ଗୀତସଂହିତା 38
1 ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ, ସ୍ମରଣୋପାୟ। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭ କୋପରେ ମୋତେ ଅନୁଯୋଗ କର ନାହିଁ; କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ମୋତେ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ।
A psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. Yahweh, do not rebuke me in your anger; do not punish me in your wrath.
2 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ତୀରସବୁ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ବିଦ୍ଧ ରହିଅଛି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତ ମୋତେ ଅତିଶୟ ଚାପୁଅଛି।
For your arrows pierce me, and your hand presses me down.
3 ତୁମ୍ଭ କୋପ ସକାଶୁ ମୋʼ ଶରୀର କିଛି ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ନାହିଁ; ପୁଣି, ମୋʼ ପାପ ସକାଶୁ ମୋʼ ଅସ୍ଥିରେ କିଛି ଆରାମ ନାହିଁ।
My whole body is sick because of your anger; there is no health in my bones because of my sin.
4 କାରଣ ମୋହର ଅପରାଧ ମୋʼ ମସ୍ତକ ଉପରେ ଉଠିଅଛି; ତାହାସବୁ ମୋʼ ଶକ୍ତି ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଭାରୀ ବୋଝ ସ୍ୱରୂପ।
For my iniquities overwhelm me; they are a burden too heavy for me.
5 ମୋହର ଅଜ୍ଞାନତା ସକାଶୁ ମୋହର କ୍ଷତସବୁ ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ଓ ବିକୃତ ହୋଇଅଛି।
My wounds are infected and smell because of my foolish sins.
6 ମୁଁ ବ୍ୟଥିତ ଓ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଅବନତ ହୋଇଅଛି। ମୁଁ ସାରାଦିନ ଶୋକ କରି ବୁଲୁଥାଏ।
I am stooped over and humiliated every day; I go about mourning all day long.
7 କାରଣ ମୋʼ କଟିଦେଶ ଜ୍ୱାଳାରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ମୋହର ମାଂସରେ କିଛି ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ନାହିଁ।
For within me, I am filled with burning; there is no health in my flesh.
8 ମୁଁ କ୍ଷୀଣ ଓ ଅତିଶୟ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଅଛି। ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଚିତ୍ତର ଅସ୍ଥିରତା ହେତୁରୁ ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ କରିଅଛି।
I am numb and utterly crushed; I groan because of the anguish of my heart.
9 ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋହର ସକଳ ବାଞ୍ଛା ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଅଛି ଓ ମୋହର କାତରୋକ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଗୁପ୍ତ ନୁହେଁ।
Lord, you understand my heart's deepest yearnings, and my groanings are not hidden from you.
10 ମୋହର ହୃଦୟ ଧୁକ୍ଧୁକ୍ କରୁଅଛି, ମୋହର ବଳ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହେଉଅଛି; ମୋହର ଚକ୍ଷୁର ତେଜ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ଗଲାଣି।
My heart pounds, my strength fades, and my eyesight dims.
11 ମୋହର ପ୍ରିୟ ଲୋକେ ଓ ମୋହର ମିତ୍ରମାନେ ମୋʼ ବ୍ୟାଧିରୁ ଅଲଗା ଠିଆ ହୁଅନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋହର ଜ୍ଞାତିବର୍ଗ ଦୂରରେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
My friends and companions shun me because of my condition; my neighbors stand far off.
12 ମଧ୍ୟ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣ ଚାହାନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ପାଇଁ ଫାନ୍ଦ ପାତନ୍ତି; ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋହର ଅନିଷ୍ଟ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ସର୍ବନାଶର କଥା କହନ୍ତି ଓ ସାରାଦିନ ଛଳର ଚିନ୍ତା କରନ୍ତି।
Those who seek my life lay snares for me. They who seek my harm speak destructive words and say deceitful words all day long.
13 ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ବଧିର ଲୋକ ପରି ଶୁଣୁ ନାହିଁ; ପୁଣି, ମୁଁ ମୁଖ ନ ଫିଟାଇବା ଘୁଙ୍ଗା ଲୋକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହୁଏ।
But I, I am like a deaf man and hear nothing; I am like a mute man who says nothing.
14 ଆହୁରି, ଯେ ନ ଶୁଣେ ଓ ଯାହାର ମୁଖରେ ପ୍ରତିବାଦ ନ ଥାଏ, ଏପରି ଲୋକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହୁଏ।
I am like a man who does not hear and who has no reply.
15 କାରଣ ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଭରସା ରଖେ; ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବ।
Surely I wait for you, Yahweh; you will answer, Lord my God.
16 କାରଣ ମୁଁ କହିଲି, “କେଜାଣି ମୋହର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବେ; ମୋʼ ପାଦ ଖସିଗଲା ବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଦର୍ପ କରନ୍ତି।”
I say this so that my enemies will not gloat over me. If my foot slips, they will do terrible things to me.
17 ଯେଣୁ ମୁଁ ଝୁଣ୍ଟି ପଡ଼ିବାକୁ ଉଦ୍ୟତ ଓ ମୋହର ଦୁଃଖ ସର୍ବଦା ମୋʼ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଥାଏ।
For I am about to stumble, and I am in constant pain.
18 ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଅପରାଧ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବି; ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ପାପ ଲାଗି ଖେଦିତ ହେବି।
I confess my guilt; I am concerned about my sin.
19 ମାତ୍ର ମୋହର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ସତେଜ ଓ ବଳବାନ; ପୁଣି, ଅନ୍ୟାୟରେ ମୋତେ ଘୃଣା କରିବା ଲୋକେ ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
But my enemies are numerous; those who hate me wrongfully are many.
20 ମଧ୍ୟ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ହିତର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତେ ଅହିତ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ବିପକ୍ଷ; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଉତ୍ତମ ବିଷୟର ଅନୁଗମନ କରେ।
They repay me evil for good; they hurl accusations at me although I have pursued what is good.
21 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋତେ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କର ନାହିଁ; ହେ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ଦୂରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ।
Do not abandon me, Yahweh; my God, do not stay far away from me.
22 ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋହର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ, ମୋହର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ସତ୍ୱର ହୁଅ।
Come quickly to help me, Lord, my salvation.
