Isaayyaas 50
1 Waaqayyo akkana jedha: “Waraqaan ragaa, kan ani ittiin haadha keessan hiikee of irraa ittiin ishee geggeesse meerre? Yookaan namni liqii narraa qabu kan ani itti isin gurgure eenyu? Isin sababii cubbuu keessaniif gurguramtaniirtu; sababii yakka keessaniitiifis haati keessan ariʼamteerti.
The Lord seith these thingis, What is this book of forsakyng of youre modir, bi which Y lefte her? ether who is he, to whom Y owe, to whom Y seeld you? For lo! ye ben seeld for youre wickidnessis, and for youre grete trespassis Y lefte youre modir.
2 Yeroo ani dhufetti namni maaliif achi hin jiraatin? Yeroo ani waametti namni owwaatu maaliif achii dhabame? Harki koo akka furuu hin dandeenyeef gabaabateeraa? Ani isin baraaruuf humna dhabeeraa? Ani dheekkamsa qofaan galaana nan gogsa; lageenis gammoojjiitti nan geeddara; qurxummiiwwan isaanii bishaan dhabanii ajaaʼu; dheebuudhaanis ni dhumu.
For Y cam, and no man was; Y clepide, and noon was that herde. Whether myn hond is abreggid, and maad litil, that Y mai not ayenbie? ether vertu is not in me for to delyuere? 3 Ani samiitti dukkana nan uffisa; wayyaa gaddaas itti nan haguuga.”
Y schal clothe heuenes with derknessis, and Y schal sette a sak the hilyng of tho.
4 Akka ani warra dadhaban jajjabeessuuf, Waaqayyo Gooftaan arraba barate naa kenneera. Inni ganama ganama na dammaqsa; akka inni akkuma barataa tokkootti dhaggeeffatuufis gurra koo dammaqsa.
The Lord yaf to me a lerned tunge, that Y kunne susteyne hym bi word that failide; erli the fadir reisith, erli he reisith an eere to me, that Y here as a maister.
5 Waaqayyo Gooftaan gurra koo naa baneera; anis fincilaa hin turre; ani dugda duubatti hin deebine.
The Lord God openede an eere to me; forsothe Y ayenseie not, Y yede not abak.
6 Ani warra na rukutanitti dugda koo, warra areeda narraa buqqisanitti immoo maddii koo nan kenne; yeroo isaan natti qoosanii hancufa natti tufanitti, ani fuula koo isaan hin dhokfanne.
I yaf my bodi to smyteris, and my chekis to pulleris; Y turnede not a wei my face fro men blamynge, and spetynge on me.
7 Sababii Waaqayyo Gooftaan na gargaaruuf, ani hin salphifamu. Kanaafuu ani fuula koo akkuma dhagaa gurraachaa godhadheera; ani akka hin qaaneffamne illee nan beeka.
The Lord God is myn helpere, and therfor Y am not schent; therfor Y haue set my face as a stoon maad hard, and Y woot that Y schal not be schent.
8 Inni dhugaa naaf baasu dhiʼoo jira. Yoos eenyutu na himata ree? Mee walitti gad haa baanu! Himataan koo eenyu? Inni mee natti gad haa baʼu!
He is niy, that iustifieth me; who ayenseith me? stonde we togidere. Who is myn aduersarie? neiye he to me.
9 Waaqayyo Gooftaatu na gargaara. Eenyutu natti mura? Isaan hundi akkuma wayyaa moofaʼu; dholdholeenis isaan nyaatti.
Lo! the Lord God is myn helpere; who therfor is he that condempneth me? Lo! alle schulen be defoulid as a cloth, and a mouyte schal ete hem.
10 Isin keessaa kan Waaqayyoon sodaatee dubbii garbicha isaatiif ajajamu eenyu? Namni dukkana keessa deddeebiʼu, kan ifa hin qabne, maqaa Waaqayyoo amanatee Waaqa isaatti haa irkatu.
Who of you dredith the Lord, and herith the vois of his seruaunt? Who yede in dercnessis and liyt is not to hym, hope he in the name of the Lord, and triste he on his God.
11 Amma garuu isin warri ibidda bobeessitanii guca bobaʼaa deemu qabattan hundinuu ifa ibiddaa keessaniitii fi ifa guca bobeessitanii keessa deemaa. Wanni isin harka koo irraa argattan kanaa dha; isin dhiphinaan ni ciciiftu.
Lo! alle ye kyndlynge fier, and gird with flawmes, go in the liyt of youre fier, and in the flawmes whiche ye han kyndlid to you. This is maad of myn hond to you, ye schulen slepe in sorewis.
