ରୋମୀୟ 13
1 ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜଣ ଅଧିକାରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କ ବଶୀଭୂତ ହେଉ, କାରଣ ଅଧିକାର କେବଳ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆସେ, ଆଉ ଯେ ସମସ୍ତ ଅଧିକାରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ନିଯୁକ୍ତ।
Every soul to the authorities being above [him] should be subject. Not for there is authority only except (by *N(k)O*) God, those however existing (authorities *k*) by (*k*) God instituted are.
2 ଅତଏବ, ଯେ ଅଧିକାର ପ୍ରତିରୋଧ କରେ, ସେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବିଧାନର ପ୍ରତିରୋଧ କରେ; ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପ୍ରତିରୋଧ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଉପରେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଘଟାଇବେ।
Therefore the [one] resisting the authority the of God ordinance has resisted; those now having resisted upon themselves judgment will bring.
3 କାରଣ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତାମାନେ ସଦାଚାରୀ ପ୍ରତି ଭୟଜନକ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅସଦାଚାରୀ ପ୍ରତି ଭୟଜନକ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ଅଧିକାରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ନିର୍ଭୟ ହେବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କର? ତେବେ ସଦାଚାର କର, ତାହାହେଲେ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ପାଇବ,
The for rulers not are a terror (to the good *N(k)O*) (work *N(K)O*) but (to the evil. *N(k)O*) Do you desire now not to fear the authority? The good do perform and you will have praise from him;
4 କାରଣ ସେ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସେବକ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି ଅସଦାଚାର କର, ତାହାହେଲେ ଭୀତ ହୁଅ, ଯେଣୁ ସେ ନିରର୍ଥକ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଧାରଣ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସେବକ ସ୍ୱରୂପେ ଅସଦାଚାରୀ ପ୍ରତି କ୍ରୋଧ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦଣ୍ଡଦାତା ଅଟନ୍ତି।
Of God for servant he is to you for good. If however evil you shall do, do be afraid; not for in vain the sword he bears. of God for a servant He is an avenger for wrath to the [one] evil doing.
5 ଅତଏବ, କେବଳ କ୍ରୋଧର ଭୟରେ ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ବିବେକ ହେତୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ବଶୀଭୂତ ହେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ।
Therefore necessary [it is] to be subject, not only on account of the wrath but also on account of the conscience.
6 ଯେଣୁ ଏହି କାରଣରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ରାଜସ୍ୱ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଇଥାଅ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସେବକ ସ୍ୱରୂପେ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରବୃତ୍ତ ରହନ୍ତି।
Because of this for also taxes pay you; servants for of God they are upon this very thing attending continually.
7 ଯାହାଙ୍କର ଯାହା ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ତାହା ଦିଅ; ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ରାଜସ୍ୱ ଦେବାକୁ ହୁଏ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ରାଜସ୍ୱ ଦିଅ; ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଳ୍କ ଦେବାକୁ ହୁଏ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଳ୍କ ଦିଅ; ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବାକୁ ହୁଏ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କର; ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ସମାଦର କରିବାକୁ ହୁଏ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସମାଦର କର।
do render (therefore *K*) to all their dues, to whom the tax the tax, to whom the revenue the revenue, to whom the respect the respect, to whom the honor the honor.
8 ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରିବା ବିନା ଆଉ କାହିଁରେ କାହାରିଠାରେ ଋଣୀ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ଯେ ପରକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରେ, ସେ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ସଫଳ କରିଅଛି।
To no one nothing do owe only except one another to love; the [one] for loving the other [the] Law has fulfilled;
9 କାରଣ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କର ନାହିଁ, ନରହତ୍ୟା କର ନାହିଁ, ଚୋରି କର ନାହିଁ, ଲୋଭ କର ନାହିଁ, ପୁଣି, ଯଦି ଆଉ କୌଣସି ଆଜ୍ଞା ଥାଏ, ତାହା ସାରଭାବେ ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟର ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଅଟେ, ଯଥା, ପ୍ରତିବାସୀକୁ ଆତ୍ମତୁଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରେମ କର।
For Not you will commit adultery, Not you will murder, Not you will steal (not will you bear false witness *K*) Not you will covet, and if any other commandment, in word this it is summed up, in the [saying] You will love the neighbour of you as (yourself. *NK(O)*)
10 ପ୍ରେମ ପ୍ରତିବାସୀର ଅନିଷ୍ଟ କରେ ନାହିଁ; ଅତଏବ, ପ୍ରେମ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ସଫଳ କରେ।
Love to the neighbour evil not does do; [the] fulfillment therefore of [the] law love [is].
11 ପୁଣି, ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ନିଦ୍ରାରୁ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହେବାର ସମୟ ଯେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ, ଏହା ଜାଣି ଏହିସବୁ କର; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବାର ଦିନଠାରୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧିକ ସନ୍ନିକଟ।
And this knowing the time, that [it is the] hour already ([for] you *N(k)O*) out of sleep to awaken; now for nearer [is] of us the salvation than when first we believed;
12 ରାତ୍ରି ପାହାନ୍ତା ହେଉଅଛି, ଦିବସ ସନ୍ନିକଟ; ଅତଏବ ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରର କର୍ମସବୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ଆଲୋକର ସଜ୍ଜା ପରିଧାନ କରୁ।
The night is nearly over and the day has drawn near. (We may cast off *NK(o)*) therefore the works of darkness, (and *k*) we may put on (now *no*) the armor of light.
13 ରଙ୍ଗରସ ଓ ମତ୍ତତାରେ, ଲମ୍ପଟତା ଓ କାମୁକତାରେ, ବିବାଦ ଓ ଈର୍ଷାରେ ଆଚରଣ ନ କରି ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦିବସର ବିହିତ ଭଦ୍ର ଆଚରଣ କରୁ।
As in daytime properly we may walk, not in reveling and in drinking, not in sexual immorality and in sensuality, not in dissension and in jealousy;
14 ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବସ୍ତ୍ରରୂପେ ପରିଧାନ କର, ଆଉ କୁଅଭିଳାଷ ତୃପ୍ତି କରିବା ସକାଶେ ଶରୀର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆୟୋଜନ କର ନାହିଁ।
But do put on the Lord Jesus Christ and of the flesh provision not do make for desires.
