1 Seenaa 16
1 Isaanis taabota Waaqaa fidanii dunkaana Daawit dhaabeef keessa ni kaaʼan; aarsaa gubamuu fi aarsaa nagaa fuula Waaqaa duratti ni dhiʼeessan.
And they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it; and they offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.
2 Daawitis erga aarsaa gubamuu fi aarsaa nagaa dhiʼeessee booddee maqaa Waaqayyootiin namoota ni eebbise.
And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offerings and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.
3 Ergasiis inni tokkoo tokkoo nama Israaʼeliitiif, dhiiraa fi dubartiif buddeena tokko tokko, gumaa foonii tokko tokkoo fi bixxillee ija wayinii tokko tokko ni kenne.
And he dealt out to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
4 Innis akka isaan fuula taabota Waaqayyoo duratti tajaajilaniif, akka isaan Waaqayyo Waaqa Israaʼel waammataniif, akka isa galateeffatanii fi akka isa jajataniif Lewwota tokko tokko ni muuddate;
And he placed before the ark of the Lord several of the Levites as ministers, and to chaunt hymns, and to give praise and thanks unto the Lord the God of Israel:
5 isaanis Asaaf hangafticha, Zakkaariyaas itti aanaa isaa, itti fufees Yeʼiiʼeel, Shemiiraamoot, Yehiiʼeel, Matiitiyaa, Eliiyaab, Benaayaa, Oobeed Edoomii fi Yeʼiiʼeel faʼi turan. Jarri kunneen kiraaraa fi baganaa taphatu ture; Asaaf immoo kilillee dhageessisa ture;
Assaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah; Je'iel, and Shemiramoth, and Jechiel, and Matthithyah, and Eliab, and Benayahu, and 'Obed-edom; and Je'iel with psalteries and with harps; but Assaph played aloud with the cymbals.
6 Benaayaa fi Yahiziiʼeel luboonni yeroo hunda fuula taabota kakuu Waaqaa duratti malakata afuufu turan.
And Benayahu and Jachaziel the priests were with the trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Daawitis gaafa sana akka Asaafii fi michoota isaa faarfannaa galataa kana Waaqayyoof faarfataniif jalqabatti ajaja kenne:
On that day—then did David appoint for the first time to give thanks to the Lord through means of Assaph and his brethren.
8 Waaqayyoof galata galchaa; maqaa isaas waammadhaa; waan inni hojjetes saboota gidduutti beeksisaa.
O give thanks unto the Lord; call on his name; make known among the people his deeds.
9 Isaaf faarfadhaa; faarfannaadhaan isa galateeffadhaa; waaʼee hojii isaa isa dinqisiisaa hundaas odeessaa.
Sing unto him, sing praises unto him: speak of all his wonderful works.
10 Maqaa isaa qulqulluu sanaan boonaa; garaan warra Waaqayyoon barbaadanii haa gammadu.
Glorify yourselves in his holy name: let the heart of those rejoice that seek the Lord.
11 Waaqayyoo fi humna isaa barbaaddadhaa; yeroo hunda fuula isaa barbaadaa.
Inquire after the Lord and his strength: seek his presence evermore.
12 Dinqii inni hojjete, hojii isaa dinqii sanaa fi murtii inni labse yaadadhaa;
Remember his wonderful works which he hath done, his tokens, and the decrees of his mouth;
13 isin tajaajiltoonni isaa, warri sanyii Israaʼel taatan, isin filatamtoonni isaa, ilmaan Yaaqoobis kana yaadadhaa.
O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his elect.
14 Inni Waaqayyo Waaqa keenya; murtiin isaas lafa hunda irra jira.
He is the Lord our God: over all the earth are his decrees.
15 Inni kakuu isaa bara baraan, waadaa gale sanas dhaloota kumaaf ni yaadata;
Remember ye for ever his covenant, the word which he hath commanded to the thousandth generation.
16 inni kakuu Abrahaam wajjin gale, kakuu Yisihaaqiif kakates ni yaadata.
Which he covenanted with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
17 Kanas Yaaqoobiif seera, Israaʼeliif immoo kakuu bara baraa godhee akkana jedhee mirkaneesseera; innis:
And which he established unto Jacob as a statute, unto Israel as an everlasting covenant;
18 “Ani biyya Kanaʼaan qooda ati dhaaltu godhee, siif nan kenna” jedhe.
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, as the portion of your inheritance;
19 Isaan yeroo lakkoobsaan xinnoo turanitti, dhugumaanuu xinnoo fi biyyattii keessattis keessummoota turanitti,
When ye were but few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
20 sabaa gara sabaatti, mootummaa tokkoo gara mootummaa biraatti jooran.
And when they wandered from one nation to another, and from one kingdom to another people:
21 Inni akka namni tokko iyyuu isaan cunqursu hin eeyyamne; sababii isaaniitiifis akkana jedhee mootota ifate:
He suffered no man to oppress them; yea, he reproved kings for their sake.
22 “Dibamtoota koo hin tuqinaa; raajota koos hin miidhinaa.”
Saying, “Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”—
23 Lafti hundinuu Waaqayyoon faarfadhaa; fayyisuu isaas guyyuma guyyaan labsaa.
Sing unto the Lord all ye lands: announce from day to day his salvation.
24 Ulfina isaa saboota gidduutti, hojii isaa dinqisiisaa sana immoo namoota hunda keessatti labsaa.
Relate among the nations his glory: among all the people his wonderful deeds.
25 Waaqayyo guddaadhaatii galanni baayʼeen isaaf ni mala; inni waaqota hundaa olittis sodaatamuu qaba.
For great is the Lord, and greatly praised; and he is to be feared above all gods.
26 Waaqonni saboota ormaa hundinuu waaqota tolfamoodhaatii; Waaqayyo garuu samiiwwan uume.
For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord hath made the heavens.
27 Miidhaginnii fi surraan fuula isaa dura jiru; jabinnii fi gammachuunis iddoo jireenya isaa jiru.
Majesty and honor are in his presence, strength and gladness are in his place.
28 Yaa maatiiwwan sabootaa, Waaqayyoof kennaa; ulfinaa fi jabina Waaqayyoof kennaa.
Ascribe unto the Lord, O ye families of people, ascribe unto the Lord glory and strength.
29 Ulfina maqaa isaatiif malu Waaqayyoof kennaa. Aarsaa fidaatii fuula isaa duratti dhiʼaadhaa. bareedina qulqullummaa isaatiin Waaqayyoon waaqeffadhaa.
Ascribe unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; take up an offering, and come into his presence; bow down before the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
30 Isin lafti hundinuu fuula isaa duratti holladhaa! Addunyaan jabaattee dhaabatteerti; sochoofamuus hin dandeessu.
Tremble before him, all ye lands! Also the world standeth firmly, that it be not moved.
31 Samiiwwan haa ililchan; laftis haa gammaddu; isaan saboota gidduutti, “Waaqayyo moʼeera!” haa jedhan.
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.
32 Galaannii fi wanni isa keessa jiru hundinuu haa huursu; dirreewwanii fi wanni isaan irra jiran hundinuu haa gammadani!
Let the sea roar, with all that filleth it: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
33 Mukkeen bosonaa haa faarfatan; isaan gammachuudhaan fuula Waaqayyoo duratti haa faarfatan; inni lafatti muruudhaaf ni dhufaatii.
Then shall the trees of the forest sing joyfully at the presence of the Lord; because he cometh to judge the earth.
34 Waaqayyoof galata galchaa; inni gaariidhaatii; jaalalli isaa bara baraan jiraata.
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; because unto everlasting endureth his kindness.
35 Akkana jedhaatii iyyaa; “Yaa Waaqayyo, Fayyisaa keenya, ati nu baasi; akka nu maqaa kee qulqulluu sana galateeffannuuf, akka galata keetiin of jajnuufis, walitti nu qabiitii saboota ormaa jalaa nu oolchi.”
And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, to glorify ourselves in thy praise.
36 Waaqayyo Waaqa Israaʼeliitiif bara baraa hamma bara baraatti galanni haa gaʼu. Kana irratti namni hundinuu, “Ameen; Waaqayyo haa galatoomu” jedhe.
Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel from everlasting even unto everlasting. And all the people said, Amen, and praise unto the Lord.
37 Daawitis akka isaan fuula taabotaa dura yeroo hunda tajaajilaniif, Asaafii fi obboloota isaa achuma fuula taabota kakuu Waaqayyoo duratti isaan dhiise.
And he left there in charge before the ark of the covenant of the Lord Assaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, at the work of every day on its day,
38 Akkasumas Oobeed Edoomii fi warra isaan wajjin hojjetan jaatamii saddeettan akka isaan wajjin tajaajilaniif achitti dhiise. Oobeed Edoom ilmi Yeduutuuniitii fi Hoosaan eegdota balbalaa turan.
And 'Obed-edom with their brethren, sixty and eight, and 'Obed-edom the son of Jeduthun and Chossah to be gatekeepers;
39 Daawit Zaadoq lubichaa fi luboota isa wajjin hojjetan kaan dunkaana Waaqayyoo qulqulluu kan Gibeʼoon keessatti gaara sagadaa irratti argamu biratti dhiise;
And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the Lord, in the high-place that was at Gib'on,
40 kunis isaan akkuma waan Seera Waaqayyoo kan inni Israaʼeliif kenne hunda keessatti barreeffame sanaatti yeroo hunda galgalaa fi ganama iddoo aarsaa gubamuu irratti aarsaa gubamu Waaqayyoof akka dhiʼeessaniif.
To offer burnt-offerings unto the Lord upon the altar of the burnt-offering continually at morning and at evening, and this in accordance with all that is written in the law of the Lord which he had commanded concerning Israel;
41 Isaan wajjinis Heemaanii fi Yeduutuun akkasumas warra akka, “Jaalalli isaa bara baraan jiraata” jedhanii Waaqayyoof galata galchaniif filatamanii maqaan isaanii beekame biraatu ture.
And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were selected who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the Lord, because unto everlasting endureth his kindness;
42 Heemaanii fi Yeduutuun sagalee malakataatiif kilillee dhageessisuu fi akkasumas meeshaa muuziiqaa kan Waaqaa irratti itti gaafatamtoota turan. Ilmaan Yeduutuun immoo karra eegan.
And with them, with Heman and Jeduthun, the trumpets and cymbals to play aloud, and the musical instruments of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be for the service at the gate.
43 Ergasii namoonni hundinuu achii kaʼanii tokkoon tokkoon isaanii gara mana ofii isaatti galan; Daawit immoo maatii ofii eebbisuuf gara manaatti ni deebiʼe.
And all the people went every man to his house; and David turned about to bless his house.
