Kurnanuu qulqullaaʼaniiru mitii? Yoos warri hafan sagallan eessa dhaqan?
And Jhesus answerde, and seide, Whether ten ben not clensid, and where ben the nyne?
18 Nama ormaa kana malee namni deebiʼee Waaqaaf galata galchu tokko iyyuu hin argamnee?”
There is noon foundun, that turnede ayen, and yaf glorie to God, but this alien.
19 Yesuusis, “Kaʼii deemi; amantiin kee si fayyiseeraatii” jedheen.
And he seide to hym, Rise vp, go thou; for thi feith hath maad thee saaf.
20 Fariisonnis mootummaan Waaqaa yoom akka dhufu Yesuusin gaafatan; innis akkana jedhee deebiseef; “Mootummaan Waaqaa namatti mulʼachaa hin dhufu;
And he was axid of Farisees, whanne the rewme of God cometh. And he answerde to hem, and seide, The rewme of God cometh not with aspiyng,
21 namoonnis, ‘Mootummaan Waaqaa kunoo as jira’ yookaan ‘Kuunnoo achi jira’ hin jedhan; mootummaan Waaqaa isin gidduu jiraatii.”
nether thei schulen seie, Lo! here, or lo there; for lo! the rewme of God is with ynne you.
22 Innis barattoota isaatiin akkana jedhe; “Yeroon isin itti guyyoota Ilma Namaa keessaa isa tokko arguu hawwitan ni dhufa; garuu hin argitan.
And he seide to hise disciplis, Daies schulen come, whanne ye schulen desire to se o dai of mannus sone, and ye schulen not se.
23 Namoonni, ‘Inni kuunnoo achi jira!’ yookaan ‘Kunoo as jira’ isiniin jedhu; isin garuu hin dhaqinaa; isaan duukaas hin buʼinaa.
And thei schulen seie to you, Lo! here, and lo there. Nyle ye go, nether sue ye;
24 Ilmi Namaa guyyaa isaatti akkuma balaqqeessi balaqqeessaʼee gama tokkoo hamma gama kaaniitti samii ibsuu ni taʼaatii.
for as leyt schynynge from vndur heuene schyneth in to tho thingis that ben vndur heuene, so schal mannus sone be in his dai.
25 Inni garuu duraan dursee akka malee dhiphachuu fi dhaloota kanaan tuffatamuu qaba.
But first it bihoueth hym to suffre many thingis, and to be repreued of this generacioun.
26 “Akkuma bara Nohi taʼe sana, yeroo Ilma Namaattis akkasuma ni taʼa.
And as it was doon in the daies of Noe, so it schal be in the daies of mannys sone.
27 Hamma gaafa Nohi doonii seeneetti namoonni nyaachaa, dhugaa, fuudhaa, heerumaas turan. Bishaan badiisaas dhufee hunda isaanii balleesse.
Thei eeten and drunkun, weddiden wyues, and weren youun to weddyngis, til in to the dai in the whych Noe entride in to the schip; and the greet flood cam, and loste alle.
28 “Bara Looxis akkasuma ture; namoonni nyaachaa, dhugaa, bitachaa, gurgurachaa, biqiltuu dhaabbachaa, manas ijaarrachaa turan.
Also as it was don in the daies of Loth, thei eeten and drunkun, bouyten and seelden, plauntiden and bildiden; but the dai that Loth wente out of Sodome,
29 Guyyaa Looxi Sodoomii baʼetti garuu ibiddii fi dinyiin samii irraa roobee hunda isaanii balleesse.
the Lord reynede fier and brymstoon fro heuene, and loste alle.
30 “Guyyaa Ilmi Namaa mulʼatuttis akkasuma taʼa.
Lijk this thing it schal be, in what dai mannys sone schal be schewid.
31 Guyyaa sana namni bantii manaa irra jiru kan mana keessaa miʼa qabu miʼa sana fudhachuuf gad buʼuu hin malu. Akkasuma immoo namni lafa qotiisaa keessa jiru tokko iyyuu waan tokkoof illee manatti hin deebiʼin.
In that our he that is in the roof, and his vessels in the hous, come he not doun to take hem awei; and he that schal be in the feeld, also turne not ayen bihynde.
32 Niitii Looxi yaadadhaa!
Be ye myndeful of the wijf of Loth.
33 Namni lubbuu isaa eeggachuu yaalu kam iyyuu lubbuu isaa ni dhaba; namni lubbuu isaa dhabu kam iyyuu lubbuu isaa ni turfata.
Who euer seketh to make his lijf saaf, schal leese it; and who euer leesith it, schal quykene it.
34 Ani isinittin hima; halkan sana namoonni lama siree tokko irra ni rafu; inni tokko ni fudhatama; kaan immoo ni hafa.
But Y seie to you, in that nyyt twei schulen be in o bed, oon schal be takun, and the tothir forsakun;
35 Dubartoonni lama walii wajjin midhaan daaku; isheen tokko ni fudhatamti; kaan immoo ni hafti. [
twei wymmen schulen be gryndynge togidir, `the toon schal be takun, and `the tother forsakun; twei in a feeld, `the toon schal be takun, and `the tother left.
36 Namoonni lama lafa qotiisaa keessa jiru; tokko ni fudhatama; kaan immoo ni hafa.”]
Thei answeren, and seien to hym, Where, Lord?
37 Isaanis, “Yaa Gooftaa, eessatti?” jedhanii gaafatan. Innis, “Iddoo raqni jirutti gogocorroowwan walitti qabamu” jedhee deebiseef.
Which seide to hym, Where euer the bodi schal be, thidur schulen be gaderid togidere also the eglis.
