Efesoon 3
1 Sababii kanaaf ani Phaawulos isin Namoota Ormaatiif jedhee hidhamaa Kiristoos Yesuus taʼeera.
Therefore I Paul, the prisoner of Christ for the sake of you Gentiles,
2 Isin dhugumaan waaʼee hojii ayyaana Waaqaa kan isiniif jedhamee natti kenname sanaa dhageessaniirtu;
if indeed you have heard the economy of the grace of God which is given to me unto you;
3 kunis akkuma ani kanaan dura gabaabsee isinii barreessetti icciitii mulʼataatiin natti beeksifame.
that according to revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I formerly wrote to you briefly,
4 Isin yommuu waan kana dubbiftanitti akka ani waaʼee icciitii Kiristoos beekumsa qabu hubachuu ni dandeessu;
according to which you, reading, are able to know my understanding in the mystery of Christ;
5 icciitiin kunis akka amma Hafuuraan ergamootaa fi raajota qulqulloota Waaqaatti mulʼifametti dhaloota kaanitti hin beeksifamne.
which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets through the Spirit;
6 Icciitiin kunis Namoonni Ormaa karaa wangeelaatiin saba Israaʼel wajjin dhaaltota, isaanuma wajjin dhagna tokko, waadaa Kiristoos Yesuusiin kenname keessatti immoo hirmaattota taʼuu isaanii ti.
that the Gentiles are to be fellow-heirs, and the same body, and partakers of the promise of Christ Jesus through the gospel,
7 Anis kennaa ayyaana Waaqaa kan karaa hojii humna isaatiin naa kennameen tajaajilaa wangeela kanaa taʼeera.
whose minister I became, according to the gift of the grace of God which was given unto me; according to the working of his power.
8 Ani qulqulloota hundaa gad taʼu iyyuu akka badhaadhummaa Kiristoos kan qoramee bira hin gaʼamne sana Namoota Ormaatti lallabuuf ayyaanni kun naa kennameera;
To me, the least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
9 akkasumas icciitiin bara dheeraaf Waaqa waan hunda uumeen dhokfamee ture kun maal akka taʼe ani namoota hundaaf akka ibsuuf. (aiōn g165)
and to shine forth what is the economy of the mystery which has been hidden from the ages in God who created all things; (aiōn g165)
10 Kaayyoon isaas akka ogummaan Waaqaa inni dachaa hedduu qabu sun amma karaa waldaa kiristaanaatiin bulchitootaa fi abbootii taayitaa kanneen samii irra jiranitti beeksifamuuf;
in order that the manifold wisdom of God through the church, may now be made known to the governments and authorities in the heavenlies,
11 kunis akkuma kaayyoo isaa kan bara baraa kan inni karaa Gooftaa keenya Yesuus Kiristoosiin raawwate sanaatti ture. (aiōn g165)
according to the purpose of the ages which he made in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōn g165)
12 Nus isaan, amantii isa irratti qabnuun, ija jabinaa fi amanachuudhaan Waaqatti dhiʼaachuu dandeenya.
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through the faith of him.
13 Kanaafuu sababii ani isiniif dhiphachaa jiruuf jettanii akka abdii hin kutanne isin kadhadha; dhiphachuun koo ulfinuma keessan.
Therefore I ask that you faint not in my tribulations in your behalf, which is your glory.
14 Sababii kanaaf ani fuula Abbaa duratti nan jilbeenfadha;
For this cause I bow my knees to the Father,
15 maatiin isaa warri samii irraa fi warri lafa irraa hundinuu maqaa isaanii isa irraa argatu.
of whom the whole family in heavens and upon earth is named,
16 Inni akkuma badhaadhummaa ulfina isaatti karaa Hafuura isaatiin namummaa keessan kan keessaa humnaan akka cimsuuf nan kadhadha;
in order that he may grant unto you, according to the riches of his glory, that you be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 akka Kiristoosis karaa amantiitiin garaa keessan keessa jiraatuuf nan kadhadha. Akka isin hidda gad fageeffattanii jaalalaan dhaabattaniifis nan kadhadha;
that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;
18 isinis jaalalli Kiristoos hammam akka balʼatu, hammam akka dheeratu, hammam akka ol fagaatuu fi hammam akka gad fagaatu qulqulloota hunda wajjin hubachuudhaaf akka humna qabaattaniif,
being rooted and grounded in divine love, in order that you may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height,
19 akka guutama Waaqaa hundaan guutamtaniifis jaalala Kiristoos kan beekumsaa ol taʼe sana akka beektaniif nan kadhadha.
and to know the divine love of Christ which transcends knowledge, in order that you may be filled with all the fulness of God.
20 Waaqa isa humna isaa kan nu keessatti hojjetu sanaan hamma nu kadhannu yookaan hamma nu yaadnu hundumaa olitti akka malee hojjechuu dandaʼu sanaaf,
And to him who is able to do exceedingly above all things which we ask or think, according to the power working in us,
