ଗୀତସଂହିତା 60
1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଶୂଷନ୍-ଏଦୁତ୍ ସ୍ୱରରେ ଶିକ୍ଷାର୍ଥକ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ମିକ୍ତାମ୍; ଅରାମନହରୟିମ୍ ଓ ଅରାମ-ସୋବା ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ବେଳେ ଓ ଯୋୟାବ ଫେରି ଲବଣ ଉପତ୍ୟକାରେ ଇଦୋମୀୟ ବାର ହଜାର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ରଚିତ। ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୂର କରିଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ୍ରୁଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇଅଛ; ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୁନଃସ୍ଥାପନ କର।
Unto the end, for them that shall be changed, for the inscription of a title, to David himself, for doctrine, When he set fire to Mesopotamia of Syria and Sobal and Joab returned and slew of Edom, in the vale of the saltpits, twelve thousand men. O God, thou hast cast us off, and hast destroyed us; thou hast been angry, and hast had mercy on us.
2 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦେଶକୁ କମ୍ପିତ କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଅଛ; ତହିଁର ଭଗ୍ନସ୍ଥାନର ପ୍ରତିକାର କର; କାରଣ ତାହା ଟଳଟଳ ହେଉଅଛି।
Thou hast moved the earth, and hast troubled it: heal thou the breaches thereof, for it has been moved.
3 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କଠିନ ବିଷୟ ଦେଖାଇଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଟଳମଳକାରିଣୀ ମଦିରା ପାନ କରାଇଅଛ।
Thou hast shewn thy people hard things; thou hast made us drink wine of sorrow.
4 ସତ୍ୟତା ପକ୍ଷରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଭୟକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ପତାକା ଦେଇଅଛ। (ସେଲା)
Thou hast given a warning to them that fear thee: that they may flee from before the bow: That thy beloved may be delivered.
5 ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରିୟତମ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତରେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ କର ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅ।
Save me with thy right hand, and hear me.
6 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆପଣା ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନରେ କହିଅଛନ୍ତି; “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କରିବା; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶିଖିମକୁ ବିଭାଗ କରିବା ଓ ସୁକ୍କୋତ ଉପତ୍ୟକାକୁ ମାପିବା।
God hath spoken in his holy place: I will rejoice, and I will divide Sichem; and will mete out the vale of tabernacles.
7 ଗିଲୀୟଦ ଆମ୍ଭର ଓ ମନଃଶି ଆମ୍ଭର; ମଧ୍ୟ ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ ଆମ୍ଭ ମସ୍ତକର ଆଶ୍ରୟ; ଯିହୁଦା ଆମ୍ଭର ରାଜଦଣ୍ଡ।
Galaad is mine, and Manasses is mine: and Ephraim is the strength of my head. Juda is my king:
8 ମୋୟାବ ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରକ୍ଷାଳନ-ପାତ୍ର; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇଦୋମ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ପାଦୁକା ପକାଇବା; ହେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ସକାଶୁ ଉଚ୍ଚଧ୍ୱନି କର।”
Moab is the pot of my hope. Into Edom will I stretch out my shoe: to me the foreigners are made subject.
9 କିଏ ମୋତେ ଦୃଢ଼ ନଗରକୁ ଆଣିବ? କିଏ ମୋତେ ଇଦୋମ ଦେଶ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ କଢ଼ାଇ ନେବ?
Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
10 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୂର କରି ନାହଁ? ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ୟ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଗମନ କରୁ ନାହଁ।
Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go out with our armies?
11 ବିପକ୍ଷ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ଦାନ କର; କାରଣ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ବୃଥା।
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the salvation of man.
12 ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବୀରର କର୍ମ କରିବା; ଯେହେତୁ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣକୁ ଦଳି ପକାଇବେ।
Through God we shall do mightily: and he shall bring to nothing them that afflict us.
