ଗୀତସଂହିତା 44
1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ କୋରହ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଗୀତ। ମସ୍କୀଲ୍। ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୂର୍ବକାଳରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ଯେଉଁ କର୍ମ କରିଥିଲ, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସ୍ୱକର୍ଣ୍ଣରେ ଶୁଣିଅଛୁ ଓ ସେମାନେ ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
To him that excelleth. A Psalme to give instruction, committed to the sonnes of Korah. We haue heard with our eares, O God: our fathers haue tolde vs the workes, that thou hast done in their dayes, in the olde time:
2 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ୱହସ୍ତରେ ତଡ଼ିଦେଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ରୋପଣ କରିଥିଲ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜନବୃନ୍ଦକୁ ନାଶ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିସ୍ତାରିତ କରିଥିଲ।
Howe thou hast driuen out the heathen with thine hand, and planted them: how thou hast destroyed the people, and caused them to grow.
3 କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ନିଜ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଦେଶାଧିକାର ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିଜ ବାହୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲା ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଥିବାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ବାହୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମୁଖର ପ୍ରସନ୍ନତା ତାହା କରିଥିଲା।
For they inherited not the lande by their owne sworde, neither did their owne arme saue them: but thy right hand, and thine arme and the light of thy countenance, because thou didest fauour them.
4 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ରାଜା ଅଟ; ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାକୁବ ପକ୍ଷରେ ମୁକ୍ତିର ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦିଅ।
Thou art my King, O God: send helpe vnto Iaakob.
5 ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣକୁ ତଳେ ପକାଇବା; ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉତ୍ଥିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଳି ପକାଇବା।
Through thee haue we thrust backe our aduersaries: by thy Name haue we troden downe them that rose vp against vs.
6 ଯେହେତୁ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଧନୁରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରିବି ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ମୋʼ ଖଡ୍ଗ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
For I do not trust in my bowe, neither can my sworde saue me.
7 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣଠାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଅଛ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଘୃଣାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ କରିଅଛ।
But thou hast saued vs from our aduersaries, and hast put them to confusion that hate vs.
8 ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସାରାଦିନ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କଠାରେ ଦର୍ପ କରିଅଛୁ ଓ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବା। (ସେଲା)
Therefore will wee praise God continually, and will confesse thy Name for euer. (Selah)
9 ମାତ୍ର ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୂର କରିଅଛ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅପମାନଗ୍ରସ୍ତ କରିଅଛ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ୟ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଗମନ କରୁ ନାହଁ।
But now thou art farre off, and puttest vs to confusion, and goest not forth with our armies.
10 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବିପକ୍ଷମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଫେରାଇ ଦେଉଅଛ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଘୃଣାକାରୀଗଣ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲୁଣ୍ଠନ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
Thou makest vs to turne backe from the aduersary, and they, which hate vs, spoile for theselues.
11 ଖାଦ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିରୂପିତ ମେଷଗଣ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିଅଛ ଓ ନାନା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କରିଅଛ।
Thou giuest vs as sheepe to bee eaten, and doest scatter vs among the nations.
12 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନାମୂଲ୍ୟରେ ବିକ୍ରୟ କରୁଅଛ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆପଣା ଧନ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରି ନାହଁ।
Thou sellest thy people without gaine, and doest not increase their price.
13 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିବାସୀଗଣ ନିକଟରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତିରସ୍କାରର ବିଷୟ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗସ୍ଥ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ହାସ୍ୟାସ୍ପଦ ଓ ଉପହାସର ପାତ୍ର କରୁଅଛ।
Thou makest vs a reproche to our neighbours, a iest and a laughing stocke to them that are round about vs.
14 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନାନା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗଳ୍ପର ବିଷୟ ଓ ଜନବୃନ୍ଦ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡହଲାର କାରଣ କରିଅଛ।
Thou makest vs a prouerbe among the nations, and a nodding of the head among the people.
15 ତିରସ୍କାରକାରୀର ଓ ନିନ୍ଦକର ସ୍ୱର ସକାଶୁ, ପୁଣି, ଶତ୍ରୁ ଓ ପ୍ରତିହିଂସକ ସକାଶୁ,
My confusion is dayly before me, and the shame of my face hath couered me,
16 ସାରାଦିନ ମୋʼ ଅପମାନ ମୋʼ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଥାଏ ଓ ମୋʼ ମୁଖର ଲଜ୍ଜା ମୋତେ ଢାଙ୍କିଅଛି।
For the voyce of the slaunderer and rebuker, for the enemie and auenger.
17 ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏସବୁ ଘଟିଅଛି; ତଥାପି ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପାସୋରି ନାହୁଁ, କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିୟମ ବିଷୟରେ ଅସତ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ନାହୁଁ।
All this is come vpon vs, yet doe wee not forget thee, neither deale wee falsly concerning thy couenant.
18 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୃଗାଳମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁଚ୍ଛାୟାରେ ଆଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ କରିଅଛ ବୋଲି
Our heart is not turned backe: neither our steps gone out of thy paths,
19 ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ବିମୁଖ ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଦଗତି ତୁମ୍ଭ ପଥରୁ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ।
Albeit thou hast smitten vs downe into the place of dragons, and couered vs with the shadow of death.
20 ଯଦି ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନାମ ପାସୋରିଥାଉ, ଅବା କୌଣସି ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେବତା ଆଡ଼େ ହସ୍ତ ପ୍ରସାରିଥାଉ;
If wee haue forgotten the Name of our God, and holden vp our hands to a strange god,
21 ତେବେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କି ତାହା ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ? କାରଣ ସେ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣର ଗୁପ୍ତ ବିଷୟସବୁ ଜାଣନ୍ତି।
Shall not God searche this out? for hee knoweth the secrets of the heart.
22 ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ସକାଶୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦିନସାରା ହତ ହେଉଅଛୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ହତ୍ୟା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆନୀତ ମେଷ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଗଣିତ ହେଉଅଛୁ।
Surely for thy sake are we slaine continually, and are counted as sheepe for the slaughter.
23 ଜାଗ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ନିଦ୍ରିତ ହେଉଅଛ? ଉଠ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଦାକାଳ ଦୂର କର ନାହିଁ।
Vp, why sleepest thou, O Lord? awake, be not farre off for euer.
24 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଲୁଚାଉଅଛ, ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କ୍ଳେଶ ଓ ଦୌରାତ୍ମଭୋଗ ବିସ୍ମୃତ ହେଉଅଛ?
Wherefore hidest thou thy face? and forgettest our miserie and our affliction?
25 କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣ ଧୂଳିରେ ଅବନତ; ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉଦର ଭୂମିରେ ଲାଗୁଅଛି।
For our soule is beaten downe vnto the dust: our belly cleaueth vnto the ground.
26 ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଉଠ ଓ ଆପଣା ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ସକାଶୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କର।
Rise vp for our succour, and redeeme vs for thy mercies sake.
