ଗୀତସଂହିତା 94
1 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ପ୍ରତିଫଳଦାତା ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ହେ ପ୍ରତିଫଳଦାତା ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ଆପଣା କ୍ରୋଧ ଦେଖାଅ।
The Lord is a God of vengeance! God of vengeance, shine out!
2 ହେ ପୃଥିବୀର ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତା, ଉଠ; ଅହଙ୍କାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ମାନୁସାରେ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦିଅ।
Stand up, judge of the earth, and pay back those who are proud what they deserve.
3 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ କେତେ କାଳ, ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ କେତେ କାଳ ଜୟଧ୍ୱନି କରିବେ?
How long, Lord? How long will the wicked celebrate in triumph?
4 ସେମାନେ କେତେ କାଳ ଅହଙ୍କାରରେ କଥା ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣ କରି କହିବେ? ଅଧର୍ମାଚାରୀ ସମସ୍ତେ ଦର୍ପ କରନ୍ତି।
How long will you let them pour out their arrogant words? How long will these evil people go on boasting?
5 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅଧିକାରକୁ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
Lord, they crush your people; they oppress those you call your own.
6 ସେମାନେ ବିଧବା, ବିଦେଶୀକୁ ବଧ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ପିତୃହୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ୟା କରନ୍ତି।
They kill widows and foreigners; they murder orphans.
7 ପୁଣି, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦେଖିବେ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଯାକୁବର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ବିବେଚନା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, ଏହା ସେମାନେ କହନ୍ତି।”
They say, “The Lord can't see what we're doing. Israel's God doesn't pay any attention to us.”
8 ହେ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପଶୁବତ୍ ଲୋକେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିବେଚନା କର; ହେ ମୂଢ଼ଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କେବେ ଜ୍ଞାନବାନ ହେବ?
Take another look, you stupid people! Fools—when will you ever get the point?
9 ଯେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୋପଣ କଲେ, ସେ କି ଶୁଣିବେ ନାହିଁ? ଯେ ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଗଢ଼ିଲେ, ସେ କି ଦେଖିବେ ନାହିଁ?
Do you think the creator of the ear can't hear? Do you think the maker of the eye can't see?
10 ଯେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗକୁ ଶାସନ କରନ୍ତି, ଯେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ସେ କି ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ?
Do you think that the one who punishes nations won't punish you too? Do you think that the one who teaches human beings knowledge doesn't know anything?
11 ମନୁଷ୍ୟର କଳ୍ପନାସବୁ ଅସାର ବୋଲି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜାଣନ୍ତି।
The Lord knows the thoughts of human beings—he knows they are pointless.
12 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗର୍ତ୍ତ ଖୋଳା ହେବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବିପଦ କାଳରୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ,
Those you discipline are happy, Lord; those you teach from your Law.
13 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାହାକୁ ଶାସନ କର ଓ ଆପଣା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାରୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅ, ସେ ଲୋକ ଧନ୍ୟ।
You give them peace in days of trouble, until a pit is dug to trap the wicked.
14 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୂର କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଆପଣା ଅଧିକାର ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
For the Lord will not give up on his people; he will not abandon his own.
15 ଯେହେତୁ ଶାସନ ଧର୍ମ ପକ୍ଷରେ ବାହୁଡ଼ିବ; ପୁଣି, ସରଳାନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତେ ତହିଁର ଅନୁଗାମୀ ହେବେ।
Justice will once again be based on what is right; those who are sincere will support it.
16 କିଏ ମୋହର ସପକ୍ଷ ହୋଇ କୁକର୍ମକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉଠିବ? କିଏ ମୋହର ସପକ୍ଷ ହୋଇ ଅଧର୍ମାଚାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଠିଆ ହେବ?
Who came to my defense against the wicked; who stood up for me against those who do evil?
17 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ସହାୟ ହୋଇ ନ ଥିଲେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ଶୀଘ୍ର ନୀରବ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବାସ କରିଥାʼନ୍ତା।
If the Lord hadn't helped me, I would have soon gone down into the silence of the grave.
18 “ମୋହର ପାଦ ଖସି ଯାଉଛି” ବୋଲି କହିଲା ବେଳେ, ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୟା ମୋତେ ଧରି ରଖିଲା।
I shouted out, “My foot's slipping!” and your trustworthy love, Lord, kept me from falling.
19 ମୋʼ ଆନ୍ତରିକ ଭାବନାର ବାହୁଲ୍ୟ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନାସବୁ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଆହ୍ଲାଦିତ କରେ।
When my mind was full of worries, you comforted me and encouraged me.
20 ବିଧାନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉପଦ୍ରବ-ରଚନାକାରୀ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାରୂପ ସିଂହାସନର କି ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧତା ହେବ?
Can unjust judges really be on your side, Lord, when their corrupt use of the law causes misery?
21 ସେମାନେ ଧାର୍ମିକର ପ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଦଳବଦ୍ଧ ହୁଅନ୍ତି ଓ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ ରକ୍ତକୁ ଦୋଷୀ କରନ୍ତି।
They work together to destroy good people; they condemn those who are innocent to death.
22 ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ଉଚ୍ଚ ଦୁର୍ଗ ଓ ମୋʼ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋହର ଆଶ୍ରୟ ଶୈଳ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
But the Lord protects me like a fortress; my God is the rock that keeps me safe.
23 ପୁଣି, ସେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧର୍ମ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତାଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିଜ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବେ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବେ।
He will turn the wickedness of evil people back upon them; he will destroy them because of their sins; the Lord our God will destroy them.
