ଯିଖରୀୟ 2

1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୁଁ ଚକ୍ଷୁ ମେଲି ଅନାଇଲି, ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତରେ ପରିମାପକ ରଜ୍ଜୁଧାରୀ ଏକ ପୁରୁଷକୁ ଦେଖିଲି।

I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

2 ତେବେ ମୁଁ କହିଲି, “ଆପଣ କେଉଁଠାକୁ ଯାଉଅଛନ୍ତି?” ତହୁଁ ସେ ମୋତେ କହିଲେ, “ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ମାପିବା ପାଇଁ, ତହିଁର ଓସାର କେତେ ଓ ତହିଁର ଲମ୍ବା କେତେ, ଏହା ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଯାଉଅଛୁ।”

Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

3 ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ମୋʼ ସଙ୍ଗେ କଥା କହୁଥିବା ଦୂତ ବାହାର ହେଲେ ଓ ଆଉ ଜଣେ ଦୂତ ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବାହାରିଲେ,

And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

4 ପୁଣି, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଦୌଡ଼, ଏହି ଯୁବା ଲୋକକୁ କୁହ ‘ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଓ ପଶୁଗଣର ବାହୁଲ୍ୟ ହେତୁ ତାହା ପ୍ରାଚୀରବିହୀନ ଗ୍ରାମସମୂହର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ବସତି ସ୍ଥାନ ହେବ।

And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

5 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଅଗ୍ନିମୟ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମହିମା ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବା।’”

For I, saith YHWH, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

6 “ଆହେ, ଆହେ, ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶରୁ ପଳାଅ, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି। କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆକାଶର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ-ବାୟୁ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ବିସ୍ତୃତ କରିଅଛୁ, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।

Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith YHWH: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith YHWH.

7 ହେ ବାବିଲର କନ୍ୟା ସହିତ ବାସକାରିଣୀ ସିୟୋନ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ରକ୍ଷାର୍ଥେ ପଳାଅ।

Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

8 କାରଣ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି ଯେଉଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲୁଟିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ସେ ମୋତେ ସମାଦର କରି ପ୍ରେରଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; କାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରେ, ସେ ମୋʼ ର ଚକ୍ଷୁର ପିତୁଳାକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରେ।

For thus saith YHWH of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

9 ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ହଲାଇବି, ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ସେବାକାରୀଗଣର ଲୁଟିତ ବସ୍ତୁ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବେ ଆଉ, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେ ମୋତେ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିବ।

For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that YHWH of hosts hath sent me.

10 ଗୋ ସିୟୋନ କନ୍ୟେ, ଗାନ କରି ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କର କାରଣ ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆସୁଅଛୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାସ କରିବା, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।

Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith YHWH.

11 ପୁଣି, ସେଦିନ ଅନେକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆସକ୍ତ ହେବେ ଓ ମୋର ଲୋକ ହେବେ; ଆଉ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାସ କରିବି, ତହିଁରେ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ମୋତେ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିବ।

And many nations shall be joined to YHWH in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that YHWH of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

12 ଆଉ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପବିତ୍ର ଦେଶରେ ଯିହୁଦାକୁ ଆପଣା ଅଂଶ ରୂପେ ଅଧିକାର କରିବେ ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ମନୋନୀତ କରିବେ।

And YHWH shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

13 ହେ ପ୍ରାଣୀସବୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ନୀରବ ହୁଅ; କାରଣ ସେ ଆପଣା ପବିତ୍ର ଆବାସ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜାଗି ଉଠିଅଛନ୍ତି।”

Be silent, O all flesh, before YHWH: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.
