Galaatiyaa 1
1 Phaawulos ergamticha isa utuu namoota biraa yookaan namaan hin taʼin garuu Yesuus Kiristoosii fi Waaqa Abbaa isa Yesuusin warra duʼan keessaa kaaseen ergamee fi
Paul, an Apostle, not from men, neither by man; but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father who raised him from the dead;
2 obboloota na wajjin jiran hundumaa irraa, Gara Waldoota Kiristaanaa Galaatiyaatti:
and all the brethren who are with me, to the congregations of Galatia:
3 Abbaa keenya Waaqaa fi Yesuus Kiristoos Gooftaa irraa ayyaannii fi nagaan isiniif haa taʼu;
Favor to you, and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 inni akka fedhii Abbaa keenyaa fi Waaqa keenyaatti bara hamaa kana jalaa nu oolchuuf jedhee cubbuu keenyaaf of kenne; (aiōn g165)
who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, (aiōn g165)
to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
6 Akkana ariifattanii isa karaa ayyaana Kiristoosiin isin waame sana dhiisuudhaan wangeela biraa duukaa buʼuun keessan baayʼee na dinqeera;
I wonder that you are so soon removed from him who called you into the favor of Christ, to another gospel;
7 wangeelli biraa illee hin jiru. Garuu namoonni isin dogoggorsanii wangeela Kiristoos jalʼisuu yaalan tokko tokko jiru.
which is not another: but there are some who trouble you, and wish to pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 Nus taanaan yookaan yoo ergamaan Waaqaa samii irraa dhufe tokko wangeela nu kanaan dura isinitti lallabne sana irraa adda taʼe isinitti lallabe, inni bara baraan haa abaaramu!
But if even we, or an angel from heaven, declare a gospel to you, different from what we have declared to you, let him be accursed.
9 Akkuma nu kanaan dura jenne ani ammas irra deebiʼee nan dubbadha; yoo eenyu iyyuu wangeela isin kanaan dura fudhattan sana irraa adda taʼe isinitti lallabe inni abaaramaa haa taʼu!
As we said before, so now I say again, if any one declare a gospel to you, different from what you have received, let him be accursed.
10 Ani amma nama biratti moo Waaqa biratti fudhatama argachuu yaalaan jira? Yookaan nama gammachiisuu nan yaalaa? Ani utuun hamma ammaatti nama gammachiisuu yaalee silaa tajaajilaa Kiristoos hin taʼu ture.
For do I now conciliate men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 Yaa obboloota, wangeelli ani lallabe sun nama irraa akka hin dhufin isin akka beektan nan barbaada.
Now I certify you, brethren, concerning the gospel which was declared by me, that it is not according to men.
12 Ani wangeelicha mulʼataan Yesuus Kiristoos irraa fudhadhe malee nama tokko irraa illee hin fudhanne; yookaan namni na hin barsiifne.
For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, except by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
13 Akka ani yeroon amantii Yihuudootaa duukaa buʼaa turetti waldaa kiristaanaa Waaqaa akka malee ariʼachaa fi balleessuufis yaalaa ture dhageessaniirtu.
You have certainly heard of my behavior formerly in Judaism; that I exceedingly persecuted the congregation of God, and laid it waste;
14 Ani amantii Yihuudootaatiin warra saba koo keessaa hiriyoota koo taʼan baayʼee nan caala ture; duudhaa abbootii kootiifis akka malee nan hinaafa ture.
and made progress in Judaism above many of the same age with myself, in my own nation, being more exceedingly jealous of the traditions of my fathers.
15 Garuu yommuu Waaqni gadameessa haadha kootii jalqabee na filatee fi ayyaana isaatiin na waame sun,
But when God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his favor, was pleased
16 akka ani Namoota Ormaa gidduutti waaʼee Ilma isaa lallabuuf isa natti mulʼisuu jaallatetti ani nama tokkoon iyyuu hin mariʼanne.
to reveal his Son to me, that I might declare the good news concerning him to the Gentiles; immediately I did not consult flesh and blood:
17 Ani warra anaan dura ergamoota turan arguuf Yerusaalemitti ol hin baane; garuu yeruma sana biyya Arabaan dhaqe. Ergasiis Damaasqoottin deebiʼe.
neither did I go up to Jerusalem, to them who were Apostles before me; but I went away in Arabia, and again returned to Damascus.
18 Ergasiis anis waggaa sadii booddee Keefaan wal baruuf jedhee Yerusaalemitti ol baʼe; guyyaa kudha shanis isa biran ture.
Then, after three years, I went up to Jerusalem, to become acquainted with Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
19 Ani garuu Yaaqoob obboleessa Gooftaa malee ergamoota kaan keessaa tokko illee hin argine.
But I saw no other of the Apostles, except James, the Lord's brother.
20 Wanti ani isinii barreessu akka soba hin taʼin kunoo fuula Waaqaa duratti isiniifin mirkaneessa.
Now as to the things which I write to you, behold, God is my witness that I do not falsely affirm.
21 Ergasiis ani gara Sooriyaa fi biyya Kiilqiyaan dhaqe.
After that, I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
22 Waldoonni Kiristaanaa Yihuudaa kanneen Kiristoositti jiranis fuula koo arganii hin beekan.
and I was personally unknown to the congregations of Judea which are in Christ.
23 Isaanis oduu, “Namichi duraan nu ariʼachaa ture sun amma immoo amantiidhuma dur balleessuuf yaalaa ture sana lallabaa jira” jedhu qofa dhagaʼan.
They had only heard that--he who formerly persecuted us, now announces, as glad tidings, the faith which he formerly destroyed.
24 Isaanis sababii kootiif Waaqaaf ulfina kennan.
And they glorified God on my account.
