Abbootii Murtii 17
1 Namicha biyya gaara Efreem keessa jiraatu kan maqaan isaa Miikaayaa jedhamu tokkotu ture;
And he was a man from [the] hill country of Ephraim and name his [was] Micaiah.

4 Kanaafuu inni meetii sana deebisee haadha isaatiif kenne; isheenis meetii dhibba lama fuutee tumtuu meetiitti kennite; tumtuun sunis fakkii fi Waaqa tolfamaa ittiin hojjete. Fakkii fi Waaqni tolfamaan sunis mana Miikaayaa keessa kaaʼaman.
And he brought back the silver to mother his and she took mother his two hundred silver and she gave it to the silversmith and he made it a carved image and a molten image and it was in [the] house of Micaiah.
5 Namichi Miikaa jedhamu kunis galma Waaqa tolfamaa qaba ture; innis dirataa fi waaqota tolfamoo tokko tokko tolchee ilmaan isaa keessaa nama tokko luba godhate.
And the man Micah [belonged] to him a house of God and he made an ephod and teraphim and he filled [the] hand of one from sons his and he became of him a priest.

And he was a young man from Beth-lehem Judah from [the] tribe of Judah and he [was] a Levite and he [was] sojourning there.
8 Innis iddoo jireenyaa kan biraa barbaaduuf jedhee magaalaa sana dhiisee deeme. Utuma deemuus gara biyya gaaraa Efreem mana Miikaa dhufe.
And he went the man from the city from Beth-lehem Judah to sojourn in where he will find and he came [the] hill country of Ephraim to [the] house of Micah to make journey his.
9 Miikaanis, “Ati eessaa dhufte?” jedhee isa gaafate. Innis, “Ani nama Lewwii kan Beetlihem biyya Yihuudaatii dhufee iddoo jireenyaa barbaaduu dha” jedheen.
And he said to him Micah from where? do you come and he said to him [am] a Levite I from Beth-lehem Judah and I [am] going to sojourn in where I will find.
10 Miikaanis, “Na wajjin jiraadhuutii abbaa fi luba naa taʼi; anis waggaatti meetii kudhan siif kenna; uffata keetii fi nyaata kees nan dandaʼa” isaan jedhe.
And he said to him Micah remain! with me and become of me a father and a priest and I I will give to you ten silver to the days and an order of garments and sustenance your and he went the Levite.
11 Kanaafuu Lewwichi sun isa wajjin jiraachuuf walii gale; dargaggeessi sunis Miikaadhaaf ilmaan isaa keessaa akkuma nama tokkoo taʼe.
And he was willing the Levite to dwell with the man and he was the young man to him like one from sons his.
12 Miikaanis dargaggeessa Lewwii sana muudate; innis luba isaa taʼee mana isaa jiraate.
And he filled Micah [the] hand of the Levite and he became of him the young man a priest and he was in [the] house of Micah.
13 Miikaanis, “Erga Lewwichi kun luba koo taʼe, ani akka Waaqayyo waan gaarii naa godhu nan beeka” jedhe.
And he said Micah now I know that he will do good Yahweh to me for he has become of me the Levite a priest.
