ଗୀତସଂହିତା 70

1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ; ସ୍ମରଣୋପାୟ। ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସତ୍ୱର ହୁଅ; ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋହର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସତ୍ୱର ହୁଅ।

To the victorie `of Dauid, `to haue mynde. God, biholde thou in to myn heelp; Lord, hast thou to helpe me.

2 ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣକାରୀମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ଓ ହତାଶ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ମୋʼ କ୍ଷତିରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ପଛକୁ ଫେରିଯାଇ ଅପମାନିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।

Be thei schent, and aschamed; that seken my lijf. Be thei turned a bak; and schame thei, that wolen yuels to me.

3 ଯେଉଁମାନେ “ହଁ, ହଁ” ବୋଲି କହନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଲଜ୍ଜା ସକାଶୁ ଫେରି ଯାଉନ୍ତୁ।

Be thei turned awei anoon, and schame thei; that seien to me, Wel! wel!

4 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କରନ୍ତି, ସେସମସ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଉଲ୍ଲସିତ ଓ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରିତ୍ରାଣକୁ ସ୍ନେହ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ “ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମହିମାନ୍ୱିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ” ବୋଲି ନିରନ୍ତର କହୁନ୍ତୁ,

Alle men that seken thee, make fulli ioie, and be glad in thee; and thei that louen thin heelthe, seie euere, The Lord be magnyfied.

5 ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ଦରିଦ୍ର ଓ ଦୀନହୀନ; ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋʼ ପକ୍ଷରେ ସତ୍ୱର ହୁଅ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ସହାୟ ଓ ଉଦ୍ଧାରକର୍ତ୍ତା ଅଟ; ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ବିଳମ୍ବ କର ନାହିଁ।

Forsothe Y am a nedi man, and pore; God, helpe thou me. Thou art myn helper and my delyuerere; Lord, tarye thou not.
