ଗୀତସଂହିତା 36
1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦାସ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ଅପରାଧ ମୋʼ ହୃଦୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କହେ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ବିଷୟକ ଭୟ ତାହାର ଚକ୍ଷୁର ଅଗୋଚର।
For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David the servant of Jehovah. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.
2 କାରଣ ତାହାର ଅଧର୍ମ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ଓ ଘୃଣିତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି ସେ ଆପଣା ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଭୁଲାଏ।
For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, That his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.
3 ତାହାର ମୁଖର ବାକ୍ୟ ଅଧର୍ମ ଓ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନା ମାତ୍ର; ସେ ସୁବିବେଚନା ଓ ସୁକର୍ମ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରିଅଛି।
The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: He hath ceased to be wise [and] to do good.
4 ସେ ଆପଣା ଶଯ୍ୟାରେ ଅଧର୍ମ କଳ୍ପନା କରେ; ସେ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ମାର୍ଗରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଏ; ସେ ମନ୍ଦତା ଘୃଣା କରେ ନାହିଁ।
He deviseth iniquity upon his bed; He setteth himself in a way that is not good; He abhorreth not evil.
5 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଥାଏ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତା ଗଗନସ୍ପର୍ଶୀ।
Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, is in the heavens; Thy faithfulness [reacheth] unto the skies.
6 ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପର୍ବତଗଣ ତୁଲ୍ୟ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶାସନସବୁ ମହାବାରିଧି ସ୍ୱରୂପ; ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଓ ପଶୁକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରୁଅଛ।
Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God; Thy judgments are a great deep: O Jehovah, thou preservest man and beast.
7 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା କିପରି ବହୁମୂଲ୍ୟ! ପୁଣି, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପକ୍ଷଛାୟା ତଳେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ ନିଅନ୍ତି।
How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.
8 ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୃହର ପୁଷ୍ଟିକର ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟରେ ବହୁଳ ରୂପେ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ ହେବେ; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ଆନନ୍ଦ-ନଦୀର ଜଳ ପାନ କରାଇବ।
They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
9 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଜୀବନର ନିର୍ଝର ଅଛି; ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୀପ୍ତିରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦୀପ୍ତି ଦେଖିବା।
For with thee is the fountain of life: In thy light shall we see light.
10 ଆହେ, ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆପଣା ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ଓ ସରଳାନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆପଣା ଧାର୍ମିକତା ଚିରସ୍ଥାୟୀ କର।
Oh continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee, And thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
11 ଅହଙ୍କାରୀର ଚରଣ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ନ ଆସୁ ଓ ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ହସ୍ତ ମୋତେ ଘଉଡ଼ାଇ ନ ଦେଉ।
Let not the foot of pride come against me, And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.
12 ହେଇ, ଅଧର୍ମାଚାରୀମାନେ ପତିତ ହେଲେ; ସେମାନେ ଅଧଃପତିତ ହେଲେ, ଆଉ ଉଠିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ।
There are the workers of iniquity fallen: They are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise.
