1 Ergasiis gara mana qulqullummaatti na fidee tuggeewwan isaa safare; balʼinni tuggeewwan sanaas qixa hundaanuu dhundhuma jaʼa jaʼa ture.
[in the vision] the man brought me to into the Holy Place in the temple and measured the walls on each side of the doorway of that room: They were about (10-1/2 feet/3.3 meters) thick.
2 Balʼinni balbala isaa dhundhuma kudhan, balʼinni isaa immoo karaa hundaan dhundhuma shan shan ture. Akkasumas inni karaa mana qulqullummaa kan gara alaa safare; innis dhundhuma afurtama dheeratee balʼinni isaa immoo dhundhuma digdama ture.
The entrance was (17-1/2 feet/5.3 meters) wide, and the walls of each side of it were (8-3/4 feet/2.6 meters) wide. He also measured the Holy Place, it was (70 feet/21.4 meters) long and (35 feet/10.7 meters) wide.
3 Sana booddee gara mana qulqullummaa isa gara keessaa seenee utubaawwan balbalaa safare; tokkoon tokkoon isaaniis dhundhuma lama lama babalʼatu ture. Balballi isaa dhundhuma jaʼa balʼatee qixa hundaanuu dhundhuma torba torba balʼata ture.
Then he entered the inner room [of the temple] and measured the walls of the entrance; [each was] (3-1/2 feet/1.1 meter) thick. The doorway was (10-1/2 feet/3.3 meters) wide, and the walls on each side of the entrance were (12-1/4 feet/3.7 meters) long.
4 Lafa irra dheerina mana qulqullummaa isa gara keessaas ni safare; innis fiixee tokko irraa hamma fiixee kaaniitti dhundhuma digdama dheeratee balʼinni isaa immoo dhundhuma digdama ture. Innis, “Kun Iddoo Qulqullummaa kan Hunda Caaluu dha” naan jedhe.
Then he measured the inner room: It was (35 feet/10.7 meters) long and (35 feet/10.7 meters) wide. He said to me, “This is the Very Holy Place.”
5 Ergasii immoo keenyan mana qulqullummaa safare; innis yabbinna dhundhuma jaʼa qaba ture; balʼinni dareewwanii kan naannoo mana qulqullummaa biraas dhundhuma afur afur ture.
Then he measured the wall of the temple: It was (10-1/2 feet/3.3 meters) thick.[There was a row of rooms along the outside wall of the temple]. Each of those rooms was (7 feet/2.1 meters) wide.
6 Dareewwan sunis darbii sadiitti qoodamanii wal irratti ijaaraman; tokkoon tokkoon darbii immoo dareewwan soddoma soddoma qaba ture. Dareewwan sana deeggaruufis naannoo keenyan mana qulqullummaa tuggeewwantu ture; tuggeewwan sun garuu keenyan mana qulqullummaa deeggaruuf keessa hin suuqamne.
There were three levels of rooms, one above the other. There were thirty rooms on each level. There were ledges all around the wall of the temple that were supports for those side rooms; so those supports were not built into the wall of the temple.
7 Dareewwan mana qulqullummaa bira jiran sunis darbiidhaa gara darbiitti babalʼachaa deemu turan. Ijaarsi mana qulqullummaa marsee jiru waan gadii gara oliitti ijaarameef dareewwan sun akkuma ol baʼaa deemaniin babalʼatu turan. Gulantaan tokkos darbii gadiitii jalqabee darbii walakkaa keessa baʼee gara darbii oliitti baasa ture.
Each of those side rooms was wider than the one below it. The most narrow rooms were built first, at the bottom. Then a wider set of rooms was built over it, and the widest set was at the top. A set of stairs was built from the lowest level through the middle level to the highest level.
8 Akkasumas manni qulqullummaa sun naannoo isaatii madabii ol kaʼaa akka qabu nan arge; madabiin sunis dareewwan sanaaf hundee taʼe. Hundeen sunis lafa irra dheerina ulee tokkoo jechuunis dhundhuma jaʼa qaba ture.
I saw that there was a terrace (OR, raised platform) around the temple. The terrace was the foundation for those side rooms; it was (10-1/2 feet/3.3 meters) high.
9 Keenyan dareewwan sanaa gara alaatiin dhundhuma shan yabbata ture. Iddoon duwwaan dareewwan mana qulqullummaatii fi
The outer wall of those side rooms was (8-3/4 feet/2.6 meters) thick. All around those side rooms there was an open area that was (35 feet/10.6 meters) wide.
10 dareewwan lubootaa gidduu jiru kan naannoo mana qulqullummaa guutumaan guutuutti dhundhuma digdama balʼata ture.
There was a row of rooms for the priests on each side of the outer wall of the inner courtyard.
11 Iddoo duwwaa sana irraa jalqabees balbalawwan dareewwan sanatti ol seensisan, tokko karaa kaabaa, kaan immoo karaa kibbaa turan; madabiin iddoo duwwaa sana marsee jiru dhundhuma shan balʼata ture.
There were two doors from those side rooms into another open area; one faced north and one faced south. That open area was (8-3/4 feet/2.6 meters) wide.
12 Ijaarsi oobdii mana qulqullummaatti garagalee jiruu karaa dhiʼaatiin dhundhuma torbaatama balʼata. Keenyan ijaarsa sanaas dhundhuma shan yabbata; dheerinni isaas dhundhuma sagaltama ture.
There was a large building on the west side of the temple area. It was (122-1/2 feet/37.1 meters) wide and (157-1/2 feet/47.7 meters) long. And its walls were [also] (8-3/4 feet/2.6 meters) thick.
13 Ergasii inni mana qulqullummaa safare; dheerinni isaas dhundhuma dhibba tokko ture; oobdiin mana qulqullummaatii fi ijaarsi sun keenyan isaa wajjin dhundhuma dhibba tokko dheerata ture.
Then the man measured the temple. It was (175 feet/53 meters) long, and the [temple] courtyard, where the large building was, including its walls was [also] (175 feet/53 meters) wide.
14 Balʼinni oobdii mana qulqullummaa kan karaa baʼaatiin jiru iddoo fuullee mana qulqullummaa dabalatee dhundhuma dhibba tokko ture.
The courtyard on the east side of the temple, across the front of the temple, was also (175 feet/53 meters) wide.
15 Ergasiis inni dheerina ijaarsaa kan gara oobdii isa mana qulqullummaa duubaatti garagalee jiru keenyan gama lamaanii dabalatee safare; innis dhundhuma dhibba tokko ture. Manni qulqullummaa kan gara alaa, kan gara keessaatii fi gardaafoon gara oobdiitti garagalee jiru,
Then he measured the building on the west [side]. Including its walls it was also (175 feet/53 meters) wide. The outer walls of the Holy Place, the Very Holy Place, and the entry room,
16 akkasumas waltajjiiwwan, foddaawwan dhidhiphoonii fi darbiiwwan naannoo sadan isaanii jiran kan waltajjiin oliitii fi waltajjiin mataan isaa mukaan haguugamee ture. Lafti isaa, keenyan hamma foddaawwaniitti jiruu fi foddaawwan haguugamanii turan.
the inner walls above and below the windows, and the frames of the windows were all covered with [thin] panels of wood.
17 Keessa iddoo balbala mana qulqullummaa gubbaan jiruu fi naannoo keenyan mana qulqullummaa kan gara keessaatii fi kan gara alaa irratti
All the walls inside the temple were decorated [carvings of] winged creatures and palm trees: Between each figure of a winged creature was a carving of a palm tree. Each winged creature had two faces:
18 fakkiin kiirubeelii fi mukkeen meexxii tolfamanii turan. Mukkeen meexxii sunis kiirubeel gidduutti tolfaman. Tokkoon tokkoon kiirubis fuula lama lama qaba ture:
One was a face of a human, and one was the face of a lion. Those figures were carved on the walls all around the inside of the temple.
19 Fuulli namaa tokko gara muka meexxii kan gama tokkoon jirutti garagalee ture; fuulli leencaa immoo gara muka meexxii kan gama kaaniitti garagalee ture. Isaanis guutumaan guutuutti mana qulqullummaa irratti marfamanii tolfamanii turan.
20 Lafa mana qulqullummaa keessaa hamma balbala gubbaa jiruutti kiirubeelii fi mukkeen meexxii keenyan mana qulqullummaa isa gara alaa irratti tolfamanii turan.
They covered all the walls, from the floor to the top of the walls.
21 Manni qulqullummaa karaa alaatiin hidhii balbalaa kan roga afurii qaba ture; hidhiin balbalaa kan Iddoo Iddoo Hunda Caalaa Qulqulluu taʼe fuuldura jirus wal fakkaata ture.
At the entrance to the Holy Place of the temple there were square doorposts. In front of the Very Holy Place there was something that resembled
22 Iddoo aarsaa kan muka irraa tolfame kan ol dheerinni isaa dhundhuma sadii, lafa irra dheerinni isaa dhundhuma lamaa fi balʼinni isaa immoo dhundhuma lamaatu ture; goleewwan isaa, madabiin isaatii fi cinaachi isaa muka irraa tolfame. Namichi sunis, “Maaddiin kun maaddii fuula Waaqayyoo dura jiruu dha” naan jedhe.
a wooden altar. It was (5.2 feet/1.6 meters) high and (3-1/2 feet/1.1 meters) wide on all four sides. Its corners and base and sides were [all made] of wood. The man said to me, “This is the table that is in the presence of Yahweh.”
23 Manni qulqullummaa inni gara alaatii fi Iddoon Iddoo Hunda Caalaa Qulqulluu taʼe sun balbala lama lama qabu turan.
The Holy Place and the Very Holy Place had double doors.
24 Tokkoon tokkoon balbala sanaas saanqaawwan lama lama qaba ture; tokkoon tokkoon balbala sanaas saanqaawwan qabsiiftuu qaban lama lama qaba ture.
Each doorway had two doors that [on hinges].
25 Balbalawwan mana qulqullummaa isa gara alaa irratti kiirubeelii fi mukkeen meexxii akkuma keenyan manaa irratti tolfaman sana tolfamanii turan; gardaafoo sana fuula duraanis dibaabee mukaa tokkotu ture.
On the doors of the Holy Place there were carvings of winged creatures and palm trees, like those on the walls of the Holy Place. There was also a wooden roof over the front of the entry room [of the temple].
26 Keenyan bitaa fi mirgaa kan gardaafoo sanaa irra foddaawwan dhidhiphoo kanneen bitaa mirgaan mukkeen meexxiitiin faayeffamantu ture. Dareewwan mana qulqullummaa kanneen bitaa fi mirgaas dibaabeewwan qabu turan.
On the side walls of the entry room were narrow windows with [figures of] palm trees [carved] on the sides of the windows. The side rooms around the temple also had roofs.
