ଗୀତସଂହିତା 89
1 ଇଷ୍ରାହୀୟ ଏଥନ୍ର ମସ୍କୀଲ୍। ମୁଁ ସର୍ବଦା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିବିଧ ଦୟା ବିଷୟ ଗାନ କରିବି; ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ମୁଖରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତା ସମସ୍ତ ପିଢ଼ି ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବି।
An Instructive Psalm, by Ethan the Ezrahite. The lovingkindnesses of Yahweh, age-abidingly will I sing, To generation after generation, will I make known thy faithfulness with my mouth.
2 କାରଣ ଦୟା ସଦାକାଳ ଗଢ଼ାଯିବ ବୋଲି ମୁଁ କହିଅଛି; “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତା ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ହିଁ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବ।”
For I said, To times age-abiding, shall lovingkindness be built up, As for the heavens, thou wilt establish thy faithfulness therein.
3 “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକ ସଙ୍ଗେ ନିୟମ କରିଅଛୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ଦାଉଦ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଶପଥ କରିଅଛୁ।
I have solemnised a covenant, for my chosen one, I have sworn unto David my servant:
4 ‘ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶକୁ ସଦାକାଳ ସୁସ୍ଥିର କରିବା ଓ ପୁରୁଷ-ପରମ୍ପରା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସିଂହାସନ ଗଢ଼ିବା।’” (ସେଲା)
Unto times age-abiding, will I establish thy seed, And will build up, unto generation after generation, thy throne. (Selah)
5 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରିୟାର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବ, ମଧ୍ୟ ପବିତ୍ରଗଣର ସମାଜରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତାର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବ।
So shall the heavens praise thy wondrousness, O Yahweh, —Yea, thy faithfulness, in the convocation of holy ones.
6 କାରଣ ଆକାଶରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ କାହାର ଉପମା କରାଯାଇପାରେ? ଯେଉଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ପବିତ୍ରଗଣର ସଭାରେ ଅତି ଭୟଙ୍କର
For whom, in the skies, can one compare unto Yahweh? [Or] can one liken unto Yahweh, among the sons of the mighty?
7 ଓ ଆପଣା ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଭୟଯୋଗ୍ୟ, ସେହି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ବିକ୍ରମୀ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିଏ ଅଛି?
A GOD inspiring awe in the circle of the holy ones, exceedingly, And to be reverenced above all who are round about him.
8 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ବିକ୍ରମୀ କିଏ? ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତା ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ବିଦ୍ୟମାନ।
O Yahweh, God of hosts! Who, like thee, is mighty, O Yah! With thy faithfulness round about thee:
9 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ଅହଙ୍କାର ଉପରେ କର୍ତ୍ତୃତ୍ୱ କରୁଅଛ; ତହିଁର ତରଙ୍ଗମାଳା ଉଠିବା ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେସବୁ ଶାନ୍ତ କରୁଅଛ।
Thou, rulest over the swelling of the sea, When the rolling waves thereof lift themselves, Thou, dost bid them be still:
10 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ରାହବକୁ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି ହତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିର ସମାନ କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବଳିଷ୍ଠ ବାହୁରେ ନିଜ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କରିଅଛ।
Thou, hast crushed—as one slain—Rahab, With thy strong arm, hast thou scattered thy foes.
11 ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ତୁମ୍ଭର, ପୃଥିବୀ ହିଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜଗତ ଓ ତହିଁର ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣତା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଅଛ।
Thine, are the heavens, Yea, thine, the earth, The world and the fulness thereof, Thou, didst found them;
12 ଉତ୍ତର ଓ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦିଗ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଅଛ; ତାବୋର ଓ ହର୍ମୋଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି,
The north and the south, Thou, didst create them, —Tabor and Hermon, with thy Name, shall shout for joy:
13 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ବାହୁବିଶିଷ୍ଟ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତ ବଳବାନ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ଉଚ୍ଚ।
Thine is an arm with might, Strong is thy hand, High is thy right hand;
14 ଧର୍ମ ଓ ନ୍ୟାୟବିଚାର ତୁମ୍ଭ ସିଂହାସନର ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ; ଦୟା ଓ ସତ୍ୟତା ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମ୍ମୁଖଗାମୀ।
Righteousness and justice, are the establishing of thy throne, Lovingkindness and faithfulness, go before thy face.
15 ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକେ ଆନନ୍ଦଧ୍ୱନି ଜାଣନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଧନ୍ୟ; ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମୁଖର ଦୀପ୍ତିରେ ଗମନାଗମନ କରନ୍ତି।
How happy are the people who know the joyful sound! O Yahweh! in the light of thy countenance, shall they firmly march along;
16 ସେମାନେ ସାରାଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଧାର୍ମିକତାରେ ସେମାନେ ଉନ୍ନତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
In thy Name, shall they exult all the day, And, in thy righteousness, shall they be exalted.
17 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବଳର ଗୌରବ ସ୍ୱରୂପ; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶୃଙ୍ଗ ଉନ୍ନତ ହେବ।
For, the beauty of their strength, thou art, And, in thine acceptance, shall our horns be exalted.
18 କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଢାଲ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପଙ୍କର।
For, to Yahweh, belongeth our Shield, And, to the Holy One of Israel, belongeth our King.
19 ସେସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସଦ୍ଭକ୍ତମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇ କଥା କହିଲ, ପୁଣି, କହିଲ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏକ ବିକ୍ରମୀ ଉପରେ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବାର ଭାର ଦେଇଅଛୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ମନୋନୀତ ଏକ ଜଣକୁ ଉନ୍ନତ କରିଅଛୁ।
Then spakest thou in vision of thy men of lovingkindness, and saidst—I have laid help upon a mighty one, I have exalted one chosen from among the people;
20 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ପାଇଅଛୁ; ଆମ୍ଭ ପବିତ୍ର ତୈଳରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ କରିଅଛୁ;
I have found David my servant, With mine own holy oil, have I anointed him;
21 ଆମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗରେ ସ୍ଥିରୀକୃତ ହୋଇ ରହିବ; ମଧ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭର ବାହୁ ତାହାକୁ ବଳବାନ କରିବ।
With whom my hand shall be firm, Yea, mine arm, shall strengthen him;
22 ଶତ୍ରୁ ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଉପଦ୍ରବ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; କିଅବା ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାର ସନ୍ତାନ ତାହାକୁ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେବ ନାହିଁ।
No foe shall make exactions on him, Nor shall, a son of perversity, humiliate him;
23 ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣକୁ ତାହା ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିବା ଓ ତାହାର ଘୃଣାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରିବା।
And I will shatter, from before him, his adversaries, And, them who hate him, will I smite;
24 ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତା ଓ ଦୟା ତାହାର ସହବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେବ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମରେ ତାହାର ଶୃଙ୍ଗ ଉନ୍ନତ ହେବ।
And, my faithfulness and my lovingkindness, shall be with him, And, in my Name, exalted shall be his horn;
25 ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଉପରେ ତାହାର ହସ୍ତ ଓ ନଦୀସମୂହ ଉପରେ ତାହାର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା।
And I will set, in the sea, his hand, And, in the rivers, his right hand;
26 ସେ ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଡାକି କହିବ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭର ପିତା, ଆମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ଶୈଳ।’
He, shall cry out unto me, My Father, thou art, My GOD, and my Rock of Salvation!
27 ଆମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହାକୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ, ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ରାଜାଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ କରିବା।
Yea, I, will appoint him, firstborn, Most High to the kings of the earth!
28 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ତାହା ପକ୍ଷରେ ଆପଣା ଦୟା ରଖିବା, ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭର ନିୟମ ତାହା ପକ୍ଷରେ ସୁସ୍ଥିର ହେବ।
Age-abidingly, will I keep for him my lovingkindness, And, my covenant, hath been made steadfast for him;
29 ମଧ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ବଂଶକୁ ନିତ୍ୟସ୍ଥାୟୀ କରିବା ଓ ତାହାର ସିଂହାସନକୁ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳର ଆୟୁର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥିର କରିବା।
Therefore will I appoint, to futurity, his seed, And his throne as the days of the heavens.
30 ଯଦି ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଆମ୍ଭର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ଶାସନରେ ନ ଚାଲନ୍ତି;
If his sons forsake my law, And, in my regulations, do not walk;
31 ଯଦି ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ବିଧି ଲଙ୍ଘନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଆଜ୍ଞାସବୁ ନ ପାଳନ୍ତି;
If, my statutes, they profane, And, my commandments, do not keep:
32 ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯଷ୍ଟି ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅପରାଧର ଓ ପ୍ରହାର ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧର୍ମର ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେବା।
Then will I punish, with a rod, their transgression; And, with stripes, their iniquity:
33 ମାତ୍ର ତାହାଠାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦୟା ଏକାନ୍ତ ନେବା ନାହିଁ; କିଅବା ଆମ୍ଭ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତାର ତ୍ରୁଟି ହେବାକୁ ଦେବା ନାହିଁ।
But, my lovingkindness, will I not frustrate from them, Neither will I falsify my faithfulness;
34 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନିୟମ ଲଙ୍ଘନ କରିବା ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଆପଣା ଓଷ୍ଠାଧରରୁ ନିର୍ଗତ କଥା ଅନ୍ୟଥା କରିବା ନାହିଁ।
I will not violate my covenant, And that which hath proceeded out of my lips, will I not alter:
35 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପବିତ୍ରତା ଘେନି ଥରେ ଶପଥ କରିଅଛୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ମିଥ୍ୟା କହିବା ନାହିଁ।
One thing, have I sworn by my holiness, Verily, to David, will I not lie;
36 ତାହାର ବଂଶ ସଦାକାଳ ରହିବ ଓ ତାହାର ସିଂହାସନ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ରହିବ।
His seed, age-abidingly, shall remain, And, his throne, be like the sun before me;
37 ତାହା ସଦାକାଳ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ଆକାଶସ୍ଥ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ସାକ୍ଷୀ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥିରୀକୃତ ହେବ।” (ସେଲା)
Like the moon, shall it be established unto times age-abiding, And, a witness, in the skies, hath been made sure. (Selah)
38 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୂର କରି ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କରିଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ ପ୍ରତି କ୍ରୁଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇଅଛ।
Yet, thou thyself, hast cast off, and rejected, Thou hast been wroth with thine Anointed One!
39 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦାସର ନିୟମ ଘୃଣା କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ମୁକୁଟ ଭୂମିରେ ପକାଇ ଅଶୁଚି କରିଅଛ।
Thou hast cast down the covenant of thy Servant, Thou hast profaned, to the earth, his crown;
40 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ସବୁ ବାଡ଼ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ଦୃଢ଼ ଗଡ଼ସବୁ ଉଜାଡ଼ କରିଅଛ।
Thou hast broken down all his defenses, Thou hast laid his fortresses in ruins;
41 ପଥ ଦେଇ ଯିବା ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତେ ତାହାକୁ ଲୁଟ କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କର ନିନ୍ଦାପାତ୍ର ହୋଇଅଛି।
All the passers by the way, have plundered him, He hath become a reproach to his neighbours;
42 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ବିପକ୍ଷମାନଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ଉନ୍ନତ କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ସକଳ ଶତ୍ରୁଙ୍କୁ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ କରିଅଛ।
Thou hast raised the right hand of his adversaries, Thou hast gladdened all his enemies;
43 ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ଖଡ୍ଗଧାର ଫେରାଉଅଛ ଓ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ତାହାକୁ ଛିଡ଼ା ହେବାକୁ ଦେଇ ନାହଁ।
Yea thou hast turned the edge of his sword, Neither hast thou caused him to stand in the battle;
44 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ରାଜଦଣ୍ଡ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କରିଅଛ ଓ ତାହାର ସିଂହାସନ ଭୂମିକୁ ପକାଇ ଦେଇଅଛ।
Thou hast brought to an end his splendour, And, his throne—to the ground, hast thou hurled;
45 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ଯୌବନ ଦିନ ହ୍ରାସ କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲଜ୍ଜାରେ ତାହାକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ କରିଅଛ। (ସେଲା)
Thou hast shortened the days of his youths, —Thou hast covered him with shame. (Selah)
46 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, କେତେ କାଳ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ସଦାକାଳ ଆପଣାକୁ ଲୁଚାଇବ? କେତେ କାଳ ତୁମ୍ଭର କୋପ ଅଗ୍ନି ପରି ଜ୍ୱଳିବ?
How long, O Yahweh, Wilt thou hide thyself utterly? Shall thine indignation, burn like fire?
47 ଆହେ, ମୋହର ସମୟ କିପରି ଅଳ୍ପ, ଏହା ସ୍ମରଣ କର; ତୁମ୍ଭେ କିପରି ଅସାରତା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଅଛ!
Remember how short-lived, I, am, Wherefore, in vain, hast thou created all the sons of Adam?
48 ଯେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁ ନ ଦେଖି ଜୀବିତ ରହିବ ଓ ପାତାଳର ପରାକ୍ରମରୁ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବ, ଏପରି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ କିଏ? (Sheol h7585)
Who is the man that shall live, and not see death? That can deliver his soul from the hand of hades. (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
49 ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଯାହା ଶପଥ କରିଥିଲ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେହି ପୂର୍ବ ବିବିଧ ଦୟା କାହିଁ?
Where are thy former lovingkindnesses, O My Lord? Thou didst swear unto David, in thy faithfulness!
50 ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସମାନଙ୍କର ନିନ୍ଦା ସ୍ମରଣ କର ଓ ମୁଁ ପରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗର ନିନ୍ଦା କିପ୍ରକାରେ ଆପଣା ବକ୍ଷସ୍ଥଳରେ ବହୁଅଛି, ଏହା ସ୍ମରଣ କର।
Remember, O My Lord, the reproach of thy servants, I have carried in my bosom the insult of the peoples:
51 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ନିନ୍ଦା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତଙ୍କ ପଦଚିହ୍ନକୁ ନିନ୍ଦା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
In that thy foes have reproached, O Yahweh, In that they have reproached the footsteps of thine Anointed One!
52 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ଧନ୍ୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ, ଆମେନ୍, ଆମେନ୍।
Blessed be Yahweh to times age-abiding, Amen, and Amen!
