1 Egaa waaʼee buusii qulqullootaaf walitti qabamuu, isinis akkuma ani waldoota kiristaanaa kanneen Galaatiyaa ajaje sanatti raawwadhaa.
But concerning the contribution to the saints, as I commanded the churches of Galatia, so you also do.
2 Akka buusii walitti qabuun yeroo ani dhufutti hin taaneef tokkoon tokkoon keessan akkuma galii keessaniitti torbanuma torbaniin guyyaa jalqabaa waa kophaatti baasaatii kaaʼaa.
On the first day of the week let each one of you lay by with himself treasuring up, that as to whatsoever he may be prospered, in order that there may be no collections at that time when I may come.
3 Anis yeroon isin bira dhufutti akka namoonni isin filattan kennaa keessan geessaniif xalayaa ittiin beekaman kenneefii Yerusaalemitti isaan nan erga.
But when I may be present, whomsoever you may approve by your letters, these will I send to carry away your benefaction to Jerusalem:
4 Yoo dhaquun koo barbaachisaa taʼe immoo isaan na wajjin dhaqu.
if it may be counted worthy for me also to go, they shall go along with me.
5 Ani waanan Maqedooniyaa keessa darbuuf, yeroon Maqedooniyaa keessa darbutti isin bira nan dhufa.
But I will come to you when I may go through Macedonia; for I do go through Macedonia;
6 Akka isin iddoo ani dhaqu hundatti karaa koo irratti na gargaaruu dandeessaniif tarii yeroo xinnoo isin bira nan tura taʼa; yookaan ganna isin bira nan tura taʼa.
and perhaps I may abide with you, and even spend the winter with you, in order that you may send me forward whithersoever I may go.
7 Yoo Gooftaan jedhe ani waanan yeroo muraasa isin bira turuu abdadhuuf, amma utuun darbuu goree isin arguu hin barbaadu.
For I do not wish merely to see you in my journey; for I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord may permit.
8 Hamma guyyaa Pheenxeqoosxeetti garuu Efesoon keessa nan tura.
But I shall abide in Ephesus until Pentecost;
9 Balballi guddaanii fi buʼaa qabeessi tokko naa banameeraatii; mormitoonnis baayʼee dha.
for a door is opened unto me great and effectual, and there are many antagonizing.
10 Yoo Xiimotewos gara keessan dhufe waan innis akkuma koo hojii Gooftaa hojjetuuf yeroo inni isin bira turutti akka inni waa tokko iyyuu hin sodaanne godhaa.
But if Timothy may come, see that he may be with you without fear; for he is doing the work of the Lord, as I also:
11 Kanaaf namni tokko iyyuu isa hin tuffatin; akka inni gara kootti deebiʼuufis nagaadhaan ergaa; ani obboloota wajjin isa eegaan jiraatii.
therefore let no one snub him. But send him forth in peace, in order that he may come to me: for I await him with the brethren.
12 Waaʼee obboleessa keenya Apholoos immoo akka inni obboloota kaan wajjin gara keessan dhufuuf ani jabeessee isa kadhadheen ture. Inni garuu amma dhufuuf gonkumaa fedhii hin qabu; yeroo isaaf mijaaʼutti garuu ni dhufa.
But concerning brother Apollos, I entreated him much, that he may come to you with the brethren: but it was not altogether his will that he may come now; but he will come when he may have opportunity.
13 Dammaqaa; amantiitti cimaatii dhaabadhaa; jajjabaadhaa; cimaas.
Watch, stand in the faith, be men, be strong.
14 Wanni isin hojjettan hundinuu jaalalaan haa taʼu.
Let all your affairs be in divine love.
15 Yaa obboloota, akka warri mana Isxiifaanaas jiraatan Akaayaa keessaa warra jalqabatti amanan taʼan isin ni beektu; isaanis qulqulloota tajaajiluuf of kennaniiru.
But I exhort you, brethren; (know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruit of Achaia, and they have set themselves to minister unto the saints),
16 Anis akka isin namoota akkasiitiif, warra isaan wajjin hojjetanii fi dadhaban hundaaf ajajamtan isinin kadhadha.
in order that you may indeed be in subjection unto such, and to every one laboring with you and toiling.
17 Isxiifaanaas, Fartunaaxoosii fi Akaayiqos na bira dhufuu isaaniitti ani gammadeera; isaan waan asii dhabamuu keessaniin hirʼate guutaniiruutii.
But I rejoice over the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: because they have supplied your deficiency:
18 Isaan hafuura koo fi hafuura keessan boqochiisaniiruutii. Kanaaf isin namoota akkanaatiif beekamtii kennaa.
for they refreshed my spirit and yours. Acknowledge ye therefore them that are such.
19 Waldoonni kiristaanaa kanneen biyya Asiyaa nagaa isiniif dhaamu. Aqiilaa fi Phirisqillaan, waldaan kiristaanaa kan mana isaanii jirtus Gooftaadhaan nagaa guddaa isiniif dhaamu.
The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Prisca along with the church and their house salute you.
20 Obboloonni hundinuu nagaa isinii dhaamu. Dhungoo qulqulluudhaan nagaa wal gaafadhaa.
All the brethren salute you. Salute you one another with a holy kiss.
21 Ani Phaawulos, xalayaa nagaa kana harkuma kootiin barreessa.

22 Namni Gooftaa hin jaallanne kam iyyuu haa abaaramu. Yaa Gooftaa kottu.
If any one loves not the Lord as a friend, let him be anathema Maran atha.
23 Ayyaanni Gooftaa keenya Yesuus isin wajjin haa taʼu.
The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
24 Jaalalli koo Kiristoos Yesuusiin hunduma keessan wajjin haa taʼu. Ameen.
