ଗୀତସଂହିତା 90
1 ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ ମୋଶାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା। ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୁରୁଷାନୁକ୍ରମରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବାସସ୍ଥାନ ହୋଇ ଆସିଅଛ।
The preier of Moises, the man of God. Lord, thou art maad help to vs; fro generacioun in to generacioun.
2 ପର୍ବତଗଣର ଉତ୍ପତ୍ତିର ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପୃଥିବୀ ଓ ଜଗତର ସୃଷ୍ଟିର ପୂର୍ବଠାରୁ ଅନାଦିକାଳରୁ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟ।
Bifore that hillis weren maad, ether the erthe and the world was formed; fro the world and in to the world thou art God.
3 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମର୍ତ୍ତ୍ୟକୁ ଧୂଳିରେ ଲୀନ କରୁଅଛ। ପୁଣି, କହୁଅଛ, “ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ଫେର।”
Turne thou not awei a man in to lownesse; and thou seidist, Ye sones of men, be conuertid.
4 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ସହସ୍ର ବର୍ଷ ଗତ କାଲିର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ରାତ୍ରିର ଏକ ପ୍ରହରର ସମାନ।
For a thousynde yeer ben bifore thin iyen; as yistirdai, which is passid, and as keping in the niyt.
5 ଯେପରି ପ୍ଲାବନରେ, ସେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭସାଇ ନେଉଅଛ; ସେମାନେ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ତୁଲ୍ୟ। ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳରେ ସେମାନେ ବଢ଼ନ୍ତା ତୃଣ ତୁଲ୍ୟ।
The yeeris of hem schulen be; that ben had for nouyt.
6 ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳରେ ତାହା ସତେଜ ହୋଇ ବଢ଼ଇ; ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାକାଳରେ ତାହା କଟାଯାଇ ଶୁଖଇ।
Eerli passe he, as an eerbe, eerli florische he, and passe; in the euentid falle he doun, be he hard, and wexe drie.
7 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଉ, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ କୋପରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବ୍ୟସ୍ତ ହେଉ।
For we han failid in thin ire; and we ben disturblid in thi strong veniaunce.
8 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅପରାଧ ଆପଣା ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଗୁପ୍ତ ପାପ ଆପଣା ମୁଖର ଦୀପ୍ତିରେ ରଖିଅଛ।
Thou hast set oure wickidnessis in thi siyt; oure world in the liytning of thi cheer.
9 କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସକଳ ଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭ କୋପରେ ବହିଯାଏ; କଥିତ କାହାଣୀ ପରି ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବର୍ଷ ସମାପ୍ତ କରୁଥାଉ।
For alle oure daies han failid; and we han failid in thin ire. Oure yeris schulen bithenke, as an yreyn;
10 ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଆୟୁର ପରିମାଣ ସତୁରି ବର୍ଷ, ଅବା ବଳ ସକାଶୁ ଅଶୀ ବର୍ଷ ହୁଏ; ତଥାପି ତହିଁର ବଳ ଓ ପରିଶ୍ରମ ଦୁଃଖ ମାତ୍ର; କାରଣ ତାହା ଶୀଘ୍ର ବହିଯାଏ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଉଡ଼ିଯାଉ।
the daies of oure yeeris ben in tho seuenti yeeris. Forsothe, if fourescoor yeer ben in myyti men; and the more tyme of hem is trauel and sorewe. For myldenesse cam aboue; and we schulen be chastisid.
11 ତୁମ୍ଭ କ୍ରୋଧର ପ୍ରବଳତା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଉପଯୁକ୍ତ ଭୟ ପ୍ରମାଣେ ତୁମ୍ଭର କୋପ କିଏ ବୁଝେ?
Who knew the power of thin ire; and durste noumbre thin ire for thi drede?
12 ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜ୍ଞାନବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ପାଇ ପାରିବୁ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଦିନର ଗଣନା କରିବାକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅ।
Make thi riythond so knowun; and make men lerned in herte bi wisdom.
13 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଫେର; କେତେ କାଳ? ଆପଣା ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ହୁଅ।
Lord, be thou conuertid sumdeel; and be thou able to be preied on thi seruauntis.
14 ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୟାରେ ତୃପ୍ତ କର; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ହୃଷ୍ଟ ଓ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେବା।
We weren fillid eerli with thi merci; we maden ful out ioye, and we delitiden in alle oure daies.
15 ଯେତେ ଦିନ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୁଃଖ ଦେଇଅଛ ଓ ଯେତେ ବର୍ଷ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଦେଖିଅଛୁ, ତଦନୁସାରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ କର।
We weren glad for the daies in whiche thou madist vs meke; for the yeeris in whiche we siyen yuels.
16 ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସଗଣ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭର କର୍ମ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭର ମହିମା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଉ।
Lord, biholde thou into thi seruauntis, and in to thi werkis; and dresse thou the sones of hem.
17 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ସୌନ୍ଦର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଅଧିଷ୍ଠାନ କରୁ; ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତକୃତ କର୍ମ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ସ୍ଥାୟୀ କର; ହଁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତକୃତ କର୍ମ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ଥାୟୀ କର।
And the schynyng of oure Lord God be on vs; and dresse thou the werkis of oure hondis on vs, and dresse thou the werk of oure hondis.
