ଗୀତସଂହିତା 56
1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯୋନତ୍-ଏଲମ୍ ରହୋକୀମ୍ ସ୍ୱରରେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ମିକ୍ତାମ୍; ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଗାଥ୍ ନଗରରେ ଧରିବା ସମୟରେ ରଚିତ। ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋତେ ଦୟା କର; କାରଣ ମୋହର ଶତ୍ରୁ ମୋତେ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବାକୁ ଉଦ୍ୟତ; ସେ ସାରାଦିନ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରି ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତି ଉପଦ୍ରବ କରଇ।

2 ମୋହର ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ଦିନସାରା ମୋତେ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବାକୁ ଉଦ୍ୟତ; କାରଣ ଦର୍ପରେ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକାରୀ ଲୋକ ଅନେକ।
Myn enemyes defouliden me al dai; for manye fiyteris weren ayens me.
3 ମୁଁ ଭୀତ ହେବା ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖିବି।
Of the hiynesse of dai Y schal drede; but God Y schal hope in thee.
4 ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବି; ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମୁଁ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖିଅଛି, ମୁଁ ଭୀତ ହେବି ନାହିଁ; ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ମୋର କଅଣ କରି ପାରିବ?
In God Y schal preise my wordis; Y hopide in God, Y schal not drede what thing fleisch schal do to me.
5 ସେମାନେ ସାରାଦିନ ମୋହର କଥାର ବିପରୀତ ଅର୍ଥ କରନ୍ତି; ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କଳ୍ପନାସବୁ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳାର୍ଥକ।
Al dai thei cursiden my wordis; ayens me alle her thouytis weren in to yuel.
6 ସେମାନେ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଲୁଚି ରହନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ପଦଚିହ୍ନ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତି, ଏହିରୂପେ ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣର ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
Thei schulen dwelle, and schulen hide; thei schulen aspie myn heele.
7 ସେମାନେ କʼଣ ଅଧର୍ମ ଦ୍ୱାରା ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବେ? ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିପାତ କର।
As thei abiden my lijf, for nouyt schalt thou make hem saaf; in ire thou schalt breke togidre puplis.
8 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ଭ୍ରମଣ ଗଣନା କରୁଅଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପାତ୍ରରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅଶ୍ରୁ ରଖିଥାଅ; ତାହାସବୁ କʼଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ନାହିଁ?
God, Y schewide my lijf to thee; thou hast set my teeris in thi siyt. As and in thi biheest, Lord;
9 ତେବେ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବା ବେଳେ ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ଫେରିଯିବେ; ମୁଁ ଏହା ଜାଣେ ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋହର ସପକ୍ଷ।
thanne myn enemyes schulen be turned abak. In what euere dai Y schal inwardli clepe thee; lo! Y haue knowe, that thou art my God.
10 ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବି।
In God Y schal preise a word; in the Lord Y schal preyse a word.
11 ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମୁଁ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖିଅଛି, ମୁଁ ଭୀତ ହେବି ନାହିଁ; ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ମୋହର କʼଣ କରି ପାରିବ?
Y schal hope in God; Y schal not drede what thing a man schal do to me.
12 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ମୋହର ମାନତ ଅଛି; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦରୂପ ଉପହାର ଦେବି।
God, thin auowis ben in me; whiche Y schal yelde heriyngis to thee.
13 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁରୁ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଅଛ; ଯେପରି ମୁଁ ଜୀବିତମାନଙ୍କ ଦୀପ୍ତିରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଗମନାଗମନ କରିବି; ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କʼଣ ପତନରୁ ମୋʼ ଚରଣକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବ ନାହିଁ?
For thou hast delyuerid my lijf fro deth, and my feet fro slidyng; that Y pleese bifore God in the liyt of hem that lyuen.
