1 Waaʼee tajaajila qulqullootaaf kennamu kanaa isinii barreessuu na hin barbaachisu.

BUT concerning the administration of the saints, I do more (than enough) if I write to you.

2 Ani akka isin gargaaruuf hinaaftan nan beekaatii; anis, “Warri Akaayaa bara darbee jalqabanii gargaarsa kennuuf qophaaʼaniiru” jedhee namoota Maqedooniyaa biratti of jajeen ture; fedhiin keessanis isaan keessaa namoota baayʼee hojiif kakaaseera.

For I know the goodness of your mind, of which I boasted of you to the Makedunoyee, that Akaia was ready since last year, and your zeal hath stirred up many.

3 Egaa ani akkuman “Isaan qophaaʼaniiru” jedhee dubbadhe sanatti, akka isin qophooftanii argamtaniif malee waaʼee kanaatiif isiniin of jajuun keenya waan akkasumaan dubbatame akka hin taane ani obboloota ergeera.

But I have sent the brethren to you, that our boasting which we boasted of you may not in this affair be vain; but, as I have said, you may be ready:

4 Yoo namoonni Maqedooniyaa kam iyyuu na wajjin dhufanii akka isin hin qophaaʼin argan, nu warri akkas isin amananne iyyuu waaʼee keessan waan jennu dhabnee ni qaanofna.

lest, if the Makedunoyee should come with me, and find you not ready, we be shamed-that I may not say, you be shamed-of the boasting which we have boasted.

5 Kanaafuu akka obboloonni kunneen duraan dursanii gara keessan dhufanii kennaa arjummaa kan isin waadaa galtan sana qopheessaniif isaan gorsuun barbaachisaa natti fakkaate. Yoos kennaan sun akka dirqamaatti utuu hin taʼin akka kennaa arjummaatti qopheeffama.

For this cause I have been careful to entreat of these brethren to go before to you, to make ready that blessing of which you have caused to be heard before; that it may be prepared, so as that it may be a blessing, not as avarice.

6 Waan kana yaadadhaa: Namni harka isaa utuu hin guutin facaasu utuu harka isaa hin guutin galfata; namni harka isaa guutee facaasu immoo harka isaa guutee galfata.

But this, He who soweth with scantiness, with scantiness also reapeth; and he who soweth with blessing, with blessing also shall reap.

7 Tokkoon tokkoon namaa utuu sassataan yookaan dirqamaan hin taʼin waan kennuuf garaa keessatti yaade haa kennu; Waaqni nama gammachuun kennu jaallataatii.

Every man as he hath in his mind: not as of vexation or as of constraint; for a cheerful giver the Lord loveth.

8 Isin yeroo hundumaa waan hundumaan waan isin barbaachisu hunda qabaattanii hojii gaarii hundumaan akka guutamtaniifis Waaqni ayyaana hunda isinii baayʼisuu ni dandaʼa.

For it is in the power of Aloha to increase in you every good, that you may always have every thing sufficient, and that you may abound in every good work.

9 Kunis akkuma, “Inni ni bittinneesse; hiyyeeyyiif ni kenne; qajeelummaan isaa bara baraan ni jiraata” jedhamee barreeffamee dha. (aiōn g165)

As it is written, He hath dispersed and given to the poor, And his righteousness standeth for ever. (aiōn g165)

10 Inni namicha facaasuuf sanyii, kan nyaatuuf immoo buddeena kennu sun isinis akka facaafattaniif sanyii isinii kenna; isinii baayʼisas; ija qajeelummaa keessaniis ni baayʼisa.

But may He who giveth seed to the sower and bread for food, himself give and multiply your seed, and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

11 Isinis yeroo hunda akka arjoomtaniif karaa hundaan ni sooromfamtu; arjummaan keessanis karaa keenyaan Waaqaaf galata fida.

that in every thing you may be enriched in all simplicity, which worketh out through us, thanksgiving to Aloha.

12 Tajaajilli isin kennitan kun waan qulqullootaaf barbaachisu guutuu qofa utuu hin taʼin, akka galanni baayʼeen guutee Waaqaaf irra dhangalaʼu taasisa.

For, on account of the performance of this service, we not only supply the deficiency of the saints, but also cause many thanks givings to abound unto Aloha.

13 Sababii tajaajila isin ittiin of mirkaneessitan sanaatiin, wangeela Kiristoos lallabuun ajajamuu keessanii fi arjummaan keessan kan isin isaanii fi warra kaan hundaaf arjoomtan sanaaf namoonni Waaqa jajatu.

For on account of the proof of this service we glorify Aloha, because you are subject to the confession of the gospel of Meshiha, and you have communicated in simplicity with them and with every man.

14 Isaanis kadhannaa isiniif kadhatan keessatti sababii ayyaana guddaa kan Waaqni isinii kenne sanaatiif isin yaadu.

And prayer they offer on your behalf in great love, on account of the greatness of the grace of Aloha which is upon you.

15 Kennaa isaa kan ibsamuu hin dandeenye sanaaf galanni Waaqaaf haa taʼu!

But thanks to Aloha over his gift which is unspeakable.
