ଗୀତସଂହିତା 43

1 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋହର ବିଚାର କର ଓ ଅଧାର୍ମିକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ମୋହର ଗୁହାରି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କର; ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚକ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟାୟକାରୀ ମନୁଷ୍ୟଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର।

Be Thou my judge, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

2 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହିଁ ମୋହର ବଳଦାତା ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ମୋତେ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିଅଛ? ମୁଁ କାହିଁକି ଶତ୍ରୁର ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟ ସକାଶୁ ଶୋକ କରି ବୁଲୁଅଛି?

For Thou art the God of my strength; why hast Thou cast me off? Why go I mourning under the oppression of the enemy?

3 ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୀପ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସତ୍ୟତା ପଠାଅ; ତାହା ମୋହର ପଥଦର୍ଶକ ହେଉ; ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭ ପବିତ୍ର ପର୍ବତରେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଆବାସରେ ମୋତେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରାଉ।

O send out Thy light and Thy truth; let them lead me; let them bring me unto Thy holy mountain, and to Thy dwelling-places.

4 ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବେଦି ନିକଟକୁ ଓ ମୋହର ପରମାନନ୍ଦଜନକ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯିବି; ଆଉ, ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୁଁ ବୀଣା ଯନ୍ତ୍ରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବି।

Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God, my exceeding joy; and praise Thee upon the harp, O God, my God.

5 ହେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ଶୋକାକୁଳ ହେଉଅଛ? ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ମୋʼ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଅସ୍ଥିର ହେଉଅଛ? ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କଠାରେ ଭରସା ରଖ; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବି, ସେ ମୋʼ ମୁଖର ପ୍ରସନ୍ନତା ଓ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟନ୍ତି।

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why moanest thou within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the salvation of my countenance, and my God.
