Galaatiyaa 6
1 Yaa obboloota, yoo namni tokko cubbuu keessa seene, isin warri hafuuraan jiraattan garraamummaan isa deebisuu qabdu. Garuu atis akka hin qoramneef of eeggadhu.
Brothers, even if a man may be overtaken in any trespass, you who [are] spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of meekness, considering yourself—lest you also may be tempted.
2 Isin baʼaa walii baadhaa; akkasiin isin seera Kiristoos ni eegdu.
Bear the burdens of one another, and so fill up the law of the Christ,
3 Namni tokko utuu waan tokko iyyuu hin taʼin, waan waa tokko taʼe yoo of seʼe, inni of gowwoomsa.
for if anyone thinks [himself] to be something—being nothing—he deceives himself;
4 Tokkoon tokkoon namaa hojii mataa isaa haa qoru. Ergasiis utuu nama kaanitti of hin madaalin of qofa jajuu ni dandaʼa;
and let each one prove his own work, and then he will have the glorying in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to the other,
5 tokkoon tokkoon namaa baʼaa ofii isaa baadhachuu qabaatii.
for each one will bear his own burden.
6 Namni dubbicha baratu kam iyyuu waan gaarii hundumaa barsiisaa isaa wajjin haa qoodatu.
And let him who is instructed in the word share with him who is instructing in all good things.
7 Hin gowwoominaa; Waaqaatti qoosuun hin dandaʼamu. Namni waanuma facaafate haammataatii.
Do not be led astray: God is not mocked; for what a man may sow—that he will also reap,
8 Namni foonitti facaasu foon irraa badiisa galfata; namni Hafuuratti facaasu immoo Hafuura irraa jireenya bara baraa haammata. (aiōnios g166)
because he who is sowing to his own flesh, of the flesh will reap corruption; and he who is sowing to the Spirit, of the Spirit will reap continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
9 Kottaa waan gaarii hojjechuu hin dadhabnu; yoo abdii kutachuu baanne gaafa yeroon isaa gaʼe midhaan isaa ni haammannaatii.
and in doing good we should not be weary, for at the proper time we will reap—not desponding;
10 Kanaaf kottaa, carraa qabnuun nama hundaaf, keessumattuu warra maatii amantootaa taʼaniif waan gaarii goonaa.
therefore, then, as we have opportunity, may we work the good to all, and especially to those of the household of faith.
11 Akka ani harkuma kootiin qubee gurguddaa hammam gaʼuun isinii barreesse mee ilaalaa!
You see in how large letters I have written to you with my own hand;
12 Warri fooniin gaarii taʼanii mulʼachuu barbaadan akka isin dhagna qabattan isin dirqisiisuu yaalu. Isaanis fannoo Kiristoosiif jedhanii akka hin ariʼatamne qofaaf waan kana godhu.
as many as are willing to make a good appearance in the flesh, these constrain you to be circumcised—only that they may not be persecuted for the Cross of the Christ,
13 Warri dhagna qabatan mataan isaanii iyyuu seera hin eegan; taʼus isaan dhagna qabaa keessan kan fooniitiin boonuuf jedhanii akka isin dhagna qabattan barbaadu.
for neither do those circumcised keep the Law themselves, but they wish you to be circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
14 Fannoo Gooftaa keenya Yesuus Kiristoos kan ittiin addunyaan naaf fannifame, kan anis ittiin addunyaaf fannifame sana malee waan biraatiin of jajuun narraa haa fagaatu.
And for me, let it not be—to glory, except in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world;
15 Uumama haaraa taʼuutu faayidaa qaba malee dhagna qabachuun yookaan qabachuu baachuun faayidaa hin qabu.
for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation;
16 Nagaa fi araarri warra seera kana duukaa buʼan hundaaf, Israaʼel Waaqaatiifis haa taʼu.
and as many as walk by this rule—peace on them, and kindness, and on the Israel of God!
17 Ani dhagna koo irraa godaannisa Yesuus qabaatii siʼachi namni tokko iyyuu na hin rakkisin.
From now on, let no one give me trouble, for I carry the scars of the Lord Jesus in my body.
18 Yaa obboloota, ayyaanni Gooftaa keenya Yesuus Kiristoos hafuura keessan wajjin haa taʼu. Ameen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with your spirit, brothers! Amen.
