ଗୀତସଂହିତା 35
1 ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋʼ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବିବାଦ କରନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବିବାଦ କର। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋʼ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କର।
David’s. Contend, O Yahweh, with them who contend with me, Make war upon them who make war upon me.
2 ଢାଲ ଓ ଫଳକ ଧାରଣ କର ଓ ମୋର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅ।
Grasp buckler and shield, and arise in my help;
3 ମଧ୍ୟ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ଧରି ମୋʼ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପଥ ରୁଦ୍ଧ କର; ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ କୁହ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ।
Then draw the spear, and close up against my pursuers, Say to my soul, Thy salvation, I am!
4 ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣକାରୀମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ଓ ଅପମାନିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ମୋହର ଅନିଷ୍ଟ ଚିନ୍ତକମାନେ ବିମୁଖ ଓ ବିବ୍ରତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।
Let them be ashamed and confounded, who are seeking my life, —Let them turn back and be put to the blush, who are devising my hurt:
5 ସେମାନେ ବାୟୁ ଆଗେ ତୁଷ ପରି ହେଉନ୍ତୁ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୂତ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘଉଡ଼ାଇ ଦେଉନ୍ତୁ।
Let them be as chaff before the wind, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pressing them on:
6 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଥ ଅନ୍ଧକାରମୟ ଓ ଖସଡ଼ା ହେଉ, ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୂତ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଉନ୍ତୁ।
Let their way become dark and slippery, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pursuing them.
7 ଯେହେତୁ ସେମାନେ ଅକାରଣରେ ମୋʼ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ତ୍ତ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଜାଲ ଲୁଚାଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଅକାରଣରେ ମୋʼ ପାଇଁ ଖାତ ଖୋଳିଅଛନ୍ତି।
For, without cause, have they hid for me, in a ditch, their net, —Without cause, have they digged [a pit] for my life.
8 ଅଜ୍ଞାତସାରରେ ତାହାକୁ ସର୍ବନାଶ ଘଟୁ ଓ ତାହାର ଗୁପ୍ତ ଜାଲ ତାହାକୁ ହିଁ ଧରୁ; ସର୍ବନାଶ ସହିତ ସେ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପଡ଼ୁ।
There shall reach him a ruin he could not know, —Yea, his own net which he hath hidden, shall capture him, Into that ruin, shall he fall!
9 ଆଉ, ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେବ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପରିତ୍ରାଣରେ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କରିବ।
But, my soul, shall exult in Yahweh, —shall be glad in his salvation.
10 ମୋହର ଅସ୍ଥିସକଳ କହିବ, “ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ତୁଲ୍ୟ କିଏ ଅଛି? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଃଖୀକୁ ତାହା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ବଳବାନ ଲୋକଠାରୁ, ମଧ୍ୟ ଦୁଃଖୀ ଓ ଦୀନହୀନକୁ ତାହାର ଲୁଟକାରୀଠାରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଥାଅ।”
All my bones, shall say—O Yahweh, who is like unto thee? Rescuing the oppressed from one stronger than he, Yea the oppressed and the needy, from their spoiler.
11 ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ସାକ୍ଷୀମାନେ ଉଠୁଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ବିଷୟ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପଚାରୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
There rise up witnesses helping forward violence and wrong, What I know not, they demand of me:
12 ସେମାନେ ହିତର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତେ ମୋହର ଅହିତ କରନ୍ତି, ତହିଁରେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ଅନାଥ ହୁଏ।
They repay me evil for good, Bereaving my soul.
13 ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ପୀଡ଼ିତ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ଚଟ ମୋହର ପରିଧେୟ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ହେଲା; ମୁଁ ଉପବାସ କରି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣକୁ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେଲି ପୁଣି, ମୋହର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାର ଉତ୍ତର ମୋତେ ମିଳିଲା ନାହିଁ।
But, as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth, I humbled, with fasting, my soul, though, my prayer, unto mine own bosom, might return:
14 ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ବନ୍ଧୁ ଓ ଭ୍ରାତା ଥିଲା ପରି ମୁଁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କଲି; ମୁଁ ମାତୃଶୋକାତୁର ଲୋକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଶୋକରେ ଅବନତ ହେଲି।
Like as for a friend, like as for a brother of mine own, I walked to and fro, As though mourning for a mother, I gloomily bowed myself down.
15 ମାତ୍ର ମୋହର ପାଦ ଖସିଯିବା ବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରି ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହେଲେ; ଅଧମ ଲୋକମାନେ ମୋʼ ଅଜ୍ଞାତସାରରେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହେଲେ; ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲେ ଓ କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ ନୋହିଲେ;
But, in mine overthrow, have they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together, —There gathered themselves together against me foolish men, and I knew it not, They have torn in pieces, and not been silent;
16 ଭୋଜରେ ପାଷାଣ୍ଡ ଉପହାସକମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଦନ୍ତ ଘର୍ଷଣ କଲେ।
Amidst profane praters of perversion, have they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
17 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କେତେ କାଳ ଅନାଇ ଥିବ? ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଧ୍ୱଂସନରୁ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ, ସିଂହମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମୋହର ଏକମାତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର।
My Lord! how long wilt thou look on? Bring back my soul out of their raging, from among lions, my solitary self.
18 ମୁଁ ମହାସମାଜ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଦେବି। ମୁଁ ମହାଜନତା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବି।
I will thank thee, in the midst of a great convocation, —In the midst of a mighty people, will I praise thee.
19 ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ୟାୟରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ। କିଅବା ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅକାରଣରେ ମୋତେ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିହାସ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ।
Let not them who are falsely my foes rejoice over me, As for them who hate me without cause, let them not wink the eye!
20 ସେମାନେ ଶାନ୍ତିର କଥା କହନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ଦେଶସ୍ଥ ଶାନ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଛଳକଥା କଳ୍ପନା କରନ୍ତି।
For, no salvation, will they utter, —But, against the quiet of the land, deceitful things, do they devise;
21 ହଁ, ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କଥା କହିଲେ; ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, “ହଁ, ହଁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଚକ୍ଷୁ ତାହା ଦେଖିଅଛି।”
Yea they have opened wide against me their mouth, They have said, Aha! Aha! our own eye, hath seen!
22 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଦେଖିଅଛ; ନୀରବ ରୁହ ନାହିଁ; ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ଦୂରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ।
Thou hast seen, O Yahweh, do not keep silence! O My Lord! be not far from me:
23 ହେ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ହେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରଭୋ, ଜାଗି ଉଠ, ମୋହର ବିଚାର ଓ ବିବାଦ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୁଅ।
Bestir thyself and wake up, to my vindication, O my God and My Lord!—to my plea:
24 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମ ପ୍ରମାଣେ ମୋହର ବିଚାର କର ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ।
Vindicate me according to thy righteousness, O Yahweh, my God! And let them not rejoice over me:
25 “ହଁ, ସେପରି ହେଉ ବୋଲି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛା,” ଏହା ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମନରେ ନ କହନ୍ତୁ; “ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାକୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିଅଛୁ” ବୋଲି ସେମାନେ ନ କହନ୍ତୁ।
Let them not say in their heart, Aha! to our mind! Let them not say, We have swallowed him up!
26 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋʼ ବିପଦରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଏକତ୍ର ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ଓ ବିବ୍ରତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଦର୍ପ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜା ଓ ଅପମାନ ପରିଧାନ କରନ୍ତୁ।
Let them turn pale, and then at once blush, who are rejoicing at my misfortune, —Let them be clothed with shame and confusion, who are magnifying themselves against me.
27 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋʼ ଧର୍ମରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ, ସେମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦଧ୍ୱନି କରି ଆହ୍ଲାଦିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ଆପଣା ଦାସର ସମୃଦ୍ଧିରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମହିମାନ୍ୱିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ ବୋଲି ସେମାନେ ନିରନ୍ତର କହନ୍ତୁ।
Let them shout in triumph and rejoice, who are desiring my justification; And let them say continually, Yahweh be magnified, Who hath taken pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
28 ପୁଣି, ମୋହର ଜିହ୍ୱା ଦିନସାରା ତୁମ୍ଭ ଧର୍ମଗୁଣ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରଶଂସାର କଥା କହିବ।
Mine own tongue also, shall softly utter thy righteousness, —All the day long, —thy praise!
