1 ଆସଫର ଗୀତ। ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ସେ ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କ ବିଚାର କରନ୍ତି।

2 “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କେତେ କାଳ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ବିଚାର କରିବ? ଓ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କର ମୁଖାପେକ୍ଷା କରିବ? (ସେଲା)

till how to judge injustice and face: kindness wicked to lift: kindness (Selah)

3 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦରିଦ୍ର ଓ ପିତୃହୀନମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କର; ଦୁଃଖୀ ଓ ଅକିଞ୍ଚନମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ନ୍ୟାୟ ବ୍ୟବହାର କର।

to judge poor and orphan afflicted and be poor to justify

4 ଦରିଦ୍ର ଓ ଦୀନହୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର; ଦୁଷ୍ଟଗଣର ହସ୍ତରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର।”

5 ସେମାନେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ କିଅବା ବୁଝନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ଏଣେତେଣେ ଭ୍ରମଣ କରନ୍ତି; ପୃଥିବୀର ସକଳ ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ବିଚଳିତ ହୁଏ।

not to know and not to understand in/on/with darkness to go: walk to shake all foundation land: country/planet

6 ମୁଁ କହିଲି, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଗଣ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନ।

I to say God you(m. p.) and son: descendant/people Most High all your

7 ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ପରି ମରିବ ଓ ଜଣେ ଅଧିପତି ତୁଲ୍ୟ ପତିତ ହେବ।”

8 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ଉଠ, ପୃଥିବୀର ବିଚାର କର; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସବୁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଧିକାର କରିବ।
