ଗୀତସଂହିତା 84
1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗିତ୍ତୀତ୍ ସ୍ୱରରେ କୋରହ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଗୀତ। ହେ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆବାସ କିପରି ପ୍ରିୟତମ!
The salm of the sones of Chore. Lord of vertues, thi tabernaclis ben greetli loued;
2 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ଲାଳସା କରେ, ମଧ୍ୟ ମୂର୍ଚ୍ଛିତ ହୁଏ; ମୋହର ହୃଦୟ ଓ ଶରୀର ଜୀବିତ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଡକା ଛାଡ଼ଇ।
my soule coueitith, and failith in to the porchis of the Lord. Myn herte and my fleische; ful out ioyeden in to quyk God.
3 ହଁ, ଘରଚଟିଆ ଆପଣା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଗୃହ ଓ ଖଞ୍ଜନପକ୍ଷୀ ଛୁଆ ରଖିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ବସା ପାଇଅଛି, ହେ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋହର ରାଜନ୍ ଓ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନ,
For whi a sparewe fyndith an hous to it silf; and a turtle fyndith a neste to it silf, where it `schal kepe hise bryddis. Lord of vertues, thin auteris; my king, and my God.
4 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୃହରେ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଧନ୍ୟ; ସେମାନେ ନିରନ୍ତର ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁଥିବେ। (ସେଲା)
Lord, blessid ben thei that dwellen in thin hous; thei schulen preise thee in to the worldis of worldis.
5 ଯାହାର ବଳ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଥାଏ, ଯାହାର ହୃଦୟରେ ସିୟୋନଗାମୀ ରାଜପଥ ଥାଏ, ସେ ଲୋକ ଧନ୍ୟ।
Blessid is the man, whos help is of thee; he hath disposid stiyngis in his herte,
6 ସେମାନେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ ଉପତ୍ୟକାରେ ଗମନ କରୁ କରୁ ତାହାକୁ ଝରଣା ସ୍ଥାନ କରନ୍ତି; ଆଦ୍ୟ ବୃଷ୍ଟି ନାନା ମଙ୍ଗଳରେ ତାହା ଭୂଷିତ କରେ।
in the valei of teeris, in the place which he hath set.
7 ସେମାନେ ଉତ୍ତରୋତ୍ତର ବଳବାନ ହୋଇ ଅଗ୍ରସର ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ସିୟୋନରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
For the yyuer of the lawe schal yyue blessyng, thei schulen go fro vertu in to vertu; God of goddis schal be seyn in Sion.
8 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋହର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣ; ହେ ଯାକୁବର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, କର୍ଣ୍ଣପାତ କର। (ସେଲା)
Lord God of vertues, here thou my preier; God of Jacob, perseyue thou with eeris.
9 ହେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଢାଲ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ଦୃଷ୍ଟିପାତ କର ଓ ଆପଣା ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତଙ୍କ ମୁଖକୁ ଅନାଅ।
God, oure defender, biholde thou; and biholde in to the face of thi crist.
10 କାରଣ ସହସ୍ର ଦିନ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣରେ ଏକ ଦିନ ଭଲ; ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାର ତମ୍ବୁରେ ବାସ କରିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଆମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ଦ୍ୱାରୀ ହେବାର ବରଞ୍ଚ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଭଲ ଜାଣୁ।
For whi o dai in thin hallis is bettere; than a thousynde. I chees to be `an out cast in the hous of my God; more than to dwelle in the tabernaclis of synneris.
11 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଓ ଢାଲ ଅଟନ୍ତି; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଓ ଗୌରବ ଦେବେ; ସେ ସରଳାଚାରୀମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ କୌଣସି ମଙ୍ଗଳ ବିଷୟ ଅଟକାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।
For God loueth merci and treuthe; the Lord schal yyue grace and glorie.
12 ହେ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଶରଣ ନିଏ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।
He schal not depriue hem fro goodis, that gon in innocence; Lord of vertues, blessid is the man, that hopith in thee.
