ଗୀତସଂହିତା 32
1 ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ଗୀତ। ଯାହାର ଅପରାଧ କ୍ଷମା, ଯାହାର ପାପ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।
By David. — An Instruction. O the happiness of him whose transgression [is] forgiven, Whose sin is covered.
2 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯାହା ପ୍ରତି ଅଧର୍ମର ଆରୋପ ନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଯାହାର ଆତ୍ମାରେ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନା ନାହିଁ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।
O the happiness of a man, To whom Jehovah imputeth not iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.
3 ମୁଁ ମୌନ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ଦିନସାରା ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ କରିବା ଦ୍ୱାରା ମୋହର ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଇଲା।
When I have kept silence, become old have my bones, Through my roaring all the day.
4 କାରଣ ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଭାରୀ ଥିଲା; ମୋହର ଶକ୍ତି ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମକାଳୀନରେ ଭୂମି ଯେପରି ଶୁଷ୍କ ହୁଏ ସେହିପରି ଶୁଷ୍କ ହେଲା। (ସେଲା)
When by day and by night Thy hand is heavy upon me, My moisture hath been changed Into the droughts of summer. (Selah)
5 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଆପଣା ପାପ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କଲି ଓ ଆପଣା ଅଧର୍ମ ଲୁଚାଇଲି ନାହିଁ; ମୁଁ କହିଲି, “ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆପଣା ଅପରାଧ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରିବି,” ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ପାପଘଟିତ ଅଧର୍ମ କ୍ଷମା କଲ। (ସେଲା)
My sin I cause Thee to know, And mine iniquity I have not covered. I have said, 'I confess concerning My transgressions to Jehovah,' And Thou — Thou hast taken away, The iniquity of my sin. (Selah)
6 ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ପାଇ ପାରିବା ସମୟରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ସଦ୍ଭକ୍ତ ଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁ; ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ମହାଜଳରାଶି ଉଚ୍ଛୁଳିବା ସମୟରେ ତାହା ତାହା ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବ ନାହିଁ।
For this doth every saintly one pray to Thee, As the time to find. Surely at an overflowing of many waters, Unto him they come not.
7 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ଲୁଚିବା ସ୍ଥାନ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଙ୍କଟରୁ ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ରକ୍ଷାର୍ଥକ ଗାୟନରେ ମୋହର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ବେଷ୍ଟନ କରିବ। (ସେଲା)
Thou [art] a hiding-place for me, From distress Thou dost keep me, [With] songs of deliverance dost compass me. (Selah)
8 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେବି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗନ୍ତବ୍ୟ ମାର୍ଗ ଶିଖାଇବି; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରଖି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଦେବି।
I cause thee to act wisely, And direct thee in the way that thou goest, I cause mine eye to take counsel concerning thee.
9 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବୁଦ୍ଧିହୀନ ଅଶ୍ୱ କି ଖଚର ପରି ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦମନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବାଗ ଓ ଲଗାମ ଦେବାର ଆବଶ୍ୟକ, ନୋହିଲେ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ କତିକି ଆସିବେ ନାହିଁ।
Be ye not as a horse — as a mule, Without understanding, With bridle and bit, its ornaments, to curb, Not to come near unto thee.
10 ଦୁଷ୍ଟକୁ ଅନେକ ଦୁଃଖ ଘଟିବ; ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁ ଜନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖେ, ତାହାର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଦୟା ବେଷ୍ଟନ କରିବ।
Many [are] the pains of the wicked; As to him who is trusting in Jehovah, Kindness doth compass him.
11 ହେ ଧାର୍ମିକଗଣ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କର ଓ ଉଲ୍ଲସିତ ହୁଅ; ହେ ସରଳାନ୍ତଃକରଣ ସମସ୍ତେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦଧ୍ୱନି କର।
Be glad in Jehovah, and rejoice, ye righteous, And sing, all ye upright of heart!
