Baʼuu 25
1 Waaqayyo Museedhaan akkana jedhe;
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Akka isaan kennaa naa fidaniif saba Israaʼelitti himi. Nama garaa isaa guutuudhaan kennuu fedhu hunda harkaa kennaa naa fuudhaa.
Speak to the children of Israel, and take first-fruits of all, who may be disposed in their heart to give; and ye shall take my first-fruits.
3 “Kennaan isaan harkaa fuutanis: “Warqee, meetii fi naasii;
And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold and silver and brass,
4 kirrii bifa cuquliisaa, dhiilgee, bildiimaa fi wayyaa haphii quncee talbaa irraa hojjetame; rifeensa reʼee;
and blue, and purple, and double scarlet, and fine spun linen, and goats' hair,
5 gogaa korbeessa hoolaa kan halluu diimaa cuuphame, gogaa duugame, muka laaftoo,
and rams' skins dyed red, and blue skins, and incorruptible wood,
6 ibsaadhaaf, zayitii ejersaa, urgooftuuwwan immoo zayitii dibatamuu fi ixaana urgaaʼuuf;
and oil for the light, incense for anointing oil, and for the composition of incense,
7 dhagaawwan sardooniksii, dooqa gati jabeessa, dirataa fi qomee irratti kaaʼatamuu dha.
and sardius stones, and stones for the carved work of the breast-plate, and the full-length robe.
8 “Ergasii akka isaan iddoo qulqulluu naa qopheessan godhi; anis gidduu isaanii nan jiraadha.
And thou shalt make me a sanctuary, and I will appear among you.
9 Dunkaana qulqulluu kanaa fi miʼa isaa hunda akkuma bifa ani sitti argisiisuutti hojjedhaa.
And thou shalt make for me according to all things which I shew thee in the mountain; even the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all its furniture: so shalt thou make it.
10 “Isaan muka laaftoo irraa taabota haa tolchan; taabonni sunis dhundhuma lamaa fi walakkaa dheerata; dhundhuma tokkoo fi walakkaa balʼata; dhundhuma tokkoo fi walakkaa ol dheerata ture.
And thou shalt make the ark of testimony of incorruptible wood; the length of two cubits and a half, and the breadth of a cubit and a half, and the height of a cubit and a half.
11 Keessaa fi duuba isaatti warqee qulqulluu uffisi; naannoo isaattis marsaa faaya warqee naannessii tolchi.
And thou shalt gild it with pure gold, thou shalt gild it within and without; and thou shalt make for it golden wreaths twisted round about.
12 Taabota sanaafis qubeelaa warqee afur tolchiitii miilla isaa afranitti jechuunis lama gama tokkoon, lama immoo gama kaaniin itti kaaʼi.
And thou shalt cast for it four golden rings, and shalt put them on the four sides; two rings on the one side, and two rings on the other side.
13 Muka laaftoo irraa danqaraawwan tolchiitii warqee itti uffisi.
And thou shalt make staves [of] incorruptible wood, and shalt gild them with gold.
14 Taaboticha ittiin baachuudhaaf danqaraawwan sana qubeelaawwan keessa loosi.
And thou shalt put the staves into the rings on the sides of the ark, to bear the ark with them.
15 Danqaraawwan kunneen qubeelaawwan taabotichaa keessa haa turan; keessaa baafamuus hin qaban.
The staves shall remain fixed in the rings of the ark.
16 Atis dhuga baʼumsa ani sitti kennu Taaboticha keessa kaaʼi.
And thou shalt put into the ark the testimonies which I shall give thee.
17 “Warqee qulqulluu irraa teessoo araaraa tolchi; dheerinni isaas dhundhuma lamaa fi walakkaa, balʼinni isaa immoo dhundhuma tokkoo fi walakkaa haa taʼu.
And thou shalt make a propitiatory, a lid of pure gold; the length of two cubits and a half, and the breadth of a cubit and a half.
18 Moggaa lamaan teessoo araaraa irratti warqee tumame irraa Kiirubeelii lama tolchi.
And thou shalt make two cherubs graven in gold, and thou shalt put them on both sides of the propitiatory.
19 Kiirubii tokko moggaa tokko irratti, kiirubii lammaffaa immoo moggaa kaan irratti tolchi; kiirubeelii sanas teessoo araaraa wajjin kutaa warqee tokkicha irraa moggaa lamaan irratti tolchi.
They shall be made, one cherub on this side, and another cherub on the other side of the propitiatory; and thou shalt make the two cherubs on the two sides.
20 Kiirubeeliin sun qoochoo isaanii ol balʼifatanii teessoo araaraa ittiin haa gaaddiseessan; Kiirubeeliin kunneen fuula isaanii walitti garagalfatanii teessoo araaraa haa ilaalan.
The cherubs shall stretch forth their wings above, overshadowing the propitiatory with their wings; and their faces shall be toward each other, the faces of the cherubs shall be toward the propitiatory.
21 Teessoo araaraa sana taaboticha irra kaaʼi; dhuga baʼuu ani sitti kennu immoo taaboticha keessa kaaʼi.
And thou shalt set the propitiatory on the ark above, and thou shalt put into the ark the testimonies which I shall give thee.
22 Ani achitti si arga; teessoo araaraa irraa, kiirubeelii lamaan taabota kakuu seeraa irra jiran gidduudhaa waaʼee ajajawwan ani saba Israaʼeliitiif sitti kennu hundaa sittin hima.
And I will make myself known to thee from thence, and I will speak to thee above the propitiatory between the two cherubs, which are upon the ark of testimony, even in all things which I shall charge thee concerning the children of Israel.
23 “Muka laaftoo irraa minjaala dhundhuma lama dalga dheeratu, kan dhundhuma tokko balʼatee ol dheerinni isaa immoo dhundhuma tokkoo fi walakkaa taʼe tolchi.
And thou shalt make a golden table of pure gold, in length two cubits, and in breadth a cubit, and in height a cubit and a half.
24 Warqee qulqulluu itti uffisiitii naannoo isaatti marsaa warqee tolchi.
And thou shalt make for it golden wreaths twisted round about, and thou shalt make for it a crown of an hand-breadth round about.
25 Naannoo isaa irrattis hidhii hamma balʼina harkaa gaʼuu fi faaya warqee tolchi.
And thou shalt make a twisted wreath for the crown round about.
26 Minjaala kanaafis qubeelaa warqee afur hojjedhuutii goleewwan afranitti iddoo miilli afran jiranitti kaaʼi.
And thou shalt make four golden rings; and thou shalt put the four rings upon the four parts of its feet under the crown.
27 Qubeelaawwan kunneenis akka danqaraa ittiin minjaala baatan qabataniif xiyyoo sanatti dhiʼaachuu qabu.
And the rings shall be for bearings for the staves, that they may bear the table with them.
28 Muka laaftoo irraa loosawwan tolchi; warqee itti uffisiitii minjaala sana ittiin baadhu.
And thou shalt make the staves of incorruptible wood, and thou shalt gild them with pure gold; and the table shall be borne with them.
29 Dhibaayyuu dhiʼeessuufis caabiiwwan isaa, waciitiiwwan isaa, okkoteewwan isaatii fi waciitiiwwan isaa warqee qulqulluu irraa tolchi.
And thou shalt make its dishes and its censers, and its bowls, and its cups, with which thou shalt offer drink-offerings: of pure gold shalt thou make them.
30 Buddeena ilaalchaas yeroo hunda fuula koo dura minjaala kana irra kaaʼi.
And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me continually.
31 “Baattuu ibsaas warqee qulqulluu irraa tolchi; baattuun ibsaa kunis tumamee haa tolfamu; somaa isaa, damee isaa, waciitii isaa, hudhaa isaatii fi daraaraa isaa warqeedhuma sana irraa tolchi.
And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold; thou shalt make the candlestick of graven work: its stem and its branches, and its bowls and its knops and its lilies shall be of one piece.
32 Bitaa mirga baattuu ibsaa sana keessaas dameewwan jaʼa jechuunis sadii gama tokkoon, sadii immoo gama kaaniin haa baafaman.
And six branches proceeding sideways, three branches of the candlestick from one side of it, and three branches of the candlestick from the other side.
33 Xoofoowwan lawuzii fakkaatan kanneen tokkoon tokkoon isaanii hudhaa fi daraaraa qaban sadii damee tokko irratti, waciitiiwwan lawuzii fakkaatan kanneen tokkoon tokkoon isaanii hudhaa fi daraaraa qaban sadii immoo damee kaan irratti tolchi; dameewwan jaʼaan baattuu ibsaa irraa babbaʼan hunda irrattis akkasuma tolchi.
And three bowls fashioned like almonds, on each branch a knop and a lily; so to the six branches proceeding from the candlestick,
34 Xoofoowwan hudhaa fi daraaraa qaban kanneen bifa lawuziitiin hojjetaman afur baattuu ibsaa sana irra haa jiraatan.
and in the candlestick four bowls fashioned like almonds, in each branch knops and the flowers of the same.
35 Hudhaan tokko cimdii jalqabaa kan dameewwan baattuu ibsaa irraa babbaʼan jala, hudhaan lammaffaan cimdii lammaffaa jala, hudhaan sadaffaan immoo cimdii sadaffaa jala ture. Walumaa galatti dameewwan jaʼatu ture.
A knop under two branches out of it, and a knop under four branches out of it; so to the six branches proceeding from the candlestick; and in the candlestick four bowls fashioned like almonds.
36 Hudhaawwanii fi dameewwan hundinuu baattuu ibsaa sana wajjin warqeedhuma qulqulluu tumame tokko irraa haa tolfaman.
Let the knops and the branches be of one piece, altogether graven of one piece of pure gold.
37 “Atis ibsaawwan torba tolchiif; akka lafa fuula isaanii dura jiru ibsaniifis baattuu ibsaa irra isaan dhadhaabi.
And thou shalt make its seven lamps: and thou shalt set on [it] the lamps, and they shall shine from one front.
38 Wanni ittiin daaraa isaa dhadhaʼanii fi caabiin daaraa sana baattu warqee qulqulluu irraa haa hojjetaman.
And thou shalt make its funnel and its snuff-dishes of pure gold.
39 Baattuun ibsaatii fi miʼi isaa hundi warqee qulqulluu taalaantii tokkootiin haa hojjetamani.
All these articles [shall be] a talent of pure gold.
40 Atis akkuma fakkeenya tulluu irratti sitti argisiifame sanaatti hojjechuu kee mirkaneeffadhu.
See, thou shalt make them according to the pattern shewed thee in the mount.
