ଗୀତସଂହିତା 5
1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ବଂଶୀ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରରେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋʼ ବାକ୍ୟରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦିଅ, ମୋହର କାକୂକ୍ତି ବିବେଚନା କର।
For the Chief Musician; with the Nehiloth. A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my (meditation)
2 ହେ ମୋହର ରାଜନ୍, ହେ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋହର ଆର୍ତ୍ତରବରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କର, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରେ।
Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee do I pray.
3 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳରେ ମୋହର ରବ ଶୁଣିବ; ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ସଜାଇବି ଓ ଜଗି ରହିବି।
O LORD, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; in the morning will I order [my prayer] unto thee, and will keep watch.
4 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ନୁହଁ; ମନ୍ଦ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ପ୍ରବାସ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: evil shall not sojourn with thee.
5 ଅହଙ୍କାରୀ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଠିଆ ହେବ ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତ ଅଧର୍ମାଚାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରୁଅଛ।
The arrogant shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
6 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମିଥ୍ୟାବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ହତ୍ୟାକାରୀ ଓ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚକ ଲୋକକୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି।
Thou shalt destroy them that speak lies: the LORD abhorreth the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
7 ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣାର ବାହୁଲ୍ୟରେ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୃହକୁ ଆସିବି; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପବିତ୍ର ମନ୍ଦିର ଆଡ଼େ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବି।
But as for me, in the multitude of thy lovingkindness will I come into thy house: in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
8 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ସକାଶୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଧର୍ମଗୁଣରେ ମୋତେ ପଥ କଢ଼ାଇ ନିଅ; ମୋʼ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଥ ସରଳ କର।
Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way plain before my face.
9 କାରଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖରେ କିଛି ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତା ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାମୟ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଗଳାର ନଳୀ ଅନାବୃତ କବର ସ୍ୱରୂପ; ସେମାନେ ଜିହ୍ୱାରେ ଚାଟୁବାଦ କରନ୍ତି।
For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness: their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
10 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୋଷୀ କର; ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଦ୍ୱାରା ପତିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅପରାଧର ବାହୁଲ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡ଼ି ଦିଅ; କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ବିଦ୍ରୋହ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
Hold them guilty, O God; let them fall by their own counsels: thrust them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
11 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶରଣାଗତ ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତୁ; ସେମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ସକାଶୁ ସର୍ବଦା ଜୟଧ୍ୱନି କରନ୍ତୁ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରୁଅଛ; ଆହୁରି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଉଲ୍ଲସିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।
But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice, let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
12 ଯେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଧାର୍ମିକକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବ; ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଢାଲ ପରି ଅନୁଗ୍ରହରେ ବେଷ୍ଟନ କରିବ।
For thou wilt bless the righteous; O LORD, thou wilt compass him with favour as with a shield.
