1 Museen waldaa Israaʼel guutuu walitti qabee akkana jedheen; “Wanni Waaqayyo akka isin hojjettan isin ajaje kana:
Moses summoned all the Israelites and told them, “This is what the Lord has ordered you to do:
2 Guyyaa jaʼa hojiin haa hojjetamu; guyyaan torbaffaan garuu isiniif guyyaa qulqulluu dha; Waaqayyoof immoo sanbata boqonnaa taʼa. Namni guyyaa kana hojii hojjetu kam iyyuu haa ajjeefamu.
Six days you can work, but the seventh day is to be a holy Sabbath of rest to the Lord. Anyone who does any work on the Sabbath day must be killed.
3 Guyyaa Sanbataatiin lafa jiraattan kamitti iyyuu ibidda hin qabsiisinaa.”
Don't even light a fire in any of your homes on the Sabbath day.”
4 Museenis waldaa Israaʼel guutuudhaan akkana jedhe; “Wanni Waaqayyo ajaje kana:
Moses also told all the Israelites, “This is what the Lord has commanded:
5 Waan qabdan irraa Waaqayyoof kennaa dhiʼeessaa. Namni fedhii qabu hundinuu: “kennaa warqee, meetii fi naasii Waaqayyoof haa fidu.
Collect an offering to the Lord from what you have. Everyone who wants to should bring an offering to the Lord: gold, silver, and bronze;
6 Kirrii bifa cuquliisaa, dhiilgee, bildiimaa fi quncee talbaa gaarii, rifeensa reʼee,
blue, purple, and crimson thread; finely-woven linen and goat hair;
7 gogaa korbeessa hoolaa kan halluu diimaa cuuphamee fi gogaa duugame, muka laaftoo,
tanned ram skins and fine leather; acacia wood;
8 ibsaadhaaf zayitii ejersaa, zayitii ittiin dibanii fi ixaana urgaaʼuuf immoo urgooftuuwwan,
olive oil for the lamps; spices for the anointing oil and for the aromatic incense;
9 dhagaawwan sardooniksii, dooqa gati jabeessa, dirataa fi qomee irratti kaaʼatamu kan biraa haa fidu.
and onyx stones and gemstones for making the ephod and breastpiece.
10 “Isin keessaa namoonni ogeeyyiin hundi dhufanii waan Waaqayyo ajaje hunda haa hojjetan:
All your skilled craftsmen are to come and make everything the Lord has commanded:
11 “Kunis dunkaana qulqulluu dunkaana isaatii fi irra buusaa isaa wajjin, hokkoowwan isaa, tuggee isaa, dagalee isaa, utubaa isaa, miilla isaa,
the Tabernacle with its tent and covering, its clips and frames, its crossbars, posts, and stands;
12 taabota danqaraa isaa wajjin, teessoo araaraatii fi golgaa isa dhoksus,
the Ark with its poles and atonement cover, and the veil to hang over it;
13 minjaala danqaraa isaatii fi miʼa isaa hunda wajjin, buddeena ilaalchaa;
the table with its poles, all its equipment, and the Bread of the Presence;
14 baattuu ibsaa kan ifaaf taʼu miʼa isaa wajjin, ifa sanaafis ibsaa fi zayitii,
the lampstand of light with its equipment and lamps and olive oil to provide lighting;
15 iddoo aarsaa ixaanaa danqaraa isaa wajjin, zayitii ittiin dibanii fi ixaana urgaaʼu, karra ittiin dunkaana qulqulluu seenaniifis golgaa balbalaa,
the altar of incense with its poles; the anointing oil and aromatic incense; the screen for the Tabernacle entrance and all its accessories;
16 iddoo aarsaa kan qalma gubamuu gingilchaa isaa kan naasii irraa hojjetame wajjin, danqaraawwan isaatii fi miʼa isaa hunda, caabii naasii miilla isaa wajjin,
the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grate, its poles and all its utensils; the basin plus its stand;
17 golgaawwan oobdii utubaawwanii fi miillawwan isaanii wajjin, golgaa karra oobdii sanaa,
the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the courtyard entrance;
18 dunkaana qulqulluu fi qofoowwan oobdii dunkaana qulqulluutii fi funyoowwan isaanii,
the tent pegs for the Tabernacle and for the courtyard, as well as their ropes;
19 wayyaawwan foʼamanii dhaʼaman kanneen isaan yeroo iddoo qulqulluu keessa tajaajilan uffataman jechuunis wayyaawwan Aroon lubichaaf qulqulleeffamanii fi wayyaawwan ilmaan isaa yeroo lubummaadhaan tajaajilanitti uffatan haa hojjetan.”
and the woven clothes for serving in the holy place: the sacred clothing for Aaron the priest and for his sons to serve as priests.”
20 Ergasiis hawaasni Israaʼel guutuun Musee biraa baʼanii deeman;
The Israelites left Moses,
21 namni fedhii qabuu fi namni yaadni isaa isa kakaase hundi dhufee hojii dunkaana wal gaʼii sanaatiif, tajaajila isaa hundaa fi hojii wayyaawwan qulqulluu sanaatiif kennaa Waaqayyoof fide.
and all those who felt moved to do so and who had a willing spirit came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work making the Tent of Meeting, for everything required for its services, and for the sacred clothing.
22 Dhiirrii fi dubartiin fedhii qaban hundi miʼa warqee irraa hojjetame kanneen gosa gosaa fidan; bitawoo, lootii, qubeelaa fi faaya fidan. Hundi isaanii iyyuu warqee isaanii aarsaa sochoofamu godhanii Waaqayyoof dhiʼeessan.
So everyone who was willing, both men and women, came and presented their gold as a thanks offering to the Lord, including brooches, earrings, rings, and necklaces—all kinds of gold jewelry.
23 Namni kirrii bifa cuquliisaa, dhiilgee yookaan bildiimaa yookaan quncee talbaa baʼeessa yookaan rifeensa reʼee, kaldhee korbeessa hoolaa kan halluu diimaa cuuphamee fi gogaa duugame qabu hundi ni fide.
Everyone who had blue, purple, and crimson thread, finely-woven linen, goat hair, tanned ram skins, and fine leather, contributed them.
24 Warri kennaa meetii yookaan naasii dhiʼeessan kennaa Waaqayyoof dhiʼeeffamu godhanii fidan. Namni muka laaftoo kan qooda hojii sanaa kamiif iyyuu taʼu qabu hundas ni fide.
Those who could present an offering of silver or bronze brought it as a gift to the Lord. Everyone who had acacia wood for any part of the work donated it.
25 Dubartoonni ogeeyyiin hundis harkaan foʼanii kirrii bifa cuquliisaa, dhiilgee, bildiimaa fi quncee talbaa baʼeessa foʼan sana fidan.
Every woman skilled in spinning with her hands brought what she had spun: blue, purple, or crimson thread, or finely-woven linen.
26 Dubartoonni fedhii fi ogummaa qaban hundinuus rifeensa reʼee foʼan.
All the women who were willing to use their skills spun the goat hair.
27 Bulchitoonni dhagaawwan sardooniksii fi dhagaawwan gati jabeeyyii biraa dirataa fi kiisii qomaatti akka kaaʼatamuuf fidan.
The leaders brought onyx stones and gemstones to make the ephod and breastpiece,
28 Akkasumas urgooftuu fi zayitii ibsaadhaaf, zayitii ittiin dibanii fi ixaana urgaaʼus fidan.
as well as spices and olive oil for lighting, for the anointing oil, and for the aromatic incense.
29 Dhiironnii fi dubartoonni Israaʼel warri fedhii qaban hundi hojii akka isaan hojjetaniif Waaqayyo karaa Museetiin isaan ajaje sana hundaaf fedhii isaaniitiin Waaqayyoof kennaa fidan.
All the Israelite men and women who were willing brought a freewill offering to the Lord for all the work in making what the Lord through Moses had ordered them to do.
30 Yommus Museen saba Israaʼeliin akkana jedhe; “Ilaa Waaqayyo gosa Yihuudaa keessaa Bezaliʼeel ilma Uuri ilma Huuri filateera;
Then Moses told the Israelites, “The Lord chosen by name Bezalel, son of Uri, son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah.
31 Hafuura Waaqaatiin, ogummaadhaan, dandeettii fi beekumsa hojii harkaa gosa hundumaan isa guuteera.
He has filled him with the Spirit of God giving him ability, creativity, and expertise in all kinds of craftsmanship.
32 Kunis akka inni warqeedhaan, meetii fi naasiidhaan hojii ogummaa hojjetuuf,
He can produce designs in gold, silver, and bronze,
33 akka dhagaawwan muree qopheessuuf, akka muka soofuu fi akka hojii ogummaa harkaa kan gosa hundaa keessatti hirmaatuuf.
he can cut gemstones to place in settings, and he can carve wood. He is a master of every craft.
34 Waaqnis Bezaliʼeelii fi Oholiiyaab ilma Ahiisaamaak kan gosa Daan sanaaf dandeettii isaan ittiin warra kaan barsiisan kenne.
The Lord has also given him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others.
35 Akka isaan ogeeyyii hojii harkaa, bifa baastotaa fi warra kirrii bifa cuquliisaatiin, dhiilgeen, bildiimaa fi quncee talbaa baʼeessaan miidhagsanii fi wayyaa dhooftota hundi isaanii ogeeyyii hojii harkaatii fi bifa baastota taʼaniif ogummaa hojii gosa hundaa hojjechuutiin isaan guute.
He has equipped them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and crimson thread, and finely-woven linen, and as weavers—in fact as skilled designers in all kinds of different crafts.
