ଗୀତସଂହିତା 7
1 ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଶିଗାୟୋନ, ଏହି ଗୀତ ସେ ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନୀୟ କୂଶର କଥା ବିଷୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଗାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ ମୋʼ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଶରଣ ନେଉଅଛି; ମୋʼ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କର ଓ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର,
Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning Cush a Benjamite. O LORD my God, in Thee have I taken refuge; save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me;
2 ନୋହିଲେ ସେ ସିଂହ ପରି ମୋର ପ୍ରାଣ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି ଖଣ୍ଡ ଖଣ୍ଡ କରିବ, ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବାକୁ କେହି ନ ଥିବ।
Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଏହା କରିଥାଏ, ଯଦି ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତରେ ଅଧର୍ମ ଥାଏ;
O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
4 ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ସଙ୍ଗେ ମିଳନରେ ଥିବା ଲୋକର ମନ୍ଦ କରିଥାଏ; (ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ଅକାରଣରେ ମୋହର ବିପକ୍ଷ, ମୁଁ ତାହାକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଅଛି);
If I have requited him that did evil unto me, or spoiled mine adversary unto emptiness;
5 ତେବେ ଶତ୍ରୁ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ପଛେ ଦୌଡ଼ି ତାହାକୁ ଧରୁ; ଆହୁରି, ସେ ମୋʼ ଜୀବନକୁ ଭୂମିରେ ଦଳି ପକାଉ, ପୁଣି, ମୋʼ ଗୌରବକୁ ଧୂଳିସାତ୍ କରୁ। (ସେଲା)
Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it, and tread my life down to the earth; yea, let him lay my glory in the dust. (Selah)
6 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଆପଣା କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଉଠ, ମୋʼ ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣର କୋପ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଉଠାଅ ଓ ମୋʼ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୁଅ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନ୍ୟାୟବିଚାର କର।
Arise, O LORD, in Thine anger, lift up Thyself in indignation against mine adversaries; yea, awake for me at the judgment which Thou hast commanded.
7 ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ବେଷ୍ଟନ କରନ୍ତୁ; ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱକୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଗମନ କର।
And let the congregation of the peoples compass Thee about, and over them return Thou on high.
8 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବିଚାର ସାଧନ କରନ୍ତି; ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋହର ଧର୍ମ ଓ ମୋହର ଆନ୍ତରିକ ସରଳତାନୁସାରେ ମୋହର ବିଚାର କର।
O LORD, who ministerest judgment to the peoples, judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
9 ଆହା, ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କର ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାର ଶେଷ ହେଉ, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂସ୍ଥାପନ କର; କାରଣ ଧର୍ମମୟ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଓ ମର୍ମର ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି।
Oh that a full measure of evil might come upon the wicked, and that Thou wouldest establish the righteous; for the righteous God trieth the heart and reins.
10 ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କଠାରେ ମୋହର ଢାଲ ଅଛି, ସେ ସରଳମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ କରନ୍ତି।
My shield is with God, who saveth the upright in heart.
11 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଧର୍ମମୟ ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତା, ହଁ, ସେ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଦୁଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ କ୍ରୋଧକାରୀ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର।
God is a righteous judge, yea, a God that hath indignation every day:
12 ଯଦି କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନ ଫେରିବ, ତେବେ ସେ ଆପଣା ଖଡ୍ଗ ଶାଣିତ କରିବେ; ସେ ଆପଣା ଧନୁ ନୁଆଁଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
If a man turn not, He will whet His sword, He hath bent His bow, and made it ready;
13 ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହା ପାଇଁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁର ଅସ୍ତ୍ରଶସ୍ତ୍ର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେ ଆପଣା ତୀରସବୁ ଅଗ୍ନିର ତୀର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
He hath also prepared for him the weapons of death, yea, His arrows which He made sharp.
14 ଦେଖ, ସେ ଅଧର୍ମରୂପ ପ୍ରସବବେଦନାରେ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହେଉଅଛି; ହଁ, ସେ ଅନିଷ୍ଟ ଗର୍ଭରେ ଧାରଣ କରି ମିଥ୍ୟା ପ୍ରସବ କଲା।
Behold, he travaileth with iniquity; yea, he conceiveth mischief, and bringeth forth falsehood.
15 ସେ କୂପ ଖୋଳି ଗଭୀର କରିଅଛି, ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ଚୋରାଗର୍ତ୍ତରେ ପଡ଼ିଅଛି।
He hath digged a pit, and hollowed it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16 ତାହାର ଉପଦ୍ରବ ତାହାର ନିଜ ମସ୍ତକରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତିବ ଓ ତାହାର ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟ ତାହାର ନିଜ ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ପଡ଼ିବ।
His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.
17 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଧାର୍ମିକତାନୁସାରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବି ଓ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କରିବି।
I will give thanks unto the LORD according to His righteousness; and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
