1 Ixaan lammaffaan gosa Simiʼooniif balbala balbalaan baʼe. Dhaalli isaaniis dhaala gosa Yihuudaa keessatti argama.
And then came forth the second lot for Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.
2 Kunis: Bersheebaa yookaan Shebaa, Molaadaa,
And they obtained in their inheritance Beer-sheba', [or] Sheba', and Moladah,
3 Hazar Shuuʼaal, Baalaa, Ezem,
And Chazar-shu'al, and Balah, and 'Ezem,
4 Eltolaad, Betuul, Hormaa,
And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Chormah,
5 Siiqlaag, Beet Markaabot, Hazar Suusaa,
And Ziklag, and Beth-hamarcaboth, and Chazar-sussah,
6 Beet Lebaaʼotii fi Shaaruheen; magaalaawwanii fi gandoonni isaanii kudha sadii turan;
And Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuchen: thirteen cities and their villages.
7 Ayin, Rimoon, Eteerii fi Ashaan, magaalaawwanii fi gandoota isaanii afran,
'Ayin, Rimmon, and 'Ether, and 'Ashan; four cities and their villages.
8 akkasumas gandoota naannoo magaalaawwan kanneenii jiran kanneen hamma Baaʼilaat Biʼeeritti jechuunis hamma Raamaat ishee Negeeb keessaa sanaatti balʼata. Dhaalli gosti Simiʼoon balbala balbalaan argate kanaa dha.
And all the villages that were round about these cities up to Ba'alath-beer, South Ramah. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
9 Sababii qoodni gosa Yihuudaa hamma isaan barbaadanii ol taʼeef dhaalli gosa Simiʼoon kun qooda gosa Yihuudaa irraa fudhatame. Kanaafuu gosti Simiʼoon Yihuudaa keessatti dhaala argate.
Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too much for them; therefore the children of Simeon obtained their inheritance within their inheritance.
10 Ixaan sadaffaan gosa Zebuulooniif balbala balbalaan baʼe; kunis: Daariin dhaala isaanii hamma Saariiditti deema.
And then came up the third lot for the children of Zebulun according to their families; and the boundary of their inheritance extended up to Sarid;
11 Achiis karaa lixaatiin gara Mareʼaalaatti gad buʼee Dabesheetitti riiqatee hamma laga Yoqeniʼaam dura jiru sanaatti deema.
And their boundary went up toward the sea, and Mar'alah, and touched on Dabbesheth, and touched on the brook that is before Yokne'am;
12 Ergasiis Saariid irraa gara Kisloti Taaboor biyya baʼa biiftuutti argamtu sanaatti gara baʼaatti goree Daaberaatitti qajeelee hamma Yaafiiyaatti deema.
And turned from Sarid eastward toward the rising of the sun unto the border of Kisloth-tabor, and then went out to Daberath, and went up to Yaphia';
13 Achiis karaa baʼaatiin itti fufee Gat Heeferii fi Eetqaaxin dhaqa; Rimooniin gad baʼee gara Neʼaahitti gora.
And from there it passed on in front to the east unto Gath-Chepher, to 'Eth-kazin, and went out to Rimmon, whence it extended to Ne'ah;
14 Daariin sunis karaa kaabaatiin gara Hanaatoonitti goree Sulula Yiftaa Eelitti dhuma.
And this boundary turned about on the north side to Channathon; and its terminations were in the valley of Yiph-thach-el;
15 Kanneen irrattis Qaataat, Naahaalal, Shimroon, Yidalaa fi Beetlihem dabalamaniiru. Isaaniis gandoota isaanii wajjin magaalaawwan kudha lama turan.
And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Yidalah, and Beth-lechem: twelve cities with their villages.
16 Magaalaawwan kunneenii fi gandoonni isaanii dhaala gosti Zebuuloon balbala balbalaan argatee dha.
This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.
17 Ixaan afuraffaan gosa Yisaakoriif balbala balbalaan baʼe.
For Issachar came out the fourth lot, for the children of Issachar according to their families.
18 Biyyi isaaniis: Yizriʼeel, Kesuloot, Suunam,
And their boundary went to Yizre'el, and Kessulloth, and Shunem,
19 Hafaarayim, Shiiʼoon, Anaaharat,
And Chapharayim, and Shion, and Anacharath,
20 Rabiit, Kishoon, Ebezi,
And Rabbith, and Kishyon, and Abez,
21 Remeet, Een Ganiim, Een Hadaa fi Beet Phaxeex.
And Remeth, and 'En-gannim, and 'En-chaddah, and Beth-pazazz;
22 Daariin isaanii Taaboor, Shahazumaa fi Beet Shemesh tuqee Yordaanos gaʼee dhaabata. Isaanis gandoota isaanii wajjin magaalaawwan kudha jaʼa turan.
And the boundary touched on Tabor, and Shachazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and the terminations of their boundaries were at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.
23 Magaalaawwan kunneenii fi gandoonni isaanii dhaala gosti Yisaakor balbala balbalaan argatee dha.
This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.
24 Ixaan shanaffaan gosa Aasheeriif balbala balbalaan baʼe.
And then came out the fifth lot for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
25 Biyyi isaaniis: Helqaat, Halii, Beten, Akshaaf,
And their boundary was Chelkath, and Chali, and Beten, and Achshaph,
26 Alaamelek, Amaadii fi Mishiʼaal. Daangaan sunis karaa lixaatiin Qarmeloosii fi Shiihoor Libnaat tuqa.
And Allammelech, and 'Am'ad, and Mishal; and it touched on Carmel at the sea, and on Shichor-libnath;
27 Ergasii karaa baʼa biiftuutiin gara Beet Daagonitti goree Zebuuloonii fi Sulula Yiftaa Eelitti qabatee Kaabuulin gara bitaatti dhiisee karaa kaabaatiin Beet Emeeqii fi Neʼiiʼeelitti qajeela.
And it turned toward the rising of the sun to Beth-dagon, and touched on Zebulun, and on the valley of Yiphthach-el at the north, on Beth-ha'emek, and Ne'iel, and went out to Cabul on the left,
28 Achiis kaʼee gara Eebroon, Rehoob, gara Hamoonii fi Qaanaatti ol baʼee hamma Siidoonaa Guddichaatti deema.
And 'Ebron, and Rechob, and Chammon, and Kanah, up to Zidon the great city,
29 Daangaan sunis ergasii gara Raamaatti goree magaalaa Xiiroos kan dallaa jabaa qabu sanaa dhaqee gara Hoosaatti goree karaa Akziibiitiin galaana gaʼee dhaabata;
And then the boundary turned back to Ramah, and to the city of Mibzar-zor; and then the boundary turned back to Chossah; and the terminations were by the sea in the district toward Achzib;
30 kunis biyya Umaa, biyya Afeeqiitii fi Rehoob dabalata. Isaanis gandoota isaanii wajjin magaalaawwan digdamii lama turan.
And 'Ummah and Aphek, and Rechob: twenty and two cities with their villages.
31 Magaalaawwan kunneenii fi gandoonni isaanii dhaala gosti Aasheer balbala balbalaan argatee dha.
This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.
32 Ixaan jaʼaffaan gosa Niftaalemiif balbala balbalaan baʼe; kunis:
Unto the children of Naphtali came out the sixth lot, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
33 Daariin isaanii Heelefii fi muka guddaa Zaʼaanaaniim keessa jiru sanaa kaʼee Adaamii Neqebii fi Yabniʼeel irraan gara Laquumiitti qajeelee Yordaanos gaʼee dhaabata.
And their boundary was from Cheleph, from Allon-beza-'anannim, and Adami-hanekeb, and Yabneel, as far as Lakkum; and its terminations were at the Jordan;
34 Daariin sun Aznoot Taabooritti qajeelee gara lixaatti goruudhaan Huuqooqi gaʼee dhaabata. Innis karaa kibbaatiin Zebuuloon, karaa lixatiin Aasheer, karaa baʼaatiin immoo Yordaanos tuqa.
And then the boundary turned westward to Aznoth-tabor, and went out from there to Chukkok, and touched on Zebulun on the south, and touched on Asher on the west, and on Judah upon the Jordan toward the rising of the sun.
35 Magaalaawwan dallaa jabaa qaban kanneenii dha: Zidiimi, Zeeri, Hamaati, Raqaati; Kinereeti,
And fortified cities, Ziddim, Zer, and Chammath, Rakkath, and Kinnereth,
36 Adaamaa, Raamaa, Haazoor,
And Adamah, and Ramah, and Chazor,
37 Qaadesh, Edreyii, Een Haxoor,
And Kedesh, and Edre'i, and 'En-chazor,
38 Yiroon, Migdaal Eel, Horeem, Beet Anaatii fi Beet Shemesh. Isaanis gandoota isaanii wajjin magaalaawwan kudha sagal turan.
And Yiron, and Migdal-el, Chorem, and Beth-'anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities with their villages.
39 Magaalaawwan kunneenii fi gandoonni isaanii dhaala gosti Niftaalem balbala balbalaan argatee dha.
This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.
40 Ixaan torbaffaan gosa Daaniif balbala balbalaan baʼe.
For the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families came out of the seventh lot.
41 Biyyi isaan Dhaalanis: Zoraa, Eshitaaʼol, Iir Shemesh,
And the boundary of their inheritance was Zor'ah, and Eshtaol, and 'Ir-shemesh,
42 Shaʼalabiin, Ayaaloon, Yitlaa,
And Sha'alabbin, and Ayalon, and Yithlah,
43 Eeloon, Tiimnaahi, Eqroon,
And Elon, and Thimnathah, and 'Ekron,
44 Elteqee, Gibetoon, Baaʼilaati,
And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Ba'alath,
45 Yihuud, Benee Beraaq, Gat Rimoon,
And Yehud, and Bene-berak, and Gathrimmon.
46 Meyaarqoonii fi Raqoon Yoopheetti garagalee argamu sanaa dha.
And Me-hayarkon, and Rakkon, with the boundary before Yapho.
47 Ijoolleen Daan garuu sababii lafti dhaalan sun isaanitti dhiphatteef ol baʼanii Lesheemin waraananii qabatan; erga goraadeedhaan dhaʼanii booddee ishee dhuunfatan. Isaanis Lesheem keessa qubatanii Daan jedhanii maqaa abbaa isaaniitiin ishee moggaasan.
And the territory of the children of Dan went out beyond these; for the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and captured it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession of it, and dwelt therein, and they called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
48 Magaalaawwan kunneenii fi gandoonni isaanii dhaala gosti Daan balbala balbalaan argatee dha.
This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.
49 Israaʼeloonnis erga biyyattii ixaadhaan qoodamte sana hiranii fixanii booddee gidduu isaaniitti Iyyaasuu ilma Nuunitiif dhaala kennan;
And they made an end of dividing the land for inheritance after its boundaries; and the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them;
50 dhaala kanas akkuma Waaqayyo ajajetti kennan. Isaanis magaalaa inni gaafatee kennaniif; magaalaan sunis Timnaat Seeraa kan biyya gaaraa Efreemitti argamtuu dha. Innis magaalaa sana ijaaree keessa jiraate.
By the order of the Lord did they give him the city which he had asked, Timnathserach on the mountain of Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.
51 Kunneen biyyoota Eleʼaazaar lubichi, Iyyaasuun ilmi Nuunitii fi hangafoonni gosoota Israaʼel Shiilootti fuula Waaqayyoo duratti balbala dunkaana wal gaʼii irratti ixaadhaan kennanii dha. Isaanis akkasiin biyyattii qooduu xumuran.
These are the inheritances, which Elazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the divisions of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot, at Shiloh before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.
